Chapter 3: Earth, not like the Earth

Their phone rang again in unison, the sound akin to an announcement
[Due to an unexpected occurrence, the energy of the Earth has been corrupted. Only a portion of humanity has been saved. The planet will undergo a rapid evolution after seven days.]

A mocking voice announced.

This... A blurring scene, light shines again. The feeling of darkness and lightness truly scared everyone. Everyone faced the view of the field of grass. But that was just their imagination. The tower building, the city building, and even the other buildings outside the academy vanished. They become ruins like a strong magnitude earthquake just occurred. But they are puzzled as the building they are currently standing in, the Green Wood Academy, is still standing, and they are alive. Only vast ruins and a field from afar can be seen aside from their school.

Another noise occurred, but this one is different from the panicked students. This is from someone who got some pain. He quickly looks below the building. Unfortunately, the building where he is has only a three-story building, and he was on the third floor, but looking below is an easy fit. The ground is filled with bloody scenes, and some sort of creatures are attacking all the students, even the teachers below.

Scream and scream echoes everywhere, this startled Irish, and even the girl beside him, after looking scared from the situation.
"Hey!!" He quickly grabs again the arm of the girl. And run towards the stairs going up, the girl in his hand also follows, even though she doesn't know him, she still follows him.
But a creature with furry skin, something like a dog, but the dog is cute, maybe something like a wolf with a mouth full of blood. Maybe this creature eats or kills someone earlier.
This is something, the creature wolf thing jumps off on a student who is running. Irish panicked.
"Sh*t! The stairs are not available."
He quickly turned around and ran back to where they had come from and entered the room they had. Unfortunately, other students also thought what he was thinking.
They filed and stashed all the tables and chairs in the door and window. Irish and the girl just in time entered and closed the door. He also closed the curtain, helped the other boys to close the door, and made it secure.
This is an intense scene, Irish also gestures to the other students, like a hand signal inside to be quiet as the creature or monster outside, and prays, to make the monster pass them.
The students inside the room are only nine of them, the five boys, including Irish, and four girls, including the girl earlier. Irish, while waiting, he grabbed something like iron iron-like pole from the cabinet behind the chalkboard. Maybe it is used for a flag or something; at least he has some weapon to use.
While the agony and crying sound came from outside, the cripples in their ears. Here, they are waiting, no, they are praying that no one will notice this room and attack them. Irish, who was watching outside through the slip in the side of the curtain in the window, if there is a monster-like creature earlier. Gripping his weapon pole, he looks intense, but deep inside, he's nervous.

A grunting sound and a bloody head scene were presented in the room. The creatures like the wolf monster enter their room and eat the guy that monsters smashed. A crunching sound was heard while it was eating the guy earlier; he's dead, his two eyes opened wide, glaring at the other students.
Aaahhhhh!!!!!
The scream of the other girl students erupts again. Irish looks at the monster wolf-like creatures. He grips the iron pole in his hand and runs toward the monster. And trust the monster's nape, the nape seems to be the weakness. A grunt sounded again.
Urggg rahh!!!!!
The monster uproars in pain, but it is not enough. The monster quickly pounced on him, blocking it with the pole. A wrestling-like battle appeared.
This is hard, Irish thinking, while battling the creature. He was thinking about how to defeat this guy, this creature, like a wolf monster, that has the strength of an average person.
The other guy in the room also noticed Irish's action and quickly grabbed a metal chair and smashed the back of the monster that was pouncing on Irish.
Thud!!! SMACK!!
Maybe because of the hit, the strength of the monster loosened, which gives Irish a chance to kick it and trust it again and again. Blood spurted out from the monster. I don't know if it was considered blood, but it was green.
The monster dropped, and something like a crystal white Milky Way generated above the monster and flew towards the body of Irish.

Heat flows in the body of Irish, from nerves to muscles, cells to tissues, and even his organ feels hot from the energy he absorbed. His eyes glow a misty white with a pattern akin to an eagle eye.
