I knew I had to get Evelyn away from the Mage's temple by all means necessary..
I know that if I hope she will leave there sometime soon, it will only drag my plan even slower than I intended!
There have been too many delays in the past and I don't want a repeat of that anymore!
After wrapping up my business with that man and refusing to mention his name, I made my way to the temple…
I just couldn't stop thinking about Larissa for some very strange reason. The Alpha has suddenly asked us to increase the number of guards watching over her overnight.
And she received a new entourage of maids at her beck and call. Is the Alpha intending to make her his Luna? If that happens, my place as beta is at stake here!
What if she informs the Alpha about our past relationship? I know for a fact he won't take it lightly and might get rid of me in an instant!
