On my way back from college, I suddenly met her. Her name is Disha.
I went forward with a little hesitation and said, — "You are happy now, right? That's all I came to see. And don't fight with me anymore. Be well. And forgive me for whatever mistake I have made."
Saying this, when I started walking, Disha called from behind, — "Listen... I will forgive you.
But on one condition.
" I was a little surprised and asked,
— "What condition?
" She said,
— "You will never contact me again."
I was shocked and said,
— "Why?"
He smiled and said,
— "We were like enemies in college. Now that you are leaving, it is peace for me too. Because if you leave, I will have no more enemies here. So never come back."
I sighed and said,
— "Okay."
Before he left, he said,
— "I never loved you."
I paused and said,
— "Have I ever said you love me? But one thing is true, I fell in love with you... from the day I first saw you. Today I just had the courage to say it.
Goodbye, be well."
Then I slowly left there.
When I returned to the hotel, I felt a heavy weight on my chest. I couldn't bear the pain anymore. I went straight to a bar and drank until late at night. When I arrived in front of the hotel, it was almost 3 am.
All the lights in the hotel were off, because it was forbidden to be outside after 10pm.
I spent the whole night outside the hotel, on the roadside.
The next morning, I couldn't think of anything else. I went straight to apply for admission to another college.
There was a park near my old college where I often spent time. I went to that park and sat on a lonely bench for a long time. I started thinking alone about my inner turmoil, love, humiliation and emptiness.
Five days passed like this.
Suddenly one day, I got a call from an unknown number on my phone. At first, I didn't pick up. After a while, a friend called and said,
— "Disha went to college and got your number today. That call was from Disha."
I was shocked.
Within a short while, the call came from that unknown number again. This time I received the call...
