Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – The Last KO

Hayuki (thinking): "Damn… this isn't going well at all… I thought I'd be able to beat him quickly… but he's tougher than I expected… well, not for nothing he's the champion."

Antonio starts hitting Hayuki with a flurry of powerful jabs, which Hayuki manages to block.

Antonio: "Great resistance, I'll give you that… but if all you do is dodge and defend, you'll never win."

Hayuki: "Don't worry, I'm just giving you a slight advantage before I kick your ass hahaha."

Antonio: "You think so? Well, let's see if you can handle this."

Antonio attempts a hook but changes it at the last second, landing a low kick that briefly destabilizes Hayuki. Antonio takes advantage of that brief moment to throw a powerful jab straight at Hayuki, then hits him in the side with another punch, and follows up with a massive uppercut to the face, knocking out one of his teeth.

But Antonio doesn't stop—he corners Hayuki and starts landing knee strikes to his face and head, each one harder than the last, even striking his ribs with such force that one breaks.

Hayuki (thinking): "Damn… I'm losing strength… if this keeps up, I'll lose before the first round is even over."

Commentator: "Watch out, it looks like Hayuki is in serious trouble against the champion's devastating strikes. Could this be his downfall?"

Coach Steve: "HAYUKI, DON'T GIVE UP, HOLD ON!"

Hayuki's vision begins to blur, but at the last moment, he manages to recover just enough to land a strong punch straight to Antonio's stomach, pushing him back a few meters.

Antonio: "Well, what do you think of that, huh?"

Hayuki: "Ehehehe… you just tickled me, that's all you've got? Hahaha."

Antonio: "I see you've got jokes too. Do you realize you've turned into a fountain of blood?"

END OF ROUND ONE

Commentator: "Incredible! Despite the champion's explosive offense, Hayuki has managed to survive until the end of the first round. What fighting spirit, ladies and gentlemen! This match is full of surprises."

Crowd:

"You did well, kid!"

"Keep going, you're the best!"

"Hayuki, you've got a dumb face!"

"Antonio's kicking your ass, huh?"

Hayuki: "Ah, go to hell. If you're so eager to talk, why don't you come and say it to my face, losers."

Hayuki (muttering): "What a bunch of cowards."

Hayuki heads to his corner.

Hayuki: "Tell me, Coach, how am I doing? Pretty good, right? I'm showing Antonio what I'm made of, huh? At this rate, next round I should be able to—"

Steve: "If I'm being honest, I expected a lot more from you, Hayuki. We trained so hard, damn it… we made so many sacrifices, and yet you're clearly struggling against him…"

Hayuki: "Huh?"

Coach Steve: "He's turned your face into a mask of blood. Your nose is broken, your mouth is busted, one eye is blackened, and you're bleeding heavily from your head. Damn it, this is not good at all… it's like all that training was a complete waste of time…"

Hayuki: "But… how…"

Coach Steve: "Relax, relax… whatever happens, it'll be fine. You've still managed to block most of his strikes… more or less… Now you need to trick him with a surprise attack, and with a bit of luck, we might just win that damn title. So give it everything you've got, and don't fail. CLEAR?"

Hayuki: "Yes… clear."

Hayuki (thinking): "So Coach doesn't believe in me, huh? Fine, I'll show him how wrong he is. Let's see if he'll still say we wasted our time."

"Things aren't looking good… I thought I had that bastard in my grasp… Anyway, calm down. I can still win. I must win. There's no other option—I have to win, no matter what."

Antonio: "So, what do you say? You giving up?"

Hayuki: "You'd like that, wouldn't you? Hahaha, I'm not the type to quit so easily, buddy."

Antonio: "I mean, I was trying to spare you a trip to the hospital, but apparently you just can't avoid it, huh?"

Hayuki: "Funny."

Referee: "Ready?"

Hayuki and Antonio: "Ready."

Referee: "Start round two!"

Commentator: "Here we go, ladies and gentlemen! The second round of this fantastic fight begins. Despite the injuries and blows taken, Hayuki doesn't seem willing to back down, while Antonio looks fresh as a rose. The match seems almost decided, but never say never—let's enjoy this second round, and may the best man win!"

START OF ROUND TWO

Hayuki (thinking): "I hate to admit it, but Antonio's right… if I keep defending, I'll get nowhere. I need to go on the offensive, but if I don't finish it quickly, I'll get KO'd in one hit. I need to distract him, take him down, and try to submit him—because knocking him out is almost impossible."

Antonio: "What is it, finally realized you have no hope against me and decided to quit?"

Hayuki: "In your dreams, buddy."

Hayuki (thinking): "It's all or nothing."

Hayuki charges at Antonio with full force, aiming a powerful punch. Antonio easily dodges and counters with a devastating punch.

Antonio: "You're finished."

Hayuki: "You wish."

Hayuki grabs Antonio's arm and locks it in a submission hold, trying to break it. Antonio doesn't give in and stays on his feet, but can't break free as Hayuki keeps squeezing tighter.

Coach Steve: "GOOD JOB, HAYUKI!"

Commentator: "Amazing! Hayuki has managed to lock the champion in a submission hold! Let's see how our champion escapes this!"

Hayuki: "What do you think? Got you in trouble, huh? Hahaha, you thought you already had the win in the bag, but guess what…"

Antonio: "This is your best move? Pathetic."

To everyone's surprise, Antonio lifts Hayuki clean off the ground despite the submission hold. With incredible strength, he slams Hayuki's head into the cage wall with monstrous force.

Coach Steve: "OHHHH NOOOOO!"

Commentator: "BRUTAL HIT FOR HAYUKI! The champion just lifted him and slammed him against the cage with incredible power!"

Hayuki: "Da… damn…"

His vision blurs again from the impact, but Hayuki refuses to let go of Antonio's arm.

Antonio: "So that's how you want to play it? Fine, you asked for it."

Antonio repeatedly slams Hayuki's head against the cage, harder each time, over and over again without stopping.

Coach Steve: "DAMN…"

Crowd: "Holy shit…"

"What's he doing?"

"He's gonna kill him like that!"

Hayuki slowly starts losing consciousness, his grip weakening, but Antonio keeps smashing his head into the cage with merciless brutality.

Antonio: "So? Are you ready to give up now?"

Hayuki: "No…"

Antonio: "Alright, let's see if you can handle this."

Antonio lifts Hayuki one last time and smashes him into the cage even harder, finally breaking the hold—but Hayuki is still not KO'd.

Crowd:

"Hayuki, quit!"

"It's not worth it!"

"If you keep going, he'll kill you!"

Antonio: "Don't think I'm done with you… this is only the beginning."

He rushes Hayuki and begins pounding the back of his head repeatedly with insane force.

Commentator: "OH NO, FOLKS! The champion decides to go all out, hammering the back of his opponent's head relentlessly, even though Hayuki can barely stand!"

Crowd:

"Damn…"

"Is the ref blind? Why isn't he stopping this fight?"

"I can't watch…"

Antonio turns Hayuki around and continues smashing his face—breaking his nose, splitting his lips, giving him a black eye—each blow harder than the last.

Antonio: "You should've given up earlier, buddy. You could've avoided all this."

Hayuki: "Fu—"

Antonio: "What?"

Hayuki: "Fu—"

Antonio: "Fu what?"

Hayuki: "Fuck you…"

Antonio: "Seriously? You wasted your last breath just to say that?"

Antonio lifts the nearly lifeless Hayuki and lands a crushing punch to his ribs, breaking them, then a kick that knocks out two more teeth, then another strike breaking more ribs.

Hayuki (thinking): "Damn… I can't feel my body anymore… who would've thought I'd lose like this hahaha…"

Antonio: "It's over for you, my friend."

Coach Steve: "NOOOO, HAYUKIIII!"

Antonio ends the fight with a brutal knee strike to the back of Hayuki's head, knocking him out cold and winning the match…
