The fighter plane was now speeding toward the volcano. Joseph tried his best to teach ** how to fly it.

During this tense moment, ** suddenly noticed something strange.
That peculiar Felyne who had arrived with Kairo—carrying a box on its back—had somehow made its way to the rear cabin, where it gently placed the box beside itself and sat obediently, as if waiting for something.
Meanwhile, Kairo handed Joseph something resembling a wristband.
"Joseph, this is my gift to you… I scraped together just enough material from the Kirin to make this, even used part of a Kirin Azure Horn to forge this talisman band…"
"Do you know what it's for? This is the talisman gear I think suits you the most."
As Kairo said this, Joseph looked at the band in his hands, confused.
"A talisman? But this is just a wristband. Where's the actual talisman?"
"That's why it's perfect for you," Kairo replied.
"You already have the jewel that fits this talisman better than anything else…"
Kairo's words made Joseph realize what the talisman was meant to be embedded with.
With both gratitude and excitement, Joseph embedded the Aja Red Stone he had been holding into the wristband.

As the plane flew over the volcano, Joseph and Kairo jumped out in unison—
Using their Insect Glaives and Wirebugs to hover midair, they charged straight toward Kars.
"Come, Kars!"
Joseph flew at Kars, who sneered at what looked like a suicidal charge and prepared to kill him in the most brutal way.
But just before Kars struck Joseph—
Joseph shot out a glowing Iron Silk from his hand, shifted position in midair, and plunged his glaive directly into Kars' chest.
"You think this can hurt me? Foolish!"
Kars immediately expelled the glaive from his body and regenerated:
"At this distance, your only option… is death."
"No. The ones dying… are us!"
Joseph grinned with a touch of madness and suddenly grabbed hold of Kars.
Kars thought Joseph was going to use Ripple to attack—
But he soon realized Joseph's body was totally defenseless, completely surrendering to him.
Kars suspected a trap, but as the proud Ultimate Life Form, he refused to believe Joseph could kill him with such a stupid suicidal tactic.
Just as Kars was about to absorb Joseph—
The cells of their bodies already overlapping—
Kairo burst in from the side and crashed into both of them.
All three of them plummeted into the volcano's crater.
"Come on, Kars!"
Joseph's face was crazed:
"Let's experience the mighty power of nature together! You monster who dared to defy it!!!"
Kars' face twisted. He instinctively tried to break away from Joseph.
But Joseph's Ripple—trained endlessly in the Assembly—
Now amplified by the Aja Red Stone, blazed like the sun, tightly restraining Kars' body.

As Kars roared, Joseph, Kairo Retsu, and Kars all fell into the boiling magma together.
"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"
The searing agony tormented Kars' perfect body.
Kars quickly devised a plan: generate foam-like armor to insulate against the heat and escape the lava.

The two humans—also being scorched by the magma—

And up above, ** was circling above the volcano just as Joseph had instructed—
Watching the volcano with sorrow.
Joseph… had sacrificed himself to drag Kars into the magma.

But then, ** suddenly spotted movement in the lava:
Kars was still alive.
