They forced her down the final corridor and threw her inside a cell. She hit the stone floor hard, catching herself before fully collapsing.
The door slammed shut.
Metal reverberated through the chamber.
"You lied," she hissed through the bars.
Millen adjusted his gloves calmly.
"I never said I served the King. So this place will be filled with vampires from Crimson Thorn soon enough—you won't be lonely. Enjoy your time, Yuna Ashwood."
Then he turned and walked away.
The prison here was quite small. Compared to Marchmare, they needed to fill it up. Now that the final product, Q99, was finished, they would move on to another project—they would need more subjects to fill these cells.
He wondered if Lord Rosencraft would be pleased when he saw these experimental specimens. He giggled excitedly.
The group left her in the dim light of the underground prison.
