Chapter 2 - Episode 2: Blood, Loyalty, and Distance

The knock on the door made Zoya's heart skip a beat. Ilyas looked into her eyes for a moment, as if trying to hold onto time, then suddenly opened the door.

Outside stood his trusted man, Fahad, looking anxious, with sweat on his forehead.

"Sir, the enemy is very close. We have only fifteen minutes to leave."

Ilyas nodded immediately. "Get the car ready."

Zoya's face turned pale. "How long will this all last?"

Ilyas gently took her hand. "As long as you're with me, it will never end... but I will never leave you alone."

On the Road

Traveling through the darkness of the night and the silence of the mountains, they were in the car. Outside, the winds were howling, and inside, Zoya's thoughts were racing. Ilyas would occasionally glance at her, as if he could hear the voice of her heart.

"Do you trust me?" he suddenly asked.

Zoya was startled. "I don't know yet. Maybe yes... maybe no."

Ilyas lowered his head with a soft smile. "At least you're honest."

New Sanctuary

They arrived at a secret underground bunker—steel doors, hidden cameras, and a strict security system.

"This place is like a fortress. No one can reach here," Ilyas said.

But Zoya's gaze lingered on the confined space. "And this fortress... feels like a prison."

Ilyas softly replied, "If you ever feel trapped... let me know. I'll open the doors."

Mafia Meeting

The next morning, Ilyas sat with his trusted men silent men around the table, some armed, some with files.

"We need to find the traitor. How did the enemy learn about our hideout?"

Fahad said, "Sir, this looks like an inside job."

Zoya stood behind the door, listening to everything. She had only one question in her mind Do I want to be a part of all this?

Dangerous Revelation

That night, Zoya began going through the files in the bunker room. Suddenly, she found a secret file—one with her father's signature.

"What... how is this possible?"

The file revealed that years ago, her father had betrayed Ilyas's father in a deal—and this was the root cause of the war.

Ilyas silently entered the room and watched Zoya.

"So, you've figured it all out," he said.

Zoya threw the file down. "So, my father's blood... is the reason for your hatred?"

Ilyas closed his eyes for a moment. "It was. But now... now it's you."

Test of Loyalty

Meanwhile, the woman who had met Zoya at the mansion Nazli had joined the enemies.

"Zoya is a weak link. Attack her, and Ilyas will break," Nazli said with a smile.

A masked man replied, "Then this time, we won't attack Zoya... we'll strike her heart."

Another Attack

The bunker was suddenly attacked. Zoya was in her room when a loud explosion made the ground shake. Flames, screams, and smoke filled the air.

Ilyas came running with his gun. "Zoya!"

But a masked man stood at the door.

A shot was fired.

A streak of blood flowed from Zoya's arm.

"Zoya!" Ilyas knocked the enemy down and grabbed her arm.

"I'm fine... just a little wound," Zoya said, showing courage.

But Ilyas's face turned red with anger and pain. "This was the first and last wound. Now, I won't just defend... I will attack."

The Depth of Emotions

That night, Zoya lay in bed, her arm bandaged. Ilyas came to her, gently holding her hand.

"Forgive me."

Zoya softly said, "You didn't care for me, you cared for my heart."

Ilyas's eyes were filled with tears. "For the first time... someone cares for me, not my enemies."

Zoya placed his hand on her face. "Sometimes... touching someone's wounds is what love is."

The Next Morning

Fahad brought the news: "We've caught the traitor."

Ilyas stepped into the room. There she was the same woman Nazli.

"So, it was you..."

Nazli smiled sarcastically. "I thought you'd never recognize me, Khan."

Zoya stood at the door, hearing everything.

"I never trusted you, Nazli," Ilyas said.

"And now... Zoya will sentence you."

Zoya was startled. "Me?"

Ilyas said, "Yes. Because now, you are my strength. And strength decides."

Zoya looked into Nazli's eyes. "You tried to hurt my husband. But I don't want to be like you."

She turned away. "The court will decide. We are not criminals... we will set an example."

Ilyas's eyes gleamed with pride.

Final Scene

That night, Zoya stood on the balcony. The rain was falling again ,

Ilyas came up behind her and draped a shawl over her shoulders.

"Sometimes, we don't fear the rain... but the silence that follows it," he said.

Zoya looked at him. "But when you're with me... fear stays behind."

They moved closer to each other hearts syncing, emotions uniting.

And then... a phone rang in the distance.

Ilyas answered the call his face darkened.

"What happened?" Zoya asked.

Ilyas slowly said,

"Your past... isn't over yet."

The rain had stopped, but a new storm had begun to rise in Zoya's heart. The seriousness on Ilyas Khan's face shook her to the core.

"What happened? Who was on the call?" Zoya asked, her heart pounding.

Ilyas ended the call and said softly, "Your father has gone missing."

Zoya's knees buckled.

"No... that's not possible. How... how can this be?"

Ilyas immediately held her, "I promise you, Zoya. I will find your father. Even if I have to shake the earth or break the skies."

Message from the Enemy

The next moment, a video message arrived. On screen, Zoya's father was tied to a chair, with a masked man standing behind him.

"Khan! If you want him alive, hand over your wife to us. You have 48 hours."

Zoya screamed. "No! I don't want to lose him because of me. I will go myself!"

Ilyas slammed his fist on the floor. "I won't let anyone come near you, Zoya!"

But Zoya's eyes held something else — a mother's prayer, a daughter's pain, and a warrior's courage.

"Ilyas... if being in your life has made me a target, then I must learn to protect myself."

Training Begins

Ilyas made a decision immediately.

"Fine. Starting tomorrow, you will begin training under my supervision."

In the following days, Zoya learned how to shoot, throw knives, and defend against attacks. Fear faded from her eyes, replaced by determination.

One day, after a tough training session, she sat down exhausted. Ilyas walked over to her.

"You're no longer the Zoya who would hide behind closed doors. You're close to becoming the queen of my world."

Zoya smiled. "And you... perhaps closer to my heart."

Spy Identified

Meanwhile, Fahad brought news. "Sir! We traced the IP of that video. It was sent from an old factory on the edge of the city."

Ilyas immediately began preparing for the mission. Zoya insisted on going along.

"I won't be a bystander. I'll save my father myself."

Ilyas looked at her for a moment, then nodded.

Mission Night

Under the cover of darkness, two vehicles headed toward the factory. In one: Ilyas, Fahad, and Zoya. In the other: his elite soldiers.

The factory was run-down, but inside, death loomed.

Zoya wore a wireless earpiece. Ilyas instructed, "Stay behind. If anything unexpected happens, exit immediately."

Zoya nodded, but her intentions were different.

Inside the Factory

As soon as they entered, gunfire erupted. Bullets ricocheted off walls, screams echoed. Fahad and the other fighters engaged the enemies.

Ilyas and Zoya quietly made their way to the inner chamber. Suddenly, a door swung open — a masked man lunged at them.

Ilyas attacked with a knife, but the man grabbed Zoya. "Take one step closer, and I'll kill her."

Blood boiled in Ilyas' eyes. "Let her go!"

But Zoya struck first a knee to the back, then drove a knife into his neck.

"I am not weak!" she screamed.

Father Rescued

In the inner room, Zoya's father was tied and barely conscious. She untied him, crying.

"Papa... I'm here. I kept my promise."

Ilyas supported him
