I always liked to watch superheroes when i was young, heroes like power rangers and other heroes, but i always though what if i got superpowers, it might be cool and amazing. But, i was wrong. My wish came true but the price was way harder.
Tokyo was in ruins, Tokyo tower was destroyed, shibuya was in bad conditions, roads were destroyed, building look like they were abandoned.
Someone with pale skin, white hair, a single horn on his right side of the head, that reached his left like a crown, he wasn't walking he was floating looking at me dead in the eye, his eye pupil was grey with a star shaped in it, his sclera was dark, inhuman.
"That eye doesn't belong to you, human" he said, with a blank face, i was in the ground looking up to him. "You don't understand it's power. But other and i the chief of the celestial clan understand it's power" my body float against my will, gravity was obeying him. That damn eye of his.
I look left my allies were all defeated, my staff was broken, Useless now. "My staff...." i said, the Celestial clan's leader grab my chin. "No" my Body wasn't moving but something inside me finally snapped. "You've made a mistake!" i shouted and my hand launch a red laser, the pale figure float back a few feet.
My body healed, i stand up. "Yes, you're right i don't know the power of this eye. You want to steal it. but, i was born with it" My eye starts to turn like his but my pupil was red instead of grey. My torn suit starts to turn red, a black line starts to appear from my feet it went up till it reach my left eye.
"Only the second stage?" the pale figure said with a mocking voice, he pointed his hand toward me and gravity starts to increase.
My feet dug the ground but i stand my ground. "Only the second stage not the fourth but i can beat you with it" I stand up, gritting my teeth i look at him dead in the eye. "This is my power!!!" i flew infront of him and gave him a punch in the face and gut, he went flying crashing through buildings.
"Now that hurts" the figure said, wiping the dirt from his clothes. "Now let me show you what the real power of the eye can do" He float up to a building looking down at me.
I flew toward him with all i have he too came, both of us extended a hand to punch eachother.
This all started ** year ago, when i was a normal boy in the village away from Tokyo, living village live, normal days, farm and schools.
Alarm clock rang and in a house a boy, 14 years old woke up, he was going to be late for school. "AHHH!!" he screamed and quickly got dressed up, after he was done he went to the kitchen and took a bread. " Bye mom!" he shouted leaving the house.
"Atleast eat breakfast properly" his mother shouted but he ws already gone, she sighs.
Outside the boy was running with all he got suddenly a girl block his way her hair was black, her eye was brown, she wore a white uniform with a red skirt it was Mina haruka. "You're not late for school Ken" it ws his friend.
"Ahh Hawuka wht did yu sai?" Ken asked, eating his bread.
"Finish your bread first" she said, scrolling in her phone.
Ken finished eating his bread and he then look at her "you said i'm not late" he ask.
"Yeah you're not" Haruka said, she showed him the time in her phone it was 7:45 Am. "See"
"Chiho you little devil!!" Ken yelled at nobody in particular.
"Shut up!" Haruka said, Ken glare at her. "Stop glaring or no games" Ken quickly stop.
"Just because i don't have a phone" he muttered, Haruka quickly turn to him, Ken looked away.
"Hey guys!" Someone called out, they both turned, a girl with smDark shiny hair, cute face, short hair, wearing glasses, it was Yuki tanaka their childhood friend. "You're early today Ken" she said.
"Thanks to my dear little sister" Ken politely said, as if he wasn't yelling at her minutes ago, Haruka gave him a kick in the feet.
Ken stay silent keeping his polite smile. "Let's go to school" Haruka said, Ken, Haruka and Yuki walk together to school, when someome with a muscular body, red hair and a smirk called out.
"Hey Ken!!" It was Ryuji saito, he came running with his bag full of snacks. "You're early today" Ryuji said.
"Thanks to someone" Ken said, his eye brow twitch.
"Anyway did you do the biology homework Uchida sensei gave" Ryuji asked, to them all.
"We did" all three said together.
"Can you please give me to copy it i forgot" Ryuji begged to them, Yuki and Haruka sighed while Ken took his notebook out.
"Give it back before class" He said, Ryuji hugged him with a strong grip.
"BRO YOU'RE A LIFESAVER !" Ryuji yelled, Ken just push him away.
"You smell like pudding" Ken said, he walk beside Yuki. "Yuki....if you won't mind, would you like to study together" Ken asked, his cheeks were a bit pink.
Yuki nodded "Yeah i woul-".
"Then we should study together like friends!" Haruka interrupted, she walk between Yuki and Ken smiling innocently.
Ryuni just laugh at them "Ahahahaha! Love traingle" he said, and starts to sip a juice he took out from his bag.
"You're coming too!!" They said, Ryuji regreted his decision.They reached the school
Later that night Ken was peacefully sleeping in his room it was full of superhero manga, the window was open cold wind blew, Ken's right foot was near the window.
The night was pecefully suddenly a pale hand with a very sharp and long nail it touch Ken's foot and it's palm slowly grab it and starts went up and down as if it was scanning the foot. Suddenly Ken kick the blanket away. Snapped. The nail broke and it stucked in Ken's left foot.
"Ouch!" Ken woke up, the hand suddenly pull back, But ken caught a glimpse and he quickly got up and looked outside the window. Nothing was there except darkness and the full moon.
"Maybe a dream" Ken went back to sleep, the nail stuck in his foot slowly dug deeper until it was completely inside his foot.
Outside a Pale figure with two horn ws bowing to another pale figure with one horn. "I-I'm very sorry brother, please forgive me" The pale figure with two horn bowed his head to the ground, scared and trembling.
"You broke the rule of our clan so you have to die" The pale figure with one horn extended his hand and a red beam pierce the another pale figure head, he fell to the ground lifeless. The Pale figure sighs then the body of his brother starts to float. "Unworthy" he said, and he slowly flew to the sky with the dead body. He notice the broken nail in his brother's hand. "Weakling. His nail broke by a simple sleeping human's kick".
This was the night where it all began, the figure notice the broken nail but he didn't pay attention because his brother was 'weak' but it really wasn't the reason i got my real power but it was the reason i got many unique ability which made me different from other 'Eye' users. My name is Ken sato and this is my life, an extraordinary one.
