Marissa turned up almost immediately they arrived.
Audrey just had enough time to clean-up before Tristan announced her arrival.
"Hey, Wifey! Your lovely aunt's here." A brief pause. "And she didn't come empty. Bless your heart, Aunt Marissa. You brought all this for me?"
Audrey reached the leaving room just in time to find Tristan gaping into a vast basket of baked goodies. There was a food basket too, but Tristan was more fixated on the snacks.
His tongue was out, eyes wide, as he scanned through the cakes, scones, pies and sweets. Knowing Marissa, there was plenty more where that came from.
Marissa couldn't help a smile. "Well, for you and the other one…"
"Oh, you mean broody Decks?" Tristan rummaged through the basket and beamed. "Pumpkin pie. My favorite."
"Deckard. I don't see him around." Her tone of voice clearly said she preferred it that way.
"He's just upstairs. I could get him if—"
