Chapter 4 - Chapter 3

As they stepped into the penthouse suite, Alessia's breath caught in her throat. The opulent decor, lavish furnishings, and breathtaking views of the city left her awestruck. She felt as though she had entered a different world, one of unparalleled luxury and sophistication.

Madam Suzy's voice broke the spell, "Go with her and rest, honey, before tonight's performance." She nodded toward the maid, who stood waiting with a discreet smile.

Alessia nodded, still feeling a bit dazed, and followed the maid to the room. As they walked, the maid's silent efficiency and the soft rustle of her uniform seemed to underscore the penthouse's hushed, exclusive atmosphere.

When they reached the room, Alessia's eyes widened in wonder. The space was a masterclass in understated elegance, with plush carpets, rich wood accents, and exquisite artwork adorning the walls. A stunning chandelier cast a warm, golden glow over the room, illuminating the plush bed and inviting sitting area.

For a moment, Alessia forgot about the performance, forgot about Madam Suzy, and forgot about her worries. All she could do was stand there, drinking in the beauty and luxury of her surroundings.

Alessia rested for a while, but before she knew it, Madam Suzy knocked on the door, her voice bright and cheerful. "Get ready, honey, it's time for the performance."

Madam Suzy walked into the room, carrying a stunning, floor-length gown in her hand. The dress shimmered and shined in the light, its intricate details and delicate patterns leaving Alessia breathless.

Alessia got up from the bed, taking the dress from Madam Suzy's hand. "Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Madam Suzy smiled, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Now, get ready. I'll be back to get you." With that, she turned and walked out of the room, giving Alessia her privacy.

Alessia looked down at the dress in her hand, feeling a mix of emotions. She was excited to perform, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She took a deep breath, pushing aside her doubts, and began to get ready for the performance.

As the evening wore on, a handful of esteemed guests began to arrive at the event. The air was electric with anticipation, and Madam Suzy's eyes sparkled with excitement as she mingled with the attendees.

"I heard Mr. Antonio is coming," Madam Suzy said, her voice low and impressed, as she turned to Mr. Raymond. "What did you do to get him to come?"

Mr. Raymond smiled, his expression confident and self-assured. "We've been business partners for some time now," he replied. " it's best he attends my event. After all, it's a night to remember."

Madam Suzy's eyes narrowed slightly, her gaze piercing as she studied Mr. Raymond's face. For a moment, Mr Raymond wondered if she had detected something beneath the surface, something that didn't quite add up.

But then, Madam Suzy's expression smoothed out, and she smiled graciously. "Of course, Mr. Raymond. I'm sure Mr. Antonio will be delighted to be here."
