"My lord, here are the intruders that we caught," the captain said, his right fist was on his chest as he lowered his head to Dhein.
But the king's attention was fixed on one masked assassin. He knew this versatile suit very well.
The masked assassin and the little dragon were with five other people, they were all kneeling before him, fearing for their lives.
"Rise," Dhein commanded.
As the captives rose to their feet, Dhein himself got up from his throne and walked down towards them.
And when he got close enough, he gently folded back the hood over the assassin's head and removed Shina's mask.
She looked like a child who was holding back her tears. But even in the messed up state she was in, Dhein couldn't help but admire her beauty.
He had a lot of questions, but for now, he had one thing in mind.
Dhein hugged Shina tightly and she started sobbing on his shoulder. Everyone stared at them with shocked expressions.
