From my experience I had known that one way to get over something quick enough is to settle with that thing, whatever it is. Judging from the way he had always talked about his mother, there was no time he mentioned that she was dead, and that meant that there was a possibility that this woman was still alive somewhere, and if only he could meet and reach out to her and settle whatever grudge he had against her, then maybe he was going to heal faster than he expected.
"What are the solutions you are talking about?" he asked me, standing so close to me I could see the pain in his eyes.
"Donald, I must warn you that this is going to be very demanding, and I would not blame you if you initially disapproved, but believe me, if you truly want to get over all of these situations, you need to consider it at least," I said to him, and he nodded his head in agreement, but with the hastiness that he did, I knew that he only wanted to hear what I had to say.
