3 years later…
We were walking on the beach together, our steps in sync. As the tide came in, the sunset shone through the sky, displaying the clouds tinted with beautiful hues of magenta and lavender purple . The sun glinted off the rim of his glasses, joyful laughter filled the air, the wind blew through my hair. All of my troubles in the past vanished in that moment. For once, I felt at peace.
I haven't thought about Mariana in a while, does three years count as a while though? Actually, it's been a long time since I've last thought about my sister, Mariana. So much has changed in these past three years and I'm so glad the case regarding my sister's disappearance is finally over. "We should eat dinner at the new restaurant," Noah says, bringing me back to the present. "Red Stiletto Restaurant?" I ask, as I look at the bright sign with a Louboutin heel on top. "Yeah, that's the one, I've heard that the food is delicious and they have various types of foods from all around the world." he says. I smile back, joy radiating from me like the sun.
I'm wearing a lavender dress with swirling designs laced on the front. I trace the gemstones on my fluorite necklace. So many emotions run through me, going to the new restaurant with Noah, the wonderful memories we've had so far, leading me back to one of my favorite moments,
