Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 – Black Kramer

After Uchiha Hazuki taught Izumi the method of extracting Chakra, the young girl discovered that the process came surprisingly easily to her. Within moments, she could feel it—an entirely new sensation awakening inside her.

> "So this is Chakra! It's… fascinating!"

Her eyes widened in wonder, the crimson tomoe of her Sharingan swirling to life as she focused inward. Through that heightened vision, she could see the faint, luminous threads of blue energy flowing through her body's network of meridians. It was beautiful—mysterious and elegant, as if life itself had taken on color.

Everyone was born with Chakra, of course. But only those who could extract and control a large amount of it could truly walk the path of a shinobi. Those with too little… were destined to remain ordinary.

Her mother's reaction was immediate and filled with pride. Hazuki laughed, swept Izumi into her arms, and spun her around in a joyful circle. To have her daughter awaken such talent so quickly meant hope—not only for a bright future but for safety. A shinobi could protect herself. And in a world as dangerous as theirs, that was no small blessing.

"You must practice diligently," Hazuki urged, eyes soft with both love and resolve. "When you grow stronger, I will give you all of your father's Ninjutsu scrolls."

"Yes!" Izumi agreed without hesitation, her voice brimming with determination.

---

That night, Izumi lay awake long after the lantern had been extinguished. Sleep eluded her. How could she possibly rest when her mind was racing with excitement? She hadn't merely inherited one powerful bloodline… but two. The Sharingan of the Uchiha. And the strange, liquid-like Divine Ink that pulsed quietly within her.

It made sense now. In the original timeline, Uchiha Izumi had awakened her Sharingan at just five years old and reached the rare Three-Tomoe stage by thirteen. She had been exceptional in Taijutsu as well. But now? Now Izumi had the advantage of foresight and something more—her own unique "cheat."

Sitting upright, she whispered to herself, "No… I must start cultivating immediately. These past few days have been exhausting, but that doesn't matter. For my future, I have to work harder. Chakra alone isn't enough. I need every advantage I can get. This Divine Ink… it must be my golden finger. I have to master it."

Her expression hardened.

"Before the Uchiha Clan massacre… I must have enough strength to protect myself—and my mother."

Since awakening the memories of her previous life, her soul felt sharper, stronger. She could sense the smallest details of her inner condition—almost as if her mind had become its own sensory organ.

Closing her eyes, she concentrated. Somewhere deep within her core, she felt it: a dense, liquid weight. The Divine Ink. It wasn't foreign anymore—it had already merged with her, seeped into her very being. And now… it responded.

In her inner perception, the black mass began to move, threading its way through her meridians. Under her guidance, it flowed easily, circulating throughout her entire body. The sensation was unlike anything she had ever felt—cool and smooth, yet brimming with quiet power.

Izumi's eyes snapped open, her lips parting in awe.

> "It works… it really works! How interesting!"

The more she experimented, the more her excitement grew. When her ordinary blue Chakra came into contact with the Divine Ink, it transformed—darkening into a striking black that reminded her of an ink wash painting come to life.

She stood from her bed, activating her Sharingan again to watch the strange transformation within herself.

"Black Chakra… flowing through all my meridians? This is too strange. But… what can I do with it? And… my Chakra reserves feel huge."

Then the answer struck her like lightning. She clenched a small fist into her palm.

"Of course! Ink… is for writing and drawing!"

She rummaged across her desk, found a brush, and dipped it into… nothing. Then, guiding her altered Chakra into the bristles, she pressed it against paper.

The brush glided effortlessly. Despite the absence of any physical ink, black lines bloomed across the page, shimmering faintly with traces of Chakra. There was no obstruction, no difficulty—the Divine Ink carried her will perfectly. In the original Naruto world, precise Chakra control was notoriously difficult. But for her? It was as natural as breathing.

Izumi stared at the shapes forming beneath her hand, then burst out laughing.

> "This is it! This is my cheat! I already know exactly what I can do with this!"

---

A few days later, Izumi and her mother finished packing their belongings. They moved to the Uchiha Clan's newly designated residential compound, tucked away in a secluded corner of Konoha. The new district was well-built… but she recognized the real reason behind its location. The high walls, the watchful guard posts—identical to the surveillance architecture she'd seen in the anime.

It was a gilded cage.

No one enjoyed being constantly monitored, but that was the reality of the Uchiha under Konoha's political tensions. The thought made her lip curl. Worse still, she remembered the Hyuga Clan's Byakugan—with its near-x-ray vision. Instinctively, she wrapped her small arms protectively around herself. Even if she was physically just a five-year-old, she was still, in essence, a grown woman inside. The idea of being watched like that was deeply unsettling.

Upon arrival, Hazuki and Izumi met with Uchiha Fugaku, the clan head, and several elders. The formalities were swift. After securing their approval, they were assigned a new home—a solid, two-story house with a spacious yard. Izumi nodded in quiet satisfaction. It was comfortable, at least.

At first, the reception from their neighbors was cold. In Uchiha tradition, marrying outside the clan was frowned upon, and Hazuki's return with her half-blood daughter drew wary glances. But Hazuki's warmth and easygoing manner gradually melted the ice. Over the weeks, they built cordial relationships with those around them.

Izumi took note of her clanmates. Most were strikingly beautiful—sharp-featured men and graceful women, their bearing marked by quiet pride. A few had eccentric personalities, but they were generally approachable once you knew them.

---

One morning, Izumi awoke with a long, satisfied stretch.

"Mmm… so comfortable. I feel lighter today."

She rolled over, considering a few more minutes of blissful idleness.

"No." She sat up sharply. "I can't waste the morning like this. I have to train!"

She began cycling through the boxing techniques she remembered from her previous life—foundation-building forms that strengthened the body evenly. In this world, Taijutsu styles varied wildly: the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist, for example, resembled the elegant spirals of Baguazhang, while Rock Lee's Drunken Fist mirrored certain unpredictable Chinese martial arts. Even the Ōtsutsuki Clan had their own unique styles, like Wing Chun.

Naruto's world, she reflected, was a melting pot of martial traditions from across cultures. And here she was, adding another layer with her own experience.

Completing a set, Izumi noticed how effortless the movements felt now. The Divine Ink had sharpened her coordination and reflexes. Every motion felt more natural, more precise.

After stretching, she was about to wash up when her mother entered.

"Izumi, I've brought you what you wanted. It was in your father's things," Hazuki said, holding out a scroll.

Izumi leapt from the bed, eyes bright. "Is this…?"

"My father's sealing technique for storing items."

Unrolling it, she studied the diagrams, brush in hand. Channeling her Divine Ink Chakra, she copied the symbols onto paper. Then she formed the necessary hand seals.

To her delight, the storage seal manifested instantly. Where others might need to painstakingly regulate their Chakra to make such fūinjutsu work, she simply drew it—and it obeyed.

The seal failed after a moment due to uneven lines, but she didn't mind. Her grin was unstoppable.

> "To create it so easily… this is amazing."

Her mind raced ahead—explosive tags, binding seals, barrier charms. All within reach.

From then on, she dedicated hours each day to drawing talismans, refining her precision. With each attempt, she learned more about the structure and purpose of the symbols. During this practice, she stumbled upon another revelation: the spiritual energy she was cultivating wasn't ordinary. It was natural energy—Sage Chakra.

Her breath caught. Sage Chakra was legendary. Naruto, Kabuto, Hashirama… only the strongest of shinobi had ever mastered it. If she could harness that power, she would be unstoppable.

For now, she set aside complex Ninjutsu. She could learn those at the Academy. Building her physical strength and refining her control over Chakra—and Sage Chakra—would be her priority.

One afternoon, she tested her Chakra nature using special paper. To her astonishment, it reacted in every possible way: one corner wrinkled, another dampened, another crumbled, and another ignited.

She blinked at it, stunned. "All five natures? You've got to be kidding me… I'm a genius!"

Her laughter rang out through the room—bright, unrestrained, and full of promise.
