Chapter 253 - Chapter 253

Iaian shouted as blood sprayed wildly from Okamaitachi's chest. His wide eyes dimmed as he fell unwillingly to the ground.

The treasured sword in his hand shattered into fragments.

Behind him, Dragon-level monster Meowth stood tall, blood dripping from his long, sharp claws.

"Tsk, tsk. The pure blood of a true martial artist—what a delicious taste."

He licked the crimson from his claws, laughing wildly.

The prisoners who witnessed this were all shaken.

The three disciples of Atomic Samurai had just become S-Class heroes, and when working together, their strength was no less than veteran S-Class.

None of the prisoners ever dared resist them.

But now… the trio had been crushed before they even joined forces.

"Damn it! This is the Hero Association's prison! You won't escape!"

Iaian roared and slammed the emergency alarm. The piercing sirens blared throughout the prison.

Meowth's eyes turned cold. He had no intention of facing multiple strong S-Class at once. Though confident in himself, just thinking of the top-ranked S-Class left him uneasy.

"Then you can join your brothers."

He sneered.

Iaian looked down in shock as cracks spread across his blade.

Crack!

The long sword broke apart. His armor split. Blood gushed out. His eyes lost focus as he fell.

"I'll eat it! I'll eat it!"

"Don't kill me!"

"I'll become a monster! Hahaha!"

The prisoners went mad, rushing from their cells, scrambling for the monster cells.

Soon, the entire prison erupted into chaos.

Almost all capable inmates devoured the cells, transforming into monsters.

Dozens reached Demon-level in an instant.

"As expected… a prison is the perfect hunting ground."

Meowth sneered.

This attack by the Monster Association targeted two main places—the Super Fight Tournament and the prison.

After all, only those with true strength were locked up here.

"Hm?"

Just as Meowth was about to lead the monsters away, Phoenix Man walked deeper into the prison.

His steps echoed through the dark corridor.

"Garou, we came specifically for you."

He stopped before a special alloy cell, built by Metal Knight. Only a small slot allowed food trays to be pushed inside.

Inside, a mocking laugh echoed.

"Garou?"

Meowth frowned.

"Yes, Lord Meowth. Garou is someone our King personally wants. His strength is immense, and he already leans toward our side."

Phoenix Man explained.

Slash!

Meowth's claws tore through the alloy. The reinforced prison shattered, revealing a bloodied figure.

The martial artist Garou, nailed to the wall by his limbs, his neck bound by an explosive collar.

Bang and Bomb had been merciless—perhaps out of tough love, perhaps to suppress his threat.

Even wounded, his face showed no pain.

His lips curled in a grin. One of his eyes was scarlet, his hair streaked crimson.

Like a caged beast.

"This is Child Emperor's bomb collar. If you don't want to die with me, you'd better leave."

Garou sneered coldly at Meowth.

"Heh."

Meowth chuckled. His claws flashed.

In a blur, the collar was severed and hurled far away.

Boom!

The explosion shredded a group of unlucky monsters, blood and flesh scattering.

"So fast?!"

Garou was stunned, now reassessing the feline monster before him.

Meowth's claws ripped through the restraints, freeing him.

Garou collapsed to his knees, his body at its limits.

"Not bad. Looks like our King judged right. You alone are worth a thousand trash outside."

Meowth smirked. "Phoenix Man, take him. Strong enemies are coming."

"I'll never join the Monster Association!"

Garou snarled, glaring at Meowth.

"You will. You crave strength, just like us. Hahaha! Take him, Phoenix Man!"

Meowth laughed madly.

Phoenix Man didn't waste time. His talons pierced Garou's shoulders, lifting him up. With a powerful beat of his wings, he soared skyward, carrying Garou away.

Moments later, the excited prisoners rushing for the gates froze.

A beautiful figure stood in their way, cold-faced, radiating untouchable authority.

Mosquito Girl.

Christina.

"Too bad. Your prison break is over. Return to your cells, and I'll pretend I didn't see anything."

She said coldly, glancing at them.

But inside, she was annoyed.

She and Fubuki had played rock-paper-scissors to decide who'd deal with this mess. She lost.

So, here she was.

"Who the hell are you?"

"A woman thinks she can block us?"

"Kill her! She's mine!"

The prisoners, locked away too long, erupted like beasts.

And Christina was undeniably beautiful—golden armor, a massive shield and lance, her figure exuding knightly power.

But to them, she was just a woman.

"Charge!"

"Heh."

Christina sneered. Ignorance breeds arrogance.

She raised her massive shield—

And slammed forward with a Mountain-Crushing Tackle!

Boom!!

More than ten monsters, all Tiger-level and above, were smashed like meat patties.

From the gate outward, a thirty-meter-long trail of blood stretched. None survived.

It had been a long time since she fought.

Perhaps they'd forgotten what she could do.

Mosquito Girl Christina stood amidst the carnage, unmoving, like a rock in the tide.

And at that moment, Dragon-level Meowth emerged from the depths, his slit pupils widening slightly in surprise.

"Paladin Christina… so this is the strength of one ranked around the teens in S-Class?"
