"...So strong!" Arthur gritted his teeth and held on, but the monster's other tentacles were already starting to whip toward him.
Right then, Saitama happened to come to the beach with his disciple, Genos, to get some fresh air. Genos believed proper leisure was good for mental and physical health, so he practically dragged his teacher out of the house. They saw the ruined beach and the enormous monster locked in a power struggle with Sea King.
Saitama's brows knit slightly. "So the seaside environment got wrecked by this thing? It looks all slimy… disgusting." He seemed more annoyed that it was ruining the environment than anything else.
He took off his shoes, stepped barefoot onto the sand, and walked straight toward the monster. A tentacle as thick as a water barrel snapped toward him with a violent gust, trying to smash him like a fly.
Saitama didn't dodge. He just casually reached out and precisely caught the tip of the incoming tentacle. The force that could have shattered concrete vanished instantly in his hand. Then he grabbed the tentacle and yanked backward hard!
An irresistible, terrifying power transmitted through the tentacle into the monster's main body. That enormous creature weighing dozens of tons was actually pulled off balance by what looked like a casual tug. It crashed onto its side with a thunderous slam, spraying sand and seawater everywhere. The tentacles wrapped around the trident loosened reflexively and released it.
The monster let out an enraged shriek. It struggled to flip itself back over, its massive maw lined with sharp teeth opening wide. A surge of pitch-black ink blasted toward Saitama, reeking with a thick fishy stench. The ink didn't just block vision completely it was also highly corrosive.
The ink splashed all over Saitama.
He stood there without even blinking. The black sludge ran down his smooth scalp and body. Aside from staining his clothes, it did absolutely nothing.
"It stinks…" he muttered, disgusted, wiping his face.
When the ink cleared, the monster seemed to be waiting to see the tiny creature get dissolved only to find Saitama standing there perfectly fine, walking toward it.
The monster seemed to feel instinctive fear and tried to retract its mouthparts.
But Saitama had already stepped in. His fist shot forward like a fired cannon shell, punching straight into the still-closing, tooth-filled mouth and deep inside its throat!
"Pshk!"
A muffled impact sounded from within the monster's body. All its movements froze instantly. Countless tentacles thrashed and convulsed violently for a moment… and then went limp, collapsing onto the beach as its life presence vanished rapidly.
Sea King Arthur took the chance to pull back his trident. He walked up and poked the corpse with the tip, confirming it was dead beyond doubt. Then he looked up at Saitama, who was washing the ink off in the surf. Arthur's expression was complicated, and in the end he could only sigh in amazement.
"This thing's vitality was tougher than the Trench… and you killed it with one punch."
Genos, meanwhile, seriously recorded his observations. "When facing an enemy with highly corrosive secretions, Sensei chose the strategy of directly attacking its vulnerable internal area. This effectively avoided external entanglement and achieved a one-strike kill. Worth learning."
Saitama scrubbed for a long time, but still felt like the smell wouldn't come off. He complained, "Genos, next time don't bring me to the beach. It's too much trouble."
Midtown Manhattan, an accident in a cutting-edge energy laboratory triggered massive chaos. A device meant to stabilize a new type of cosmic energy suddenly overloaded and exploded, but the explosion produced no flames or shockwave.
Instead, it birthed an extremely unstable energy life-form, constantly flickering and shifting with blue-white light!
