MHGA Chapter 273 – The Adorable Receptionists!!
Ever since returning from Night City, life for the hunters had become much more relaxed.

Kazuma's desperate protests only made the atmosphere inside the Hub even more cheerful.
Aside from bullying Kazuma, the hunters also spent time training seriously at the Training Area or taking on Arena Quests.
Chito and Yuuri—from the world of Girls' Last Tour—had come to the Gathering Hub to serve as receptionists. These two girls were now in charge of handling Arena Quest rewards and request organization. While enjoying good food and drink, they diligently managed the administrative work for the Arena.

"Guildmaster, sir, here are the Arena Coins you earned from your last quest," Chito said, carefully counting the coins and depositing them into Kairo Retsu's account.
Beside her, Yuuri was lazily slumped over the desk, her face squished flat in contentment as she enjoyed a life free from scrambling around for survival rations.
"Yuuri, get up and do some work!" Chito tugged at her squished cheek in annoyance. "You've just been eating nonstop since we got to the Hub! You've gotten chubby!"
"What's wrong with that? Peace forever~" Yuuri rolled over, staying sprawled on the desk in blissful laziness.
"It's fine, it's fine. Chubby girls are cute too," Kairo Retsu said cheerfully, offering her a snack he brought from his personal mini-mart. "Here, Yuuri, have some chips… Lay's!"
"Awesome!" Yuuri instantly perked up, snatching the chips and munching happily. "So tasty~~ So happy!"
"Kairo Retsu, sir! You're spoiling her!!" Chito scolded sternly. "Please don't treat Yuuri like she's some adorable grandchild and feed her snacks!"
"Ugh… okay, okay…" Kairo replied helplessly, but just as Chito turned around, the sound of rustle rustle came from behind.
Whipping her head back, she saw Kairo and Yuuri both suddenly looking elsewhere, pretending nothing had happened.
Chito turned back to organize Arena Quest data again, but—rustle rustle—the sound came once more. This time, she caught Kairo in the act, sneaking a cheese cupcake into Yuuri's hand.
"I told you! No feeding Yuuri snacks!" Chito snapped, chasing Kairo out in frustration.
Even as he fled, Kairo forcibly shoved several packets of mini cakes into Chito's pocket before being thrown out.
The reason was simple: he couldn't help himself. Chito had clearly suffered long-term malnutrition in her original world, and he couldn't resist giving her extra food.
Seeing the two of them adapting well to life in the Hub, filled with new energy and joy, gave Kairo a warm, proud feeling.
"Next stop… let's check in on Miko!" Kairo stretched as he moved on. "Wonder how she's doing lately…"
When Kairo found Miko in the Gathering Hub, she was currently studying the teachings of the Axis Church under Aqua's guidance.
Ever since joining the Axis Church, Miko's power as a High Priestess had been growing by the day.

"Really, really?!" Aqua's eyes sparkled as she immediately thrust out her hand toward Kairo. "Guildmaster, Guildmaster! Gimme money! I want to go drink fizzy wine again!"
"Ha! Easy!" Kairo lifted his nose arrogantly, pulling a few cabbages from his backpack and placing them in Aqua's hand. "Sell these and you'll have all the money you need…"
Fun Fact: In Kazuma's world, almost all vegetables are deadly combatants, bordering on classified monsters. Chefs in that world often possess powerful combat skills just to avoid getting assassinated by their ingredients. Thus, these vegetables can fetch extremely high prices on the market…
Watching Aqua happily walk off with a few cabbages, Miko chatted with Kairo for a bit more before returning to her studies and training.
As a High Priestess of the Axis Church, Miko's divine aura was constantly drawing lingering souls seeking release to her presence. Thus, she continued refining her skills—and helped many spirits find peace along the way.
"Kairo Retsu, sir… Have you seen Joseph lately?" Miko asked casually during their conversation. "Not long ago, I saw him looking really troubled… like he had something he needed to do."
"And also…" Miko hesitated slightly before continuing. "The thorns surrounding him have been rippling constantly. It feels like he's struggling with something… conflicted."
"Joseph?" Kairo scratched his head. "He hasn't been to training recently? Then he's probably…"
