Chapter fourty-nine
Aito was sitting in the changing room by himself as he asked for as he held Renjiro's gloves.
Toruu: "..."
Toruu stood in silence, leaning on the wall as the only noice came from thumping of the stadium.
Then Kimiyo came in, breathless from running.
Kimiyo: "Aito... here drink this."
Kimiyo gave Aito a water bottle.
Aito: "thanks."
Aito drank it but there was a mark on the bottom of the bottle.
Toruu: "(Tampering with his drink. I should kill her here...)"
Toruu made a small black blade form between his fingers.
Aito: "ugh this tastes horrible. Kimi."
Aito said dumping it down the sink.
Kimiyo: "Sorry I just grabbed one."
Kimiyo said as Toruu dismissed the blade.
Toruu: "dont Tamper with Aito's drink again kimiyo."
Toruu said as he kept his eyes closed able to still see.
Kimiyo: "It's just a sports booster."
Kimiyo said as she left to go to the stands.
Toruu: "I wouldn't trust her."
Aito: "why? Just because she's my Rival's sister?"
Aito asked confused.
Toruu: "No. Because she's different now. She gives me bad feelings now."
Toruu said standing up.
Aito stood up aswell as Coach fumio and Antonio walked in.
Antonio: "hey Toruu."
Antonio said nudging him.
Toruu: "hmph."
Toruu looked away.
Coach fumio: "what's got him grumpy?"
Coach fumio asked.
Aito: "It's because kimiyo gave me a drink that toruu thinks is tampered I dumped it anyway."
Aito said as Toruu started walking out.
Coach fumio: "we better just go walk."
Coach fumio said as they walked out.
Toruu walked with crossed arms his eyes closed as Aito walked out behind him.
The crowd cheered and were spreading rumors about Toruu being Aito's bodyguard now.
Aito walked inside the ring and raised his gloves.
Announcer: "ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the main event! Aito Takeshi vs Hideo takahara! Aito in the ring now he stands at 5'4 and weighs 130pounds, he has record of 6-0-1 all by KO and his only draw was against Yoten Takizawa who is one of the strongest counter puncher in the school as of now."
Co announcer: "I've been hearing that people want a Aito vs Yoten II! Do you think that will happen in the future?"
Announcer: "I don't know. Right now Aito is set on Shindou. Every fight he's doing in this tournament is leading up to shindou."
The Announcer said as Hideo walked out of his corner no one but himself.
Aito: "no corner?"
Hideo walked to the ring his gloves badly falling apart and his shorts have multiple rips.
Announcer: "I'd say Hideo takahara is poor but he can't be! After all he just got paid 10k for his last fight! Anyway Hideo takahara now in the ring! Weighing 127 pounds standing at 5'7! With a record of 9-0-0. Mostly by Quits by his opponent and no contests as his opponents wouldn't leave their changing room!"
The Announcer said as the match was starting up.
Ref: "no low blows, no elbows, no headbutts, let's have a clean match alright? Back to your corner."
The ref said Aito staring Hideo down.
Back in the corner.
Aito: "Toruu I think I'll win."
Aito said stretching his legs.
Toruu: "He's unpredictable so be reckless."
Toruu said shocking Aito.
Aito: "be reckless!?"
The bell rang making Aito run into the middle but Hideo only took small steps towards the middle.
Aito: "(how long is he gonna take?)"
Aito wondered as he watched Hideo slowly walk towards him.
Hideo inches closer his rear leg not moving as if it's locked up.
Aito: "(Fine. I'll push.)"
Aito rushed in throwing a leaping left hook which Hideo dodged by leaning backwards and throwing a uppercut with his body coiling upwards.
Aito took the uppercut and landed unbalanced as Hideo pushed in.
Aito: "crap!"
Aito raised a cross block, but Hideo wasn't punching.
Aito: "(No strikes?)"
Aito lowered his fist and Hideo threw a lazy one two which did hurt Aito.
Hideo: "ahh..."
Hideo pounced onto Aito and holding onto him.
Aito: "hey!"
The ref stepped in.
Ref: "break it up!"
The ref yelled as Hideo bit Aito's shoulder.
Aito: "h-hey!"
Aito said pushing Hideo off of him.
Aito: "can't you see I already have a scar? I don't need more!"
Aito said as His heart throbbed.
Aito: "ugh..."
Ref: "time! Back to your corners!"
The ref said prematurely ending round 1 with a whole minute left.
The judges looked confused as why he ended it?
Ref: "1 minutes rest."
The ref said as Hideo laid on the mat in his corner.
Coach Dante: "(They threw atlease under 10 punches that round.)"
