From above, carrying a will that could shatter mountains and pierce stars, Saitama's fist slammed down on the alien leader's head—covered in dark-gold armor plating!
"Serious Punches."
Time seemed to freeze in that instant.
The moment fist met armor, there was no earthshaking explosion—only a soft crack, like porcelain breaking.
Ka-cha.
Then, centered on Saitama's fist, that seemingly indestructible dark-gold carapace—so tough that even missiles could barely leave a mark—rippled outward like a stone dropped into still water…
A silent wave.
That was the carapace's molecular structure collapsing under overwhelming force.
Where the ripple spread, the armor disintegrated soundlessly into dust!
Saitama's fist pierced straight through the leader's skull without resistance. That terrifying power surged through its body, instantly destroying every trace of vitality!
The alien leader's enormous frame shuddered. Its raised arms sagged uselessly. The scarlet compound eyes went completely dark. The violent energy force field around its body flickered like a dying candle and snuffed out. The three energy cores on its back popped with a muffled sound, bursting into scattered, faint-blue sparks that drifted away and vanished.
Its mountain-like body lost all support. After Saitama pulled his fist back, it dropped to its knees—then toppled like a collapsing peak, slamming into the ground with a heavy crash and kicking up a sky of dust.
The alien leader had fallen!
The instant the leader died, an invisible psychic wave swept through the entire underground stronghold—spreading even to the battlefield above! Every alien beast that had been attacking like a mindless berserker suddenly stiffened, as if someone had hit pause. The savage bloodlust in their scarlet eyes drained away, replaced by confusion and blank disarray—like machines that had lost their core command and operating instructions.
"Now! Destroy the core!" Steve shouted, seizing this once-in-a-lifetime opening. He hurled his vibranium shield with all his strength toward the massive central energy device! The shield spun, slicing cleanly into a crucial energy-transfer node and bursting out a spray of blinding sparks!
"Stop it!" Natasha had already climbed onto the device's side. She planted several high-explosive charges at key junctions along the energy conduits and slammed the detonator!
"JARVIS, max power—blow it apart!" In the air, Tony Stark poured every last bit of remaining firepower—including an arc pulse blast—straight into the device's core vortex!
Boom boom boom boom—!!!
Deafening explosions overlapped one after another! With the leader gone, the core device no longer had its will to stabilize it or coordinate its energy flow. Under attacks from inside and out, it finally couldn't hold!
The spinning energy vortex jolted—then stalled.
And in the next instant, it swelled like a supernova!
A dazzling blue-white light swallowed everything. A violent tide of chaotic energy surged through the core zone like an out-of-control flood, shredding and erasing the surrounding metal framework, the incubation nests, and even the alien beasts' broken bodies—now unstable and unsupported—into nothingness!
When the blast's glare and dust finally faded, the core area was a wreck.
The enormous energy device had been reduced to twisted, charred remains, smoke curling up in thin streams. The alien beasts, cut off from their energy source, collapsed like puppets with their strings severed. Their hard shells dulled and turned brittle, and all signs of life vanished completely.
