Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

My heartbeat quickened. The darkness around me seemed to thicken. I couldn't see anything behind me.

I froze. My breath caught. It felt like a shadow was moving toward me, though I couldn't make out anything—was someone or something really coming?

The rustling of the bushes grew closer. I flicked on my torch slightly. The unknown figure advanced slowly, and suddenly a cold breeze brushed past my ear.

I stumbled slightly, stepping back. I held my breath. Allah, protect me… what kind of danger is this?

"Maybe it's just fear," I told myself. I had to stay calm. I could sense at least five or six people a little farther away. In the night, even a low voice travels far.

Their last words: they're coming? According to them, someone would arrive—and no one here is safe. That meant something dangerous was about to happen in Moonveil Forest. I had to stay silent and unseen. Maybe I could even gather some clues.

One of them spoke:

"Boss, we're sure we'll find the hidden bags of money in Moonveil Forest."

"Some sources say the bags are somewhere in this jungle. Search carefully. We must find them before they do."

The boss pressed his lips, scanning the trees, as if someone might be hiding.

Then, in a low voice:

"Listen… if they find out we came here for the money, this will be our grave."

He paused, weighing his words.

"They have no mercy… human or animal, it's the same. Once they suspect… they separate heads from bodies."

A flicker of fear appeared in his eyes.

"So we must find the bags before word gets out. Otherwise, by sunrise… none of us will live."

Night had fallen deep over the forest. Suddenly, the earth cracked with a scream. From the fissure emerged the Dravkin—shadowy, unfamiliar forms with glowing red eyes, clad in black. Even the dead of night seemed to blaze like day.

The people froze, speechless, staring wide-eyed. One whispered:

"Who… are you?"

The Dravkin moved closer. One of them spoke:

"We are Dravkin. We come from another world. We are searching for the Green Diamond."

The group gasped. No one had ever heard the name before—history, legends, nothing mentioned the Green Diamond.

The Dravkin suddenly turned aggressive. Their strength was inhuman. The boss watched in stunned disbelief.

Some of the men had guns and tried to fight. But the red light in the Dravkin's eyes spread destructive power. One by one, the men were struck.

First came small wounds. Then their bodies began to burn like fire. Hair, flesh—everything scorched to ash. Screams and chaos gave way to unnatural silence.

In the final moments, those who tried to survive were reduced to ashes. I hid deeper in the bushes, eyes wide. I could hardly breathe. My hands were cold, my body stiff. One step forward, and they might catch me. Smoke hung in the air, green light danced. I could only watch—how powerful, how terrifying.

By the end, all who tried to survive were gone. I shivered in the shadows. Fear, awe, helplessness—all at once. I felt smaller than nothing.

"Wait… this is the dream I've had—the red-glowing figures, and that round object in my hand. Could it really be… the Green Diamond?"

Suddenly, my phone rang. I gasped and reached for it, but the sound was faint. Then I noticed—the Dravkin paused, their red eyes flickering. They moved slowly toward the bushes where I hid, and I trembled.

Next chapter… will I survive? Can I escape the Dravkin's gaze?

To be continued.
