Chapter 349 - Chapter 349

Zarbon's kick not only failed to intimidate the Namekians, it completely enraged them.

The other thin, tall elder roared and fired a purple shockwave, but Zarbon easily deflected it. The blast missed him and instead turned the low-ranking soldier behind him into ash.

Zarbon leapt into the air. A pale pink shockwave crashed down like a cannonball.

Boom!

The elder screamed and collapsed to the ground, his body looking scorched as he completely lost consciousness.

Even Gohan couldn't stay calm after seeing that. He grit his teeth, ready to charge down and fight them to the death. Sensing his rage, Creed patted his shoulder and said softly, "Calm down, Gohan. Don't you want Piccolo and Krillin to be revived? These guys aren't opponents you can handle. If you go out now, you'll just throw your life away. Better to preserve your strength and slowly grind them down."

With two companions killed in succession, the elder in the middle trembled all over, yet still protected the two children behind him. He gritted his teeth and asked, "What is your purpose in collecting the seven Dragon Balls?"

Frieza smiled. "I only have a small wish—eternal life."

The elder took a deep breath, as if making up his mind, and shouted, "Evil people like you—I'd rather die than hand the Dragon Balls over to you!"

"You're really stubborn… but…" Frieza glanced at the two children in his arms. "If these two little brats die, will you still be this stubborn?"

Just then, three young Namekians appeared in the sky not far away. The scouters showed that even combined, their total battle power was only around ten thousand.

No wonder, Namek wasn't a warrior race.

But seeing them return, the elder relaxed a little, thinking their strength could drive the invaders away.

They overestimated themselves, and underestimated Frieza's army.

After seeing their numbers, Zarbon and Dodoria couldn't even be bothered to move. Their low-ranking soldiers swarmed forward and tied the three young Namekians down.

The elder immediately realized how Frieza's forces were finding scattered village Dragon Balls across the vast planet.

It was those devices worn by the ear—machines like monocle glasses—used to detect ki.

With that thought, he released the children. Taking advantage of Dodoria's inattention, he fired a white shockwave from his fingertip and instantly destroyed Dodoria's scouter.

Such a weak attack did no damage, so Dodoria didn't care at first, he only turned around and slowly approached.

The elder rose into the air and kept firing white beams nonstop.

But his target wasn't their bodies.

It was the scouters on every single one of them.

He knew his attacks couldn't hurt them. But if he could destroy their scouters, they wouldn't be able to locate the next village.

Even slow-reacting Dodoria finally noticed and was about to rush up and crush the elder into paste—when Frieza stopped him.

By Frieza's order, Dodoria was told to kill the three young Namekians first.

Dodoria was furious, but he had no choice. He poured his anger onto them.

The three Namekians, already exhausted from fighting the low-ranking soldiers, couldn't resist at all once Dodoria arrived.

Dodoria pierced one of them straight through the chest with his arm, then immediately fired another shockwave and blew the other two into fragments.

Seeing the three strongest warriors on their side slaughtered so easily, the elder's heart sank.

He hovered in midair, trembling all over, especially with two children still down below.

Frieza smiled. "You understand now, don't you? Resistance and running are useless. You destroyed our important scouters, so hand over the Dragon Ball as compensation."

The elder had no choice. He landed, looked back at the two children, and grit his teeth. "I can give you the Dragon Ball. But you can't lay a hand on the children."

Frieza didn't reply. He only wore a strange smile.

Even so, the elder had no way out. If he refused, all three of them would die.

He turned and walked into the house, took out the Six-Star Dragon Ball, and tossed it to Frieza.

Frieza still wasn't satisfied.

"How troublesome," he said lazily. "Fine, I'll give you one more chance. Tell me the locations of the other two Dragon Balls as well."

"Don't joke with me!" the elder roared. "Even if we Namekians die, we will never betray our friends! I already gave you the Dragon Ball, leave this place at once!"

Frieza said flatly, "How boring. Do all the people on this planet value their companions so much? Then I'll just kill you and the children together."

Before the elder could speak, Dodoria smashed a fist into his face. The elder rolled backward, only stopping when he slammed into the wall.

The two children were terrified and didn't know what to do. Their legs trembled. They wanted to run, but couldn't move.

Dodoria didn't give them any chance.

A laser cannon shot out

One of the children was blown into pieces.

As Dodoria reached for the other child, planning to tear him apart, a violent pain suddenly exploded in his head.

His whole body flew out and slammed into the house wall, getting buried in the rubble.

Even Frieza didn't understand what had just happened.

Just now, Creed had held back the furious Gohan and Goku, then dashed out himself.

With one kick, he sent Dodoria flying.

At the same time, he snatched up the remaining child and shot into the distance.

Goku and Gohan immediately followed behind him.

Frieza raised his head, watching their retreating backs, and said slowly, "Judging by how they look… they don't seem to be Namekians."

Zarbon said, "Their speed is extremely fast, and their battle power is high. Who are they?"

Frieza didn't answer.

His eyes narrowed.

Boom!

A massive explosion erupted ahead. The mountain range blocking his line of sight was blasted into countless shards of rock.

Dodoria was completely dazed from the kick. Crawling out of the ruins, he only sat there rubbing his head.

Frieza looked at him and instantly grew furious, shouting, "Dodoria! What are you doing!? Hurry up and chase them!"

Only then did Dodoria shoot into the air.

But Creed's speed was absurdly fast. Gohan was also being dragged along by Goku as they flew.

Even if Dodoria pushed himself to the limit, he still couldn't catch up.

Creed didn't intend to stop. He wanted to bring the child somewhere relatively safe, get him out of the battlefield, then turn back to deal with Dodoria.

And he could also feel it—

Vegeta should be nearby.
