Chapter 8: Glimpse of Evolution

Irish, while looking at his phone, saw the screen panel showing the data of the camp, just one night, and the academy population reduced from more than two thousand people to around one thousand and nine hundredths.
The other also looks sad in the scene, but they are also scared. What if they are the ones who died just now? That's terrifying.

They are really thankful, as they have a mutated cat, the cat hunts them and even brings them with their corpse.
The first people in their group who started their mutation with a visible sign were, of course, Fatty Ben, who would compare with this eater?

According to the Campers' Assistant, the evolution of humanity refers to the transcendent mutation. As they absorb more mystical energy, they will awaken their ability, or what the system commonly uses, named Flair.
Flair is an innate ability of the beast of every individual, their spiritual beast. The spiritual beast is classified into three systems: the beast form, which usually consists of evolved versions of animals or plants; the second system is the elemental form, where, as the name suggests, it consists of elemental spiritual beasts; and lastly, the irregular, mostly unknown, and rarely appearing.
Based on the category, Fatty Bens' flair is included in the elemental system. There are also the others after him, the twins, Yui and Hina, mutated with some kind of snake; a snake scale mutates in their hands, Yui in her left hand, and Hina on her right hand. They are truly twins indeed. Jeo and Jem don't have visible mutation, but their strength increase.
Jess, starting to resonate with water, seems to be her mutation is approaching the elemental system, while Misty can now feel energy in her surroundings, and her mutation is not visible yet.
Their problem is... Irish, who first to feel the absorbing force, while the others started mutating, but he, nothing at all, aside from the noticeable panel in the phone that kept popping.

This concerns Irish and his group, if they go back tom, conflict will arise, but if he does not go, danger in the mountain is lurking.
While they are eating at the top of the mountain and busy with their things, a loud bang is heard on the campus. It seems to be some conflict, and a fight just occurred.
Irish quickly turned and looked at the center, people starting to gather, and it appeared to be two groups were facing together.

A round ball of fire started to float on Renee's hand, ready to throw to the guy. The other guy beside him is also starting to use their various mutation. But they didn't expect…
The guy in their front starts to float, and a dark and gloomy energy starts gathering.
This is Emman, a fourth-year student, who wants to avenge his first-year little sister's death. On the second day of the apocalypse where Renee starts to dominate the campus by killing the teachers. They make all the beauties on the campus submit and become their playthings.
In that time, Emman doesn't have strength, and has not yet mutated, which is why they can't do anything to the group of Renee. But just this evening, he feels a crazy electric energy starting to be developed inside him.

Renee and his group were startled as they witnessed Emmans' incomplete evolution was powerful. They stepped back one step, but they did not back down.

Then the fight broke out in the center. Emman, while floating, started using his electric power, making the other numb. But this is not enough, Emman's people are just around five hundred, and most of them are girls, though they have some strong abilities, but they can't overtake the group of Renee, which turns into more than a thousand, with mostly huge builds, plus their abilities, they are formidable.
Just a little over an hour, they suppress Emman's group.
"I let this fight slide, if you submit to me, such a waste of talent if not under me." Renee with his prideful speech.
"No, someday I will take revenge for my sister!" Emman is trying to budge from their pinned.
"Oh, quite, prideful, then you are not useful anymore, throw him outside the gate."

"Starting today, those who dare to face me are not allowed here."
"So think carefully! I'm quite merciful right now."
The campus changed again, with over a thousand and nine hundred people, over five hundred vanished and thrown outside following Emman. While over a thousand people started to follow Renee, as they were more scared outside than here, at least here they are protected by the school. Especially since the completion of the mutation is nearing its end, they don't know what will happen then.
