Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 Erza and the other two join the guild

When Erza and the others heard they would be walking all the way to Magnolia, they felt both nervous and excited.

Nervous, because none of them had ever traveled so far before.

Excited, because it was their very first real journey, and the thought of exploring the unknown filled their hearts with anticipation.

Noah led them to the village chief and explained that he intended to bring them to Magnolia to join Fairy Tail.

The chief agreed without hesitation. Ever since he had witnessed Noah's overwhelming magic the night before, his trust in Fairy Tail had only grown. With Noah promising to bring the children back often, the chief felt reassured.

The three then went to say farewell to the villagers they were close to. The people wished them well, encouraged them to live happily, and urged them to return whenever they could.

Erza, Simon, and Kagura promised they would and said their goodbyes.

Before leaving, they also greeted the Kingdom Army and Magic Council members who were still stationed nearby. The two leaders repeated their promise to contact Noah with any news, clearly eager for his help in future operations.

Noah, of course, wanted to join the fight against the Black Magic Cult, but for now, he would have to wait and see.

With their farewells complete, Noah and his three companions officially set out on the road to Magnolia.

Along the way, Noah shared his knowledge with them how to survive in the wild, how to handle themselves in towns, and what to be mindful of when accepting commissions.

He occasionally teleported back to the guild to pick up small subjugation requests along their route. Escort or delivery missions weren't suitable for training, but monster subjugations were perfect. Noah had more than enough power to protect the children, and with his teleportation magic, he could guarantee their safety.

For these missions, Noah often sent his Thought Projection to fight while his real body stayed behind with the three, observing from a safe distance.

Through this, Erza, Simon, and Kagura came to fully witness the scope of Noah's strength. They even saw two of Fairy Tail's greatest super magics with their own eyes Fairy Law and Fairy Glitter.

They were left breathless by the brilliance of Fairy Law's holy light, and awestruck by the pillar of Fairy Glitter that pierced the heavens and earth.

But they also saw the destructive price of such power.

Fairy Law itself wasn't so bad it only struck those the caster identified as enemies, leaving the environment mostly untouched.

Fairy Glitter, however, was another story. By gathering the light of sun, moon, and stars, and after Noah's improvements even more energy into one devastating beam, it became a merciless weapon that erased everything it touched.

During one mission, Noah released Fairy Glitter and accidentally sank an entire mountain. Thankfully, there had been no one else nearby, but the sheer scale of the damage terrified him. He quickly grabbed the three children and fled beyond the collapsing range.

In addition to sharing his experiences, Noah also put the three of them through both physical and magical training.

He didn't teach them any specific spells yet. His plan was to let them discover their own paths once they reached Fairy Tail's library, or to let their magic awaken naturally as their reserves and control grew.

So the four of them traveled steadily, training, learning, and growing together. Thanks to the strength they had already built up, they managed the ten-day journey without trouble.

At last, they reached Magnolia.

Noah pushed open the great wooden doors of Fairy Tail, and the familiar roar of laughter, shouting, and clattering filled the air.

Two guild members were already quarreling by the entrance. Without hesitation, Noah grabbed both by the collar and tossed them aside, clearing a path as he walked toward the counter with Erza, Simon, and Kagura trailing behind.

The guild hall was a storm of chaos. Wizards laughed, drank, and wrestled with each other all around them. The three newcomers were overwhelmed. Kagura clung tightly to Simon's hand, his legs trembling. Erza pressed close to Noah, holding onto his sleeve as they followed nervously.

At last, they reached the counter where Master Makarov sat.

"You're back," the guild master said, stroking his beard with a knowing look. "I figured it would be around this time. And these three must be the ones you mentioned…"

"Yes," Noah replied. "These are the new members I'd like to recommend to join the guild."

He briefly explained what had happened in Rosemary, told Makarov of their circumstances, and explained that since none of them had adults to care for them, he had invited them to Fairy Tail, hoping they could live happy lives here.

Makarov nodded, then turned to the children.

"And what are your names?"

"Erza Belserion," Erza said clearly.

"Simon Mikazzyk," Simon added nervously.

"Kagura Mikazuki," Kagura said, her voice soft.

Noah had learned Erza's last name after getting to know her better and discovering she hadn't had one before.

Noah told Erza that Belserion was the name of a wise dragon, and that it suited her perfectly as a surname. Though Erza felt a little strange about it, she eventually nodded in agreement.

Makarov then asked kindly,

"So, do all of you want to join Fairy Tail?"

"Brother Noah recommended me here," Erza said firmly. "He told me the guild is like a family, full of companions, so I want to join."

"Noah recommended it, and I trust Noah," Simon added.

"I'll follow my brother," Kagura said softly.

Hearing their answers, Makarov smiled and nodded.

"As guild master, I officially welcome you to Fairy Tail. Now, it's time to stamp your guild emblem. Where do you want it, and what color?"

The three children each made their choice, and Makarov pressed the magic stamp against their skin one by one.

The moment the Fairy Tail emblem appeared on them, all three felt a strange rush of energy flow through their bodies, lifting their spirits.

Simon looked down at the mark with wide eyes.

"What is this? Why do I feel so much more energetic with the guild crest? Are all guilds like this?"

Noah chuckled.

"No, not every guild. This is something special about Fairy Tail. It's one of our guild's blessings."

The three of them kept staring at their marks, touching them with fascination, smiles spreading across their faces.

Makarov hopped up onto the counter and raised his voice.

"Let's have a party to celebrate Erza, Simon, and Kagura joining Fairy Tail!"

"Ohhhhh!!!"

The entire guild erupted in cheers. Everyone rushed forward at once, swarming the three new members with excitement.

"You two little sisters are so cute! How old are you?"

"What's the relationship between the three of you?"

"You're brother and sister? That's adorable! What's your village like?"

"I heard Noah was the big hero this time. Do you know the details?"

"Yeah, come on, tell us how Noah did out there!"

Overwhelmed, Erza, Simon, and Kagura panicked. The guild members even started squabbling with each other while shouting their questions. Somehow, the three managed to slip away and ended up in the corner, where Makarov was speaking quietly with Noah.

Simon tugged at Noah's sleeve and whispered nervously,

"Is everyone always this… enthusiastic?"

Just then, a cup flew through the air past Simon's head. He broke into a cold sweat.

"Is this… really okay?"

Noah laughed and patted him on the shoulder.

"It's fine. This is what makes our guild special. You'll get used to it. Don't you think it's full of energy?"
