Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Storming the Hotel to Save Her

Lin Chen immediately dialed He Tianchi's number. "Find out where Murong Qingcheng is! I can't reach her."

He Tianchi didn't dare delay. He quickly deployed his network to investigate. Lin Chen could calculate that Murong Qingcheng was in trouble, even pinpoint a general direction—but not her exact location. For that, he needed He Tianchi's resources.

Sure enough, less than five minutes later, He Tianchi called back. "Young Master, my men just confirmed it—Miss Murong was kidnapped in an underground parking garage."

"She's been taken to Longxing Hotel. It's owned by the Liang family. I've already sent people there—they'll arrive in about ten minutes."

Lin Chen's eyes darkened. The Liang family was courting death.

"Longxing Hotel? Got it."

Just as he was about to hang up, He Tianchi warned, "Mr. Lin, don't be reckless. They've got guns."

Lin Chen didn't respond. He ended the call.

With a single step forward, the ground beneath him cracked. He shot into the sky like a cannonball, vanishing into the night.

In less than a minute, a figure dropped down in front of Longxing Hotel. The marble at the entrance shattered beneath his feet, leaving a deep crater.

The two doormen at the entrance were stunned. He had literally fallen from the sky—was he even human?

Lin Chen ignored them and stormed inside like a gust of wind.

The doormen didn't dare stop him. They only made a few thousand yuan a month—not nearly enough to risk their lives.

As soon as Lin Chen stepped in, seven or eight men in black suits rushed toward him.

"Stop! Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Only elites came to Longxing Hotel. Lin Chen clearly wasn't one of them—he looked like trouble.

He didn't answer. He kept walking.

"You're being reckless! This is Liang family territory. Do you have a death wish?" shouted the lead bodyguard, drawing a baton from his belt.

Lin Chen didn't bother with them. He had to find Murong Qingcheng fast.

In a blink, he passed the guards as if they weren't even there. None of them could so much as graze his sleeve.

By the time they turned around, he had already entered the lobby and was making his way to the elevators.

Now that he was inside, locating Murong Qingcheng would be easy with his abilities.

"Damn you, Liang Haoming! You're dead!" he growled.

Just as he reached the elevator—

"You brat! How dare you come to Longxing and make trouble!" shouted the head bodyguard, Lin Lu, charging after him.

"You're finished!"

Lin Lu wasn't just any thug. He was a seventh-rank martial artist with a ruthless reputation—hundreds had fallen by his hand.

"Shut down the elevators!" he barked into the comms, face grim. Tonight, the Liang family had important business. If this kid messed things up, Lin Lu wouldn't just lose his job—he'd lose his life.

As the elevator doors began to open, the power was cut. Lin Chen's expression grew darker.

These annoying flies had to be dealt with.

"You little punk, you think you're tough? You've got guts, I'll give you that!" Lin Lu cracked his neck and stepped forward.

Several young rich kids nearby recognized Lin Lu.

"That guy's got guts, barging into the Liang family's place."

"The Liangs rose from the underworld. Lin Lu's brutal—this kid's gonna lose a leg."

"You don't get it. There's something big happening here tonight. This guy? He's not leaving alive."

The commotion drew a crowd.

"Die!" Lin Chen didn't waste time. One kick sent Lin Lu flying into a table with a loud crash.

Everyone froze.

He actually struck first—was he insane?

"What are you all standing there for? Kill him!" Lin Lu shouted, bloodied but conscious. He pointed at Lin Chen, face twisted in rage.

The Liang family had the power to clean up any aftermath. This guy was as good as dead.

The guards surged forward, batons swinging. Clearly professionally trained, they targeted Lin Chen's joints with precise coordination.

If he took even one hit, he'd be disabled.

Just when everyone thought Lin Chen was doomed, he moved.

Like a ghost, he appeared behind one guard, snatched his baton, and lashed out.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Each strike sent guards flying from the force of the impacts.

"Die!" Lin Chen flashed toward Lin Lu, smashing the baton down.

Crack!

Lin Lu's skull split open. Blood poured down his face as his eyes rolled back—he was done for.

His last thought: Who the hell is this monster?

With Lin Lu down, Lin Chen sprinted toward the stairs.

The elevator was useless. He had to reach Murong Qingcheng—fast.

He had already calculated that she was on the top floor. But the real threat wasn't the lobby guards—it was whoever was waiting upstairs.

He Tianchi had said they had guns.

Charging in recklessly would be dangerous.

Top Floor Suite

Two black-clad guards dragged a large sack into the room, placing it before a man seated on the sofa—Liang Haoming.

"Boss, we brought her."

They dumped the contents onto the floor—Murong Qingcheng.

"Need us to drug her?" one asked.

Liang Haoming stood and waved dismissively. "What's the fun in that? I want her awake. I want her to feel the humiliation. The more she struggles, the more excited I get."

"Get out. It's time for me to enjoy myself."

The guards nodded and closed the door behind them.

Liang Haoming sneered and turned on a pre-set camera.

"I'll send this masterpiece to Lin Chen. Can't wait to see his reaction."

He threw Murong Qingcheng onto the bed.

She had been knocked out and only just regained consciousness from the jostling. Her limbs were weak, her body unresponsive.

But after a few breaths of fresh air, she slowly came to.

When she felt herself being thrown on the bed, she fully woke up.

"Ah!" she screamed and rolled to the side, eyes wide in panic.

Liang Haoming lunged—and missed. He didn't mind. He sat up and grinned at her.
