Thanos' roar echoed across the cosmos, overpowering even the chanting of the Buddha in the ancient temple. Above the infinite illusions, Basang closed his eyes, and a cold glint flashed across his serene expression: "An unrepentant villain."

After speaking, the goddess turned and vanished.
Thanos panicked, reaching out to grab the edge of her cloak, desperate to reclaim her favor.

All he could do was watch her back disappear into the mist.

His anger burned like a wildfire. Thanos' eyes snapped open. Though his body had been nearly destroyed, his will and faith ignited the Infinity Gems with unimaginable power.
His body healed at a staggering speed—bones, organs, blood vessels, muscles—all restored in an instant.
He returned to his original form, naked, his Tyrant double swords shattered. Only the Infinity Gems remained in his grasp.
Power surged through him, countless times greater than before. He roared, releasing energy hundreds of times stronger than ever.

The planet exploded.
The planetary collapse mimicked the energy of a supernova. A black hole formed from the explosion, its gravitational pull ripping through space. Thanos, harnessing the black hole, allowed himself to be sucked in.
Salina and the others resisted the supernova-level energy, holding their positions. Their cloaks and hair swirled, golden particles burning along their bodies like fire.
The black hole—one of the universe's greatest wonders—formed before them. They did not pursue Thanos, knowing the other side of a black hole is a white hole, which expels matter elsewhere in the multiverse.
The process is instantaneous, but the exit point in another universe is unpredictable. Thanos had escaped to a parallel universe, and the three lost their chance to kill him.
Salina and Lisa exchanged glances. Basang's attack alone should have been enough to annihilate Thanos. To ensure safety, they had layered magical barriers to prevent escape. Yet the black hole's formation was entirely unexpected.
"Basan…" Lisa looked uncertain. Basang frowned slightly, not from guilt but from surprise.
Lisa noticed something and asked cautiously. Basang calmly explained:
"I cast the Heavenly Demon Subjugation. At that moment, Thanos' body and soul were melting. I sensed his life flicker, his soul fire nearly extinguished. But for some reason, it reignited—stronger than before. Under his unyielding faith, his flesh and blood were reborn, breaking through limits.

Salina and the other two nodded in understanding. They had witnessed the events themselves and knew Basang had no reason to lie.
The power of faith had manifested in Thanos—a pure, desperate desire to survive.
