Yun Chuan watched the Titan Giant Ape flit and leap through the forest, shaking his head with a sigh.
It's a shame—my Tree World Descends is only for show, he mused. If these summoned trees could absorb energy or life-force from anything caught by them—
then I'd have a real soul beast killer on my hands. Most soul beasts are huge; in a tangle of trees, few could get away. If his trees could drain energy from the trapped beast, escape would be impossible.
But, with a thought, Yun Chuan grinned to himself. You think these trees I've spawned are just ordinary plants? Keep jumping, then. See how you like what's coming next.
At his mental command, the trees began to subtly transform.
The Titan Giant Ape swiftly realized something was wrong. Suddenly, the bark of the trees sprouted sharp thorns. The instant its hand gripped a trunk, it was stabbed—while the spikes couldn't pierce its thick skin, the pain made it frown in annoyance.
Then, around it, flower buds swelled and burst into bloom.
A strange fruity fragrance spread all around.
The Titan Giant Ape took a few deep breaths of the aroma, feeling briefly dizzy before shaking it off. The scent was poisonous, likely meant to cause sleep, but it barely affected a soul beast of such immense strength—especially one with a hundred-thousand years of cultivation.
Yun Chuan, watching through his Plant Domain, saw all this and understood—poison wouldn't work against the Titan Giant Ape. With its monstrous vitality and resistance, even powerful toxins were nearly useless.
"Teacher Tang, what now?" Dai Mubai asked anxiously. "Shouldn't we run, while it's still distracted?"
But Yun Chuan shook his head. "No use. If we try to flee now, the giant ape will react in a flash. We're no match for its speed here in the forest." He sighed, "Looks like it's time for my strongest move."
"The strongest move?!"
Everyone perked up—finally a chance to witness their mysterious teacher's true power.
"I'll try to keep it busy. You all look for a chance—run as far as you can!"
Yun Chuan threw out his Blue Silver Grass; his seventh spirit ring flared vibrant.
"Seventh Soul Skill… Martial Soul True Body!"
The Blue Silver Grass hovered in midair, shedding radiant emerald light—so vivid that everyone had to squint, but the light filled them with warmth, washing away fatigue and leaving them feeling utterly refreshed.
Then, to their shock…
A flawless silhouette took shape at the heart of the glowing greenery:
A woman with long, blue hair, clad in a flowing green gown radiant with life, possessed such elegance and beauty that she seemed almost divine; her sapphire eyes gleamed like crystal, her beauty suffused with a pure power that made everything around her pale.
Tang San, Dai Mubai, Oscar—they all gaped as the goddess-like figure appeared, completely lost in her presence.
Ning Rongrong, her jewel-like eyes reflecting the goddess, felt a sting of inferiority. Zhu Zhuqing was similarly awed—faced with such feminine perfection, no ordinary woman could hope to compete.
As for the boys, not one felt a trace of lust; every impure thought was banished, as though any such desire would be blasphemy.
A Goddess!
At that moment, all saw her as a celestial being come to redeem them.
Yun Chuan's shout snapped everyone back to reality. They almost forgot about the ape's threat, falling into a hail of questions.
"Teacher Tang, why is your Martial Soul True Body like this?" asked Ning Rongrong.
"So beautiful! Like a goddess!" Ma Hongjun added.
"Does every Blue Silver Grass user end up like this?" Tang San wondered.
Yun Chuan silently cursed them for gawking, glad he'd only projected the goddess outward rather than taking the form himself—doing so in front of these nosy kids would have been unbearable.
"All right, no more questions!" he barked, glancing toward the Titan Giant Ape. The beast stared, spellbound, hanging from a tree and clearly stunned by the sight.
Yun Chuan took a deep breath. "Watch closely, Tang San. This is my ultimate self-created soul skill—Thousand-Hand Guanyin!"
"Thousand-Hand Guanyin?" Tang San echoed, baffled. He knew the legend, but what did that have to do with Blue Silver Grass? He didn't understand, but he felt instinctively that it must be powerful.
Just then, the earth trembled. Thick, vine-like Blue Silver Grass burst from the soil, each stalk meters thick, twisting and merging—gradually weaving together to form a colossal humanoid figure, as big as a mountain.
Above, the goddess-formed Martial Soul True Body flashed and vanished—fusing into the gigantic form, smoothing its previously rough surface… until, at last:
A hundred-meter-tall statue of a radiant woman, serene and smiling, hands pressed in prayer. Behind her, countless arms spread out, making an array of mystical mudras—forming a divine halo as seen behind Bodhisattva images.
In that instant, a Thousand-Hand Guanyin stood among them:
A goddess descended to earth!
