According to the manual, Christina was only ranked S-Class 11!
Before coming here, Dragon-level monster Meowth had studied detailed strategies for the Association's top ten.
Anything below rank ten? Not worth his time.
"I didn't expect the one ranked S-Class 11 to have this level of strength. Looks like the Association severely underestimated you."
Meowth smiled leisurely.
As one of the Monster Association's core cadres, his position ranked higher than Gouketsu's!
"A monster? Dragon-level? It's been a long time since I fought. I don't care about rankings. If you obediently return to prison now, I might spare your life."
Mosquito Girl Christina smiled charmingly.
That smile made many of the monsters dizzy with infatuation.
"Heh, you're the first one bold enough to speak to me like that. Not bad. Eat these monster cells and join the Association. You'll be my right hand."
Meowth sneered, tossing several monster cells before her.
"Monster cells?"
Christina chuckled coldly.
Pathetic.
She was already a complete evolved form. To her, monster cells were trash.
Crunch!
She casually stomped them into paste.
"Kill her!"
Meowth's face turned icy as he gave the order.
At once, the monsterized prisoners howled and charged again.
"Attack!"
"With so many of us, how could we fear one woman?"
"Kill her!"
The narrow prison corridor was only a few meters wide, packed tight with screaming monsters.
"Ants will always be ants. No matter how many gather, they are still ants."
Christina smiled faintly.
Her massive golden lance rose easily in one hand.
Stabs so fast they blurred.
Slash, slash, slash!
Countless spear lights burst forth like crashing waves.
Blood splattered wildly.
The monsters in the front ranks were shredded into pieces in an instant, dying where they stood.
In only a few breaths, dozens of corpses piled up.
For nearly a minute, the brainless charge continued.
When the slaughter ended, a mountain of corpses rose beneath her feet.
Blood flowed like rivers. The prison's stone floors were awash in red.
Hundreds of bodies bore witness to Christina's unmatched dominance.
Her golden armor was dyed crimson.
No monster dared step forward again.
They were terrified.
No matter how they rushed, Christina was immovable—like a reef in the sea, unshaken.
"You… impossible! How can an S-Class 11 withstand so many of us?"
"She's a demon!"
"Don't kill me! I surrender! I'll go back to my cell!"
The prisoners screamed in panic.
Tap, tap.
Her golden boots splashed through the sticky blood as she walked forward like a queen from the abyss.
But she ignored the cowards.
Her eyes fixed on one thing—
Meowth.
He had vanished.
But Christina felt it clearly—eyes watching from the shadows, waiting for the moment to strike.
"Heh, changing tactics? Hiding to launch a sneak attack?"
She raised her shield and lance, her golden wings folding at her back.
Paladin Christina stood tall.
The prisoners lost their will and scurried back into their cells.
Bang!
A violent impact struck her shield, sparks flying as she skidded back nearly ten meters.
Five deep claw marks scored the supposedly indestructible alloy.
A lithe figure landed on the beams above—Meowth!
Too fast!
His speed was beyond most S-Class heroes.
But he was bleeding.
A gaping wound slashed across his chest, nearly severing him in half.
Blood dripped steadily.
Meowth's slit pupils locked onto the razor edge of her shield.
Her reflexes had been too quick.
"Scared? Looks like the Monster Association's cadres aren't much after all."
Christina's smile made hearts tremble.
"You… know of the Monster Association?"
Meowth narrowed his eyes.
"Of course. Long ago, didn't one of your cadres—was it Gyukus or someone—send my master an invitation?"
Christina laughed.
"Master?"
Meowth's face tensed.
Could this woman serve someone even stronger?
Why hadn't the hero manual mentioned it?
And her strength—far beyond rank 11, easily among the top few!
Damn the Association.
How could they not even know their own heroes?
"Fine. You're quite cute. My master's house is still short one pet cat. I'll take you back and raise you properly. How about it? Isn't that a good deal?"
Christina smiled sweetly.
A cat-like monster like him—wouldn't it make a fine pet?
Meowth nearly spat blood.
He was a Monster Association cadre! Even Black Sperm and Hellhound respected him.
And now?
This woman wanted to make him her master's pet?!
"Die, woman! Meowwwwww!"
He screeched, sound waves blasting outward.
Prisoners clutched their heads as blood poured from their ears.
Even Christina staggered for a moment, head ringing.
Meowth's fur bristled.
His form changed completely.
No longer humanoid.
Now—
A massive, monstrous cat.
Like a black lightning bolt, he lunged straight for her throat!
