Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Two Fates Fusion

 "Ahem..."

Yun Zheng used all her strength to pry his hands apart, but they were as hard as steel, unmoved.

 No!

 This would kill me!

To save her life, she had no other choice but to resort to this method. She secretly activated her dark pupils, and her inky black eyes instantly turned a bewitching crimson.

She clenched her hands tightly around his neck, her sharp nails digging into his skin, mysteriously absorbing the blood that flowed out.

Rong Shuo sensed danger and tried to release his grip, but was restrained by an invisible force.

"Our two... lives have merged. If I live, you live! If I die, you die—"

A clear, cold voice rang out, and Rong Shuo felt a strange connection within him.

Yun Zheng's eerie crimson eyes pierced his, and she suddenly smiled, a look that, though awkward, was stunning.

The next moment, her hands drooped limply, landing in the water with a plop. Her head tilted, and she passed out.

Rong Shuo's face darkened; he could feel his life force slipping away.

This seemingly harmless woman before him, cunning and wielding a mysterious, irresistible spell, had caught him.

 Those mysterious, strange eyes...

She couldn't die yet, at least not until the spell was unlocked!

Afterward, he would make her suffer a fate worse than death!

 "Your Majesty!"

"Your subordinate is late! I beg Your Majesty to punish me!"

Suddenly, two men in black appeared on the creek's bank. They half-knelt, bowed their heads, and raised their hands in a bow.

With a splash, a cold, distinguished man in a black robe rose from the water, a petite woman in his arms. He

 walked slowly towards the shore.

"Get up," a deep, pleasant voice echoed.

Upon hearing this, the two men in black stood up. The moment they looked up, their mouths gaped in shock, their mouths forming an o.

Rong Shuo glanced at them with a cold glance, and the two men in black shuddered, quickly regaining their composure.

 Their minds were racing:

Holy crap, is this still the Emperor?

Why is he holding a woman? This is horrifying!

The Emperor is a complete mysophobia, averse to women, and even less so to anyone near him...

To think, now he's holding a female creature!

This woman is covered in wounds, with the red marks on her neck being particularly noticeable. Could it be the Emperor's doing?!

The Emperor is truly fierce! It seems he's discovered something truly profound.

Should I subtly offer the Emperor someday: Be more gentle with women? After all, if they're too aggressive, they'll only survive a day...

Meanwhile, Rong Shuo had already placed Yun Zheng on the ground. He frowned, and in his slender, bony hand, a white, eighth-grade elixir appeared. He thrust it into her mouth without the slightest hint of pity.

 Fortunately, the elixir melted instantly.

The eighth-grade elixir's effects were remarkable. Within moments, Yun Zheng's wounds were healing, and her pale complexion gradually regained its rosy complexion.

Only the red mark on her fair neck remained distinct. How could a mere eighth-grade elixir heal the wounds inflicted by his power?

Fortunately, her vital energy was gradually returning.

When she regained consciousness, he would have her undo the mysterious spell.

Rong Shuo's mind suddenly flashed back to her wicked smile before she passed out, her triumphant, provocative gaze, and her words, "Our two lives merge. If I live, you live; if I die, you die!" Suddenly, a wave of anxiety washed over him.

Rong Shuo glanced at her, then stood up and called out, "Qingfeng."

Qingfeng immediately bowed respectfully, "I'm here!"

"Tell Elder Xuanyue that the time is postponed."

"Yes," Qingfeng replied, then turned and disappeared.

Mo Yu, watching his own Emperor distance himself from the disheveled woman, stood with his hands behind his back, gazing into the distance.

Mo Yu muttered quietly, "Is the Emperor angry with that girl?"

"Mo Yu, you're free?" a cold voice called out.

Mo Yu, hearing this, instantly felt as if facing a formidable enemy. Putting on a perfect smile, she said, "I just remembered there seems to be a flaw in the barrier at the bottom of the cliff. I'll go and reinforce it now!"

With that, she slipped away as if escaping.

 Dusk

 fell, and night fell.

The cliffside was completely silent, devoid of any sound. Only a distinguished and aloof man in a black robe stood there, his hands clasped behind his back, his eyes closed, resting.

An unknown amount of time passed.

A faint whimper echoed from the ground, and the unconscious person slowly woke up. It was pitch black.

She sat up, feeling a sharp pain in her neck. She subconsciously stroked it, her mind racing back to the moments before her coma.

Yun Zheng couldn't help but complain a few words, "I've never seen such a violent pervert, does he think he can do whatever he wants just because he's handsome?!"

"Huh?" A low voice filled with countless chills rose slightly.

Yun Zheng was startled and looked in the direction of the voice. A tall, dark figure stood more than ten meters away.

 Yun Zheng: ...

the embarrassment of being caught on the spot for saying bad things.

Yun Zheng quickly closed her eyes and checked her pupils. Only she could see a thin red line between her and him...

This red line was formed by destiny and could not be seen by others, including the man in front of her.

The fate plates were integrated, so she was not afraid now.

He would kill himself.

In her previous life, she had been a Xuantong practitioner in a modern, hidden clan, deeply versed in metaphysics and pupil techniques. The technique of fusion of horoscopes was used by couples.

Married, they shared unwavering love, their horoscopes blended, becoming inextricably linked. Those who betrayed her suffered irreparable destruction.

She had only used this technique when absolutely necessary...

Yun Zheng walked toward him, forcing a familiar smile. "Brother..."

Rong Shuo stared back at her, interrupting her coldly, "I've solved it."

Yun Zheng's eyes rolled slightly, a flicker of their phoenix. Suddenly, with a wolf-like pounce, she threw herself against his thighs, hugging them tightly, as if crying out to the heavens: "Wuwuwu...Brother, I'm the only one who can't solve it myself."

Disgust flashed in Rong Shuo's deep eyes. He tried to kick her away, but Yun Zheng held him tightly, preventing him from breaking free.

In the darkness, veins bulged at Rong Shuo's temples, and he wished he could smack her to death.

 "How do you solve it?"

Yun Zheng sniffed and said, "Yin and Yang unite, enjoying the pleasure of love."

 "Shame on you!"

Rong Shuo, overcome with indignation, waved his hand, and a mountain was instantly blasted away. Dust billowed, and even the surrounding trees were uprooted. In an instant, the area was reduced to ruins.

Yun Zheng was astonished, shocked by his unfathomable strength. He

seemed to be more than a hundred million...

even the royal ancestors of the Great Chu Kingdom, who had reached the level of Spirit Emperor, were probably not as strong as him! This man looked young, perhaps only twenty-four or twenty-five, yet he was already so powerful.

As expected, those who possessed the Purple Star Great Destiny Plate were all children of genius.
