Chapter 24 - Chapter 24 Preparing to Leave

Noah teleported back to Rob. The nearby garrison members were startled by his sudden appearance, but once someone recognized him as the wizard who had repelled countless Black Magic Cult members that night, the tension eased and no conflict arose.

Noah checked Rob's condition. His injuries had healed well, but for some unknown reason, his magic power was gone. This would require the care of a professional. After informing the garrison, Noah brought Rob to the eastern forest outside Magnolia and sought out Polyusica.

Woken up in the middle of the night, Polyusica was furious at first. But when she saw Rob's condition, she swallowed her anger and quietly began treatment.

Noah helped where he could, but with other matters to attend to the next day, he bid her farewell. Polyusica waved him off, sending him away.

Noah returned to Erza's house, settled himself in the living room, and finally went to sleep.

The next morning, Noah rose early.

He had already spent five years in this world. Every day was full and alive, and with magic to study, he felt genuine happiness. His physical training and improved fitness left him brimming with energy each morning, even if he had stayed up late the night before.

After washing his face and brushing his teeth, Noah borrowed Erza's kitchen, used her stored ingredients along with a few of his own, and prepared a hearty breakfast with the cooking skills he had honed over the years.

As the smell drifted through the house, light footsteps sounded. Erza emerged, her face drowsy, eyes heavy with sleep. Clearly, the events of the day before had left her restless through the night.

Noah walked over, gently guided her toward the kitchen, and said,

"Go wash your face and brush your teeth first. I'll call Simon and Kagura for breakfast."

Erza gave a sleepy nod and obediently went to wash up.

Noah stepped outside, closed the door behind him, and headed for Simon's house. He knocked until the door creaked open, revealing Simon his face just as sleep-deprived as Erza's.

"Go wake Kagura," Noah told him. "Wash up and come over to Erza's house. I've made breakfast for all of us."

Simon nodded, suppressing a yawn, and went back inside to fetch his sister.

By the time Noah returned, Erza had already finished washing and was carefully packing her belongings. Noah joined her, helping with the essentials, then sealed everything neatly into magic cards.

Soon after, Simon and Kagura arrived, and everyone gathered around the table for breakfast together.

Once they finished eating, Simon and Kagura returned home to pack. Noah continued helping Erza, making sure her house was left tidy and secure in case it remained empty for a long time.

When they finally closed the door, Erza lingered, gazing back with reluctant eyes.

Noah placed a hand on her shoulder.

"We're only leaving for a while. If you ever want to come back, I'll bring you. With my magic, we can return anytime."

Erza's sadness softened at his words. Still, she asked quietly,

"Wouldn't that trouble you too much?"

Noah smiled.

"We're companions, we're family. I'll help you when you need it, and one day, you'll help me when I need it too, right?"

Erza nodded firmly.

"Yes. I'll help you whenever you need me."

Hearing that, Noah felt her mood brighten. Together, they headed to Simon's home. By then, Simon and Kagura had packed nearly everything. Noah checked over their belongings, then sealed them with his magic cards as well.

When the room was put back in order and the door closed, Simon sighed in wonder.

"Magic is amazing. So many things, all stored in a single card…

By the way, Noah, where will we live once we join Fairy Tail?"

After making sure nothing was left behind, Noah answered,

"Fairy Tail has a girls' dormitory. Erza and Kagura can stay there. As for you, since I invited you personally, you can stay at my house if you'd like."

"Live at your house?" Erza asked curiously. "Where is your home?"

"My house? It's in Magnolia, about ten minutes from the guild. I bought it not long ago."

"In Magnolia… so it's nearby… Wait " Simon blinked, suddenly realizing something. "You bought the house yourself? You're only ten years old. How could you possibly have enough money to buy a house?"

"There's nothing strange about that," Noah answered calmly. "I've been an S-Class wizard for almost two years now. S-Class jobs are difficult, but the rewards are enormous. And since I don't really spend money on anything else, I've been able to save almost everything I earned.

Once I realized I had enough saved up, I went shopping for a house. It's only been about two weeks since I bought it."

Over the past few years, Noah had devoted himself to learning all kinds of magical knowledge. To improve the spells he regularly used, he relied on Mavis' vast wisdom techniques like Thought Projection and wide-area detection magic.

Super magics like Fairy Law and Fairy Glitter had originally been created or refined by Mavis herself, so Noah's own adjustments naturally became more polished with time.

Even enhancing the guild emblem had required him to purchase research equipment. Fortunately, there weren't many functions to begin with, and most of what he wanted had already been realized thanks to Mavis' guidance. Any further features would simply take more time and study.

Since the costs of his research were relatively low, Noah had still managed to save enough to buy his home.

"S-Class wizards make that much money?" Simon said in awe. "I want to become one too."

Hearing this, all three of them Erza, Simon, and Kagura showed a spark of ambition in their eyes.

"If you work hard," Noah told them, "you could become S-Class wizards in a few years. Each of you has real talent. Once you're back at the guild and receive proper training, with the way Fairy Tail is now, you'll grow quickly. With effort, reaching S-Class isn't impossible."

The three children began to picture themselves as powerful S-Class wizards, their imaginations soaring. Simon was the first to snap back to reality. He turned to Noah and asked,

"So how are we getting to Magnolia? Are you just going to teleport us there?"

Noah shook his head.

"No. I want to walk with you. It's the perfect chance to teach you what you'll need to know. Out in the wild, in towns, when taking on missions you should learn all of it step by step."

Of course, Noah could have returned them to the guild instantly, but there was no need to rush. This was the perfect opportunity.

Along the road, he could teach them survival skills, explain how to handle themselves during jobs, and even teleport back to the guild occasionally to pick up small commissions they could complete together. That way, they would gain firsthand experience in how to approach tasks and begin adapting to guild life.

By the time they arrived in Magnolia, they would already know the basics. The initial unease of leaving home would be behind them, and they would be ready to face life as true Fairy Tail members without regret.
