Above the Pacific
James hovered at 10,000 meters, eyes glowing gold, super vision piercing clouds and ocean to a massive spatial rift in the Pacific trench, blue energy pulsing with alien tech.
"Found it." He vanished, the world slowing in his eyes.
Pacific Ocean, Breach
Boom! The sea exploded as a mountain-sized kaiju emerged, roaring. Before its cry faded, Zing! James's red heat vision pierced its skull. The beast froze, collapsing into the sea, blue blood spraying.
James hovered, eyes dimming. At K-Science Base, Pentecost, Raleigh, and Mako stared at satellite footage, stunned. "He shot lasers from his eyes?!" Raleigh's voice shook.
"Not lasers," Mako said. "High-energy particle beams, beyond our sensors' limits."
Pentecost's fists clenched. "Who is he?"
Breach Entrance
James dove through the ocean to the breach, seeing a gray world beyond: bio-factories, incubating kaiju embryos. "The Precursors' nest," he muttered. "No wonder they keep coming."
He crossed the breach into the alien world, corrosive air and organic ground pulsating. Dozens of kaiju writhed in pods. His arrival triggered alarms. "Intruder!" Precursor warriors—pale, lanky, with cold eyes—swarmed.
James ignored them, raising his hands. "Solar Flare!" Boom! Golden light erupted, vaporizing pods, collapsing nests, and shattering the breach. The explosion lit the planet, wiping out all life.
Back in the Pacific, the breach twisted, collapsing in a deafening implosion. James, untouched, vanished.
K-Science Base
"Breach energy zero!" a tech screamed. "It's closed—permanently!"
Pentecost stood. "What?!"
Mako stared at the data. "The source is destroyed."
Raleigh swallowed. "What did he do?"
James strolled in, hands in pockets. "Done. No more kaiju."
Silence. Pentecost removed his cap, saluting. "Humanity owes you."
James shrugged. "No big deal."
Mako's eyes held awe. "God or alien?"
"Just a passing Superman," James said.
Raleigh grinned. "Teach us to fight now?"
"Sure, after you feed me," James replied.
Days later, James trained Mako and Raleigh, optimized Jaeger neural systems, and earned Pentecost's respect. The system chimed: [Chained Mission, Stage 2 Unlocked. Target Universe: Unknown. Objective: Revealed upon entry.]
James, biting a sandwich, raised a brow. "Time to go?"
Mako noticed. "Leaving already?"
"Yup, next stop's calling," James said.
Pentecost handed him a file. "PPDC's highest honor. You probably don't care."
James stored it. "A keepsake, thanks."
Mako hesitated. "Will you come back?"
"Who knows? The universe is big," James said, walking to the plaza. PPDC members followed. Raleigh smirked. "No dimension-jump show?"
James grinned, opening a golden rift, revealing a city's neon glow. "There you go."
Pentecost exhaled. "You keep redefining reality."
Mako waved. "Take care."
James stepped through, turning back. "If kaiju return, I might swing by." He vanished.
Raleigh sighed. "Like the wind."
Mako smiled. "He changed our world."
Pentecost gazed at the sky. "Hope he stays that free elsewhere."
Unknown Universe
James emerged in a familiar yet strange New York, lacking Stark or Avengers Towers. His gems were still inert. Ahead, a figure in a tattered Spider-Man suit lay in blood, a hulking man with a bloody cane looming over him—Kingpin.
"Another pest," Kingpin growled.
James squinted, recognizing Peter Parker's suit. [Mission Issued: SUU Spider-Verse. Objective: Eliminate enemies disrupting the multiverse. Note: Requires patience to clear all threats.]
