Inside Lara and Mike's apartment, the atmosphere was filled with both excitement and tension. Suitcases were scattered everywhere, clothes piled on the bed, and Mike was desperately trying to close his bag without success.
"Lara, do we really need all of this?" he asked, pressing down on the suitcase with all his might.
Lara replied nonchalantly while organizing her clothes in her own suitcase, "Of course! We're going to the Maldives, and I need plenty of outfit options for each day."
Mike sighed in defeat, then glanced at her slyly. "Well then, if your bag is full, I guess I can put a few of my things in it, right?"
She shot him a sharp look. "Mike, don't even think about touching my bag."
"But—"
"I said no."
He gave her a look of resignation, then sat on the bed, staring at the chaos around him before raising his eyes to her and saying mischievously, "You know, we could just leave all this and travel with one bag... or even no bags at all."
Lara looked at him suspiciously. "And where exactly would we get clothes there, genius?"
He moved closer and whispered, "Who said we'd need many clothes on our honeymoon?"
Lara's cheeks turned bright red. She picked up a pillow and threw it at him. "Mike! Stop your nonsense and start packing!"
He laughed as he dodged the pillow, then finally got back to finishing his suitcase.
An hour later, they stood at the door, each holding their bags, and Mike let out a sigh of relief. "Finally, we're ready for the Maldives!"
Lara looked at him with a wide smile, then intertwined her fingers with his and said excitedly, "This will be the best honeymoon ever."
Mike looked at her with loving eyes, then teased, "Sure... as long as you don't bring half of the Maldives in your suitcase or turn the trip into a non-stop photoshoot."
Lara laughed and playfully hit his shoulder, then they walked together toward the door, ready to begin a honeymoon they would never forget.
