"Grandmaster!"
This newly emerged figure immediately caught Nick Fury's attention.
Although this "Sakaar" alien, the bald-headed Fury, couldn't possibly know, the fact that this person had electrocuted Thor was undoubtedly a sign of a formidable individual.
The diary also made it very clear that the Grandmaster had zapped Thor just as he was about to "unleash his ultimate attack"!
And according to Satan, Thor after unleashing his ultimate attack was on par with the Hulk.
At the very least, he wouldn't be getting stomped by the Hulk.
This meant...
Thor's power, when he goes all-out, is significantly enhanced compared to his usual state.
Not to mention, Thor was already a powerhouse, a guy who nearly cleaved the Purple Potato in half with a single swing of his axe.
And yet, he got zapped by the Grandmaster?
Thor, being zapped? Isn't that ridiculous?
Clearly, this wasn't like the time Thor was taken down by that woman named Daisy in New Mexico.
That time, Thor was definitely injured or something, otherwise, he wouldn't have been taken down by a little taser.
But this time?
He was zapped by the Grandmaster right as he was about to unleash his full power!
Regardless of how the Grandmaster did it, the fact that he could zap even a powered-up Thor, who commands lightning, spoke volumes about his strength.
Besides that, Nick Fury noticed another key point.
Arena.
Why was Thor and Hulk's fight taking place in the Arena?
Could it be that these two were captured and brought to the Arena, forced to fight each other like gladiators in the ancient Roman arenas?
For the entertainment of others?
The diary did indeed mention, "In front of so many people."
However, this must be a coincidence, right?
How could someone like Thor or Hulk be captured and forced to be gladiators?
That would be too shocking!
The reason these two were fighting in the Arena must be something else entirely!
As for the exact reason, without any relevant information, Nick Fury couldn't even begin to imagine.
[Hulk has had quite a few exciting battles, actually. If we were to list them all, there would definitely be many more.] [But let's just do a rough overview today. Maybe we'll do a detailed version sometime when we feel like it.] [So, besides the battle with Thor in the Sakaar Arena, the other major fight was the one with Stark, right?]
[To be precise, it was a battle between Hulk and the Hulkbuster Armor developed by Stark.]
[This battle was also very exciting; I personally think it deserves the ninth spot.]
Our Tony's on the list again!
Tony Stark couldn't help but roll his eyes, feeling somewhat dismissive.
Ninth place? This list isn't worth being on!
After all, Zhou Cheng had already said that Hulk's fight with Abomination could make the top ten.
And his own fight with Hulk was only ninth?
If he could, Tony Stark would really want Zhou Cheng to remove it from this list.
Of course, this kind of thing was just a casual complaint.
The playboy quickly put those thoughts aside and continued to focus on this wave of spoilers.
Hulkbuster Armor?
Tony Stark's eyes lit up. This was good!
Undoubtedly, judging by the name, this armor of his was specifically developed to deal with the Hulk.
And since this battle was included in Zhou Cheng's list, the Hulkbuster Armor had undoubtedly been successful, and effective at that!
To think that he could develop armor specifically designed to suppress someone like the Hulk, who could even beat up Thor.
Indeed, he, Tony, was still as excellent as ever.
"Wait a minute!"
Immediately after, Tony Stark suddenly thought of another question.
Since there was a Hulkbuster Armor, would he have developed other armors as well?
For example, an Anti-Purple Potato Armor, or an Anti-Dormammu Armor?
Anti-Scarlet Witch Armor?
Six six six!
The more Tony Stark thought about it, the brighter his eyes became.
Regardless of whether the version of him in the other universe had done it or not, the playboy thought he could definitely try it in the future.
Armor tailored to deal with all the future threats!
[Even though the Hulkbuster Armor got wrecked by the Hulk, it did at least suppress him for a while.]
[And isn't this also Iron Man's usual style?]
[Batman counters whoever he needs to, while Iron Man gets countered by whoever he's up against! Haha!]
[But putting this battle before Hulk vs. Abomination, I think it's still fine.]
[Wait a minute, how many words is this already?]
[Never mind, let's stop here for now. I'll see if there's anything else interesting.]
The Hulkbuster Armor was getting wrecked?
Tony Stark instinctively wanted to object.
However, considering the images of the Hulk he had seen before, the playboy temporarily shut his mouth.
Alright.
With the Hulk's terrifying destructive power, the Hulkbuster Armor wouldn't be able to fight him without taking any damage or being destroyed.
Even if some degree of damage occurred, it would be within reason.
Was this something Zhou Cheng needed to specifically bring up? Seriously.
He couldn't stand a day without putting himself down, could he?
But he'd only just started his rant when the playboy's lips began twitching uncontrollably.
What the hell?
Batman beats anyone he fights, and he, Tony, gets beaten by whoever he fights?
Are you kidding me?
Tony Stark, of course, knew who Batman was.
Even though he didn't read comics much, given his status, Batman and Superman were iconic figures, known by everyone.
The playboy knew this as well.
He'd even read the comics as a child.
After becoming a superhero like the Destroyer, he'd even thought he could rival the comic book Batman, or be the real-life version.
So, Tony Stark understood Batman very well.
Regarding the diary's mention of Batman beating anyone he fought, the playboy wholeheartedly agreed.
After all, Batman really did have that ability, even possessing the fatal weaknesses of every member of the entire Justice League.
Taking down whoever he opposed was just basic operation.
But his Tony Stark wasn't bad either!
Batman took down whoever he opposed, so why was it that when it came to his Tony Stark, it was he who got taken down?
Slander!
This was absolute slander!
"This time, Satan finally deigned to give a hint."
Nick Fury, in front of another diary, couldn't help but complain.
He'd had the diary for several months now, and didn't know how many times he'd secretly "spied" on Satan's entries.
But every time, Satan was incredibly casual and arbitrary, often stopping abruptly mid-sentence.
Even Nick Fury thought that, despite the cover reading "[Zhou Cheng's Diary]", what Satan wrote wasn't really a diary.
It was more like writing whatever came to mind, wherever his thoughts led, with no beginning or end, just fragmented thoughts and complaints.
So, every time, Nick Fury had to sit and wait in front of the diary for several minutes to confirm if the other party was finished.
Something like this, with a clear "closing statement," was rare.
Clap!
Nick Fury didn't waste any more time, closing the diary and getting down to business.
What business?
Without a doubt, it was the matter of the Hydra moles.
This was the most important and also the most troublesome thing for the Director.
Now, Talos had successfully replaced a high-ranking Hydra mole, Sitwell – the bald guy with the glasses – and had perfectly infiltrated Hydra.
Based on the information Talos had provided so far, this infiltration was proving very successful.
It hadn't raised any suspicions within Hydra.
This wasn't unexpected by Nick Fury.
After all, they had made extremely thorough preparations for this infiltration.
Only after they were highly confident did they begin to execute the plan.
And with the Skrulls' incredible advantage, nothing was likely to go wrong.
This would be Nick Fury's first step in counter-penetrating Hydra.
This was also an important step in Nick Fury's fight against Hydra.
And this step, Nick Fury would not stop, or rather, it was only the beginning.
Next, Fury would follow the same pattern, constantly unearthing high-level Hydra infiltrators, and continuously infiltrating the Skrulls!
Plus, Stark had recently raided a Hydra base, from which Fury had also dug up a lot of useful information.
The fight against Hydra could be said to be quite effective.
Of course.
For those Hydra infiltrators who had just been unearthed, Nick Fury didn't act rashly; he didn't want to alert the enemy.
Many times, keeping the infiltrators was actually more meaningful than eliminating them.
As for now...
Nick Fury picked up a file, his one eye gazing at a rather gentlemanly-looking man in the picture, his gaze somber.
"Baron Strucker, are you ready?"
That's right, Baron Strucker. He was Nick Fury's next target for infiltration.
After the diary revealed Baron Strucker's Hydra affiliation, Fury had secretly begun investigating and confirming the matter.
The results were, of course, beyond doubt.
Fury had confirmed that the facts were exactly as stated in the diary. Baron Strucker was indeed a member of Hydra.
And a high-ranking one at that.
In that case, how could Fury possibly remain indifferent?
Not long after having Talos prepare to replace Sitwell, he began arranging for other Skrulls to replace Baron Strucker.
It had been a long time in the planning, and now, Fury felt the time was finally right.
After a moment's thought, he pulled out a satellite phone and dialed a top-secret number.
"It's time to move in!"
"Understood!"
A deep, gravelly voice immediately responded from the earpiece.
The operation to replace Baron Strucker was about to begin!
Putting down the satellite phone, Nick Fury rubbed his temples and began to deal with other matters.
Lately, Fury could clearly feel a very secretive force watching Ivan Vanko, and also watching him.
This had greatly hindered Fury's efforts to assemble the Whiplash Special Forces Team.
This also confirmed for Fury that his actions against Hydra during this period had already put them on alert.
The war with Hydra in the future was likely to become even more brutal.
Adding to that the upcoming events in New Mexico, Fury felt his head was about to explode.
Knock, knock, knock!
Unaware of the passage of time, immersed in various matters, Nick Fury didn't realize how long he'd been working when a knock sounded at the door.
Fury looked up and saw it was Barton, back from his secret mission.
"Come in!"
Nick Fury put away the files in front of him and beckoned Barton inside.
"Sir, why did you suddenly call me back? My last mission isn't finished yet."
Barton walked up to Nick Fury, his expression serious as he looked at him.
"Whether your mission is over or not depends on me, not you."
Fury said matter-of-factly, then gave Barton an order, "Report. What's the status of your mission?"
"The progress isn't too optimistic."
Barton shook his head, then placed a stack of files in front of the bald-headed man. "The Red Room does exist, that's undeniable. This is some of the information I've gathered on the 'Widows' within the Red Room."
Fury casually flipped through the files, and one figure after another came into view.
But suddenly, Fury's movements paused.
His one good eye caught the image of someone, someone familiar.
Yelena.
Although this person had no blood relation to Natasha, she had pretended to be Natasha's family when Natasha was a child.
Natasha actually cared quite a bit about this sister, who was not related by blood.
She never expected that this person was still under the control of the Red Room.
However, Nick Fury only glanced at the information, his expression unchanged, and casually put the file down.
He refocused his attention on Barton, Hawkeye, in front of him.
Barton then continued his report: "However, I still haven't found any clues about where the Red Room's base is."
How could Hawkeye Barton have imagined that the Red Room's base was hidden in the sky, hidden within the clouds?
How could he possibly find out?
Nick Fury nodded, indicating he understood.
"Put the Red Room matter on hold. I have something more important here."
Nick Fury issued another order to Barton, recalling him.
Now, all sorts of pressing issues had emerged, and Fury was in dire need of personnel, but he didn't have many people he could trust.
At this critical moment, someone like Barton couldn't be wasted on something like the Red Room.
It wasn't just Barton.
The undercover mission for Black Widow could also end now.
After recalling Barton, Nick Fury immediately recalled Black Widow as well.
