Astra's voice returned again.
"Then the next day…"
"In the class—"
---
Leo was already sitting on the front-row bench, reading another book. I walked in with my head lowered, still feeling guilty, and sat next to him quietly.
I leaned my back against the bench and waited for a moment, but he didn't look at me.
Then a candy rolled onto Leo's book.
It caught his attention. He picked it up and placed it back in front of me on the table without looking at me.
"Don't disturb me."
After a few seconds, two more candies rolled onto his book.
Leo tried not to smile. He picked them up and placed them on his side, then went back to reading and said softly,
"I don't like sweets."
Then a sour candy rolled onto the book.
He picked it up and read the wrapper.
"How many of these do you have?"
He giggled and finally looked at me.
I grinned.
"A lot. Want some?"
I showed him my bag filled with different flavored candies.
"Damn, you have a whole candy factory in your bag. Why do you have this many? For siblings?"
I blushed and answered nervously,
"Uhh… no. I'm the only child of my parents… Actually, they're for you. I didn't know which flavor suited your taste, so I bought all of them."
Leo looked surprised, then laughed.
"Haha… all these are for me?"
My ears turned red as I looked down at the bag and nodded.
He leaned closer to my ear and whispered,
"Thanks for the candy, Astra… but I like to taste you, instead…"
I flinched back, face burning red, covering my ears.
"Excuse me?!"
Leo laughed.
"I like how you react… but I was just messing with you. Don't worry, unless—"
He glanced at me.
I covered my face and slapped his shoulder in embarrassment.
"Don't look at me like that, you pervert!"
He laughed again.
Class started, but Leo was still reading his book.
I noticed it and leaned closer, peeking inside.
It was a very horny manga.
My face turned red. Leo slowly closed the book with one hand and lowered his head.
I side-eyed him and noticed his ears were red. I crossed my arms.
"Ahem… so this is your business study?"
He peeked at me with one eye, blushing.
"You saw it, didn't you?"
I cleared my throat.
"Ahem… crystal clear. But it wasn't that bad, though."
He lifted his head in surprise.
"You like it?"
I flinched.
"Of course not. Stupid."
His ears turned even redder as he bit his lip.
I raised both my eyebrows.
"How many do you have in your bag?"
He started sweating.
"I… I—"
I smirked.
"So you got a lot, you nasty boy."
He nodded, embarrassed.
I laughed and gently patted his head. He blushed.
A few minutes later, we were both reading the same book when the teacher suddenly stood in front of us.
"Astra and Leo, what did I just explain?"
We stared at the teacher nervously, sweating.
"Uhhh…?"
Next thing I knew, both of us were standing outside the director's room while the teacher was inside, showing the manga.
"Look, sir, what they were reading during the ongoing class."
The director opened the book, blushed, and gasped.
"Damn… ahem."
I stood there calmly, while Leo looked nervous.
I leaned slightly toward him.
"You scared?"
He wiped his sweat.
"Of course not."
"Really?" I narrowed my eyes. "Then why are you sweating like crazy?"
"Huh?! I can ask you the same—why are you so calm?"
"I'm used to it."
He looked at me in shock.
"Huh…?"
I said casually,
"It's my daily up and down. Didn't you know? I was the school gang leader back then. But this is my first time standing outside a university director's room."
He looked impressed.
"Damn, you're a tough one, I see."
I winked.
He giggled.
Suddenly, the door slammed open.
"You two, go back to class right now!"
Leo and I looked at each other and smiled.
"Really…? Yes."
