A massive shockwave tore through the ground, lifting stone and sand into the air like a hurricane. Only the protective barrier Kaede had set up prevented the stands from being obliterated. The sheer force of their attacks showed everyone just how far beyond the scope of a "Chunin Exam" this battle had gone.
Naruto, wrapped in the blazing cloak of the Nine-Tails, now bore nine flowing tails behind him. His eyes, fused completely with Kurama's demonic gaze, locked onto Sasuke. "Let's settle this once and for all, Sasuke."
"I was thinking the same." Sasuke's voice was calm, but the murderous intent in his eyes was enough to chill the air itself.
On the sidelines, Tsunade frowned, her fists clenching. "These brats… they've completely forgotten this is just an exam." She was ready to leap in the instant one of them landed a killing blow.
But Sasuke wasn't finished. His Susanoo flared, its massive form drawing in his fire and lightning chakra. He spun the energy into a swirling sphere—a Rasengan of his own making, forged through the replication ability of his Sharingan and amplified by Kagutsuchi's power.
Across from him, Naruto leapt into the air, wind chakra and a Bijuu Bomb fusing into an enormous Rasengan that radiated destructive force.
Two different destinies. Two different powers.
Two reincarnations of Ashura and Indra, bound by a curse of fate, about to collide.
The entire battlefield trembled. Ninja scrambled to escape the area, instinctively fleeing from the overwhelming pressure.
Sasuke dived, his lightning-and-fire Rasengan roaring in his hand. Naruto charged, his Wind Release–Bijuu Bomb Rasengan blazing with golden light.
The world seemed to stop when they met.
For one eternal heartbeat, time froze. Then came the explosion—an overwhelming flash of power that blinded everyone watching. The light was so intense it felt like the sun had burst open on the battlefield.
When the brilliance faded, two figures stood back to back, motionless. Neither turned to look at the other.
A heartbeat later, their bodies wavered. Both collapsed to the ground.
In a blur, Tsunade and Orochimaru appeared at their sides. Orochimaru caught Sasuke, hunger flashing in his eyes. This was the body he had longed for—the perfect vessel.
Tsunade crouched beside Naruto, sighing as relief softened her stern features. She patted his shoulder with a small smile. "You did well, brat."
The arena was silent. No one dared breathe. For in that moment, they had all witnessed it—two children clashing with the power of gods.
