Ah, and did I tell you it was in that incident that I used a gun? I almost died for real.
There's a room in Sung-min's house that has shelves of guns provided by the agency. It had those bullets that could pierce through monster skin.
It was for emergencies, I think. That's what they said but I wondered why they would give guns to Espers who utilize energy so freely.
Anyway, a crack opened up next to 'our' house and as soon as the system, AI defense, noticed it, a lockdown protocol ensued so I, who was the only one at home, could not go out.
But that meant the monsters couldn't come in either, since they wouldn't be able to break the glass, so I was safe.
Or so I thought.
There was a sneaky shadow inside the house already.
Among the dozens of monsters, there was a type that was exactly troublesome. Shadow.
It could take on the form of your biggest horror and even become the most terrifying being in existence and bullets don't work on it.
They'll just pass through it.
