Creed used his incredible speed to shake off Dodoria. After landing somewhere Dodoria couldn't see, Creed placed the child inside a cave and told everyone to suppress their ki.
Dodoria wasn't just slow, his perception was terrible too. Without a scouter, he couldn't find Creed's group at all. He could only hover in the sky, scanning around.
Remembering Frieza's orders, he grew more and more anxious. In desperation, he began blasting the ground wildly, trying to level the mountain range and force the intruders to reveal themselves.
Right before the shockwave slammed into the ground, Creed grabbed the child and Gohan and flashed up into the air, appearing even higher than Dodoria. Goku was a bit slower, but he still escaped the blast zone and arrived beside Creed.
"Goku," Creed said calmly. "You can cut loose here. Go—kill him."
Goku had been holding back the urge to fight for a long time. Before Creed even finished speaking, Goku rushed forward.
From above, he drove a fist into Dodoria's back and smashed him straight down into the water.
The sudden strike completely stunned Dodoria. But as one of Frieza's commanders, he wasn't helpless—he quickly adjusted underwater, swam to a nearby shore, and lifted his head.
A man he'd never seen before stood about a dozen meters ahead, waiting for him to come ashore.
Dodoria had never met Goku, but based on his appearance and the intel Vegeta had sent back from Earth via scouters, he could tell, this was a Saiyan from Earth.
And his battle power shouldn't exceed Vegeta's.
Killing him should be easy.
Burning with rage, Dodoria raised his hand without hesitation. Golden ki blasts fired nonstop from his palm.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions roared, flames shot into the sky, and the entire plain trembled. Everything ahead was instantly scorched into charred ruins.
Just as Dodoria thought he'd succeeded
Goku suddenly appeared behind him.
Dodoria reacted instantly. He stopped firing, twisted his body, and swung his thick arm backward. That kind of arm could easily pierce a Namekian's chest.
But against Goku, it felt like whipping a wet towel, soft and powerless.
Goku didn't even look. He grabbed Dodoria's arm, then hopped lightly upward, catching Dodoria's other arm as well.
Then he wrenched back hard.
Dodoria was a power-type fighter with poor flexibility. With both arms controlled, a sharp pain surged through him like they were about to be snapped off. His face twisted, and he screamed again and again.
Worse, no matter how he strained, he still couldn't break free from Goku's grip.
Watching from above, the Namekian child couldn't help blurting out, "Amazing…"
That fat monster had slaughtered the three strongest young warriors in their village like nothing… yet in front of Goku, he didn't even have the strength to fight back.
Everything happening today was beyond anything the child had ever imagined.
Creed chuckled. "Saiyans are a race that grows stronger the more they fight. The stronger the enemy, the stronger they become—that's the trait of a warrior race. And Dodoria's been by Frieza's side all this time. He got arrogant and neglected training long ago. He's already become pathetic."
At this moment, Dodoria was drenched in sweat. Veins bulged on his neck, his arms were nearly numb—yet he didn't dare relax even a little.
If he loosened up, his arms would be broken.
But if this continued, sooner or later he'd run out of strength and die here.
His face turned red, his eyes nearly popping out.
"Wait, Saiyan," Dodoria gritted out. "If you let me go, I can tell you a secret. A secret about your planet—something even Vegeta doesn't know."
Goku said coldly, "I don't want to hear it. I just want to kill you."
Just as he was about to snap Dodoria's arms—
Creed suddenly appeared at his side and pressed down on his hand. "Let him speak."
Since Creed said so, Goku could only loosen his grip. With Goku's speed and strength, there was no way Dodoria could escape anyway. If he tried anything, Goku could just kill him again.
Freed, Dodoria stumbled forward a few steps. His arms trembled uncontrollably, still numb. After barely catching his breath, he turned back and said, "You won't kill me after I finish talking… right?"
Creed's voice sank. "Stop talking nonsense. If you don't speak, I'll kill you right now."
Even though he didn't move, the pressure he gave Dodoria felt like death itself. Dodoria didn't dare stall and blurted out, "Planet Vegeta wasn't destroyed by a meteor like Frieza-sama said. It was destroyed by Frieza-sama himself!"
As he spoke, he kept backing away. "If Saiyans are scattered, they aren't a threat to Frieza-sama. But if Saiyans unite, it's different. And some Saiyans have already evolved into super warriors like you—and their numbers are increasing. If a battle race like yours becomes too powerful, you'll never stay obedient like before…"
Hearing this, Goku's fists clenched so tightly they shook. Even Creed beside him could feel the fury pouring off him.
Even though Goku had been sent to Earth when he was young, that planet was still where he was born.
No matter what—he was still a pure-blooded Saiyan.
To avoid being killed, Dodoria flew up into the air and spoke carefully, "So Frieza-sama decided back then that he had to guard against you. That's why he destroyed Planet Vegeta and wiped out all Saiyans. Only you and Vegeta weren't on the planet at the time… looks like this hit you hard. I'll use this chance to go back and report to Frieza-sama—"
Just as he was about to fly away—
A terrifying aura erupted from below, instantly stripping Dodoria of his ability to move.
"Don't misunderstand," Goku said slowly. "It's just that… I can't forgive what you've done. Kamehame—"
The next instant, a dazzling white beam tore across the sky.
Dodoria screamed as his body was completely melted away within the beam.
Creed lifted the corner of his mouth into a faint smile.
He'd originally been worried Goku might not be able to handle Dodoria. Now it looked like he'd been overthinking it.
Goku's training inside the spaceship had clearly paid off—at the very least, he could easily crush one of Frieza's commanders.
