The light was still waving its tiny, glowing hands, as if warning Zyric to stay away.
The Fat Insect said, "It seems she does not like you."
"And that it's a girl, how do you know?" Zyric asked the fat insect.
"I am a beast, and it's impossible for me not to recognize a beast," the fat insect said to Zyric.
"Anyway, it will take some time for her to be born. She is preparing now. She doesn't have a body or anything yet. It will take time for every single part of her to be formed. You are so weak, kid. You shouldn't help anyone like that," the fat insect said to Zyric.
"But if I hadn't helped you, you would have been killed," Zyric said to the fat insect.
"Oh, and who helps their own death? If my mood had turned bad and I'd eaten you..." the fat insect said.
"But you didn't, right?" Zyric said to the Fat Insect.
"Yeah, yeah, alright. Now learn what will help you make yourself stronger- I do not know so much about human beings." the fat insect said.
That small, chubby insect was ordering Zyric around, and Zyric felt strange. He couldn't understand whether he was the master or the insect was.
"If I need to know a lot of other things about the Fuzan Vault, no one else can tell me except the Monster Tamer Organization. But I've already left the Monster Tamer School, so going to the organization is out of the question. How do I join again?" Zyric thought to himself, and gradually drifted off to sleep.
The first thing Zyric saw when he awoke the following morning was his sister standing before him with a weird object in hand.
"Hey, why are you standing?" Zyric said to his sister.
She did not even realize her bleeding feet. She looked at the anxious face of her brother.
"Are you crazy? Sit down first, Diana," said Zyric, and helped her on the stretcher.
She still stared at him despite sitting down.
"I know I am good-looking, now stop staring, and I am still your brother, remember that, said Zyric to his sister.
The next moment, his sister hugged him.
"Promise me you'll always stay with me," Diana said to Zyric.
"I will," Zyric vowed, putting his hand on hers.
"By the way, how did you save me?" Diana asked Zyric.
"It is a long story..., and I do not know whether to tell you or not. Anyway, in the two years I was gone, I was training. I also tamed a dangerous beast, not much, just normally tamed it, even though I didn't have a Fuzan Vault. Here, look," Zyric said.
Then Zyric summoned the fat insect from his Fuzan Vault. "This is the beast."
"But where did it come from, without a Fuzan Vault device?" Diana said in surprise, taking the fat insect in her hand.
"Oh man, how does she already know I generated a Fuzan Vault? I did, but the way I just summoned this beast, the fat insect, was also without a Fuzan Vault device. Maybe it's some skill of my Fuzan Vault, or what; I am not sure. And so far as I know, this is something that only I can do and not anybody." Zyric said to himself.
"No, no, it was just wandering out a moment ago. It was sitting on my back. It mostly sits on my shoulder," Zyric said to his sister.
The fat insect moved and sat on Diana's shoulder too. Diana petted him for a long time, and the fat insect enjoyed being with Diana a lot.
In an instant, some people arrived there, Dr. Edwin, Dr. Wade, Dr. Hazel, and one more man whom Zyric knew well: Principal William. Zyric quickly called the fat insect back into his Fuzan Vault so that no one noticed it.
"Principal William, you!" Zyric said, looking at him.
Principal William was the principal of the Monster Tamer School, and his presence here meant that something big must have happened.
Zyric was taken aback on seeing the principal. Like the others, the principal also had a very bad impression of him and might humiliate him again.
"Dr. Diana is fine now," Dr. Edwin said after examining her carefully. Everyone was relieved after the complete examination. Diana was completely healed and just required time to regain her strength.
"But your brother deserves recognition. In that darkness, where even beast tamers were afraid to go, he went alone to save you and brought you back alive. Yes, boy, you are worth the name of brother," said Dr. Edwin to Zyric.
"By the way, you aware of what he did?" Dr. Edwin asked Diana.
"W... what did he do?" Diana asked nervously, glancing at Zyric, worried that he might have done something wrong. As he was gone for two years.
"No, he didn't do anything wrong. Your brother generated a Fuzan Vault--just yesterday," Dr. Edwin said.
Diana looked stunned and turned toward Zyric.
"Wait a minute, you... what are you saying? He's still a child, at most fifteen years old, and you're saying he generated a Fuzan Vault? That's impossible. Only a handful of people in history have done it at that age," Diana said, before she could continue further.
"Dr. Diana, please calm down. Whatever he did, he did for you. The Fuzan Vault he..." Dr. Edwin paused. "All right. It would be best if you first went to the school and saw the camera footage. Then you'll understand what really happened and what Zyric did."
The moment Dr. Edwin finished speaking, Diana suddenly stood up, not with fear, but with sparkling excitement in her eyes. The impossible thing her brother had done... she wanted to see it with her own eyes.
Zyric stared at her, confused, yet everything was cleared by the face of Diana; she had no fear, but ought to have been proud.
