THE ETERNAL FLAME
Chapter 1: When Light Touched the Cold
(First Sight…)
Scene: Night – Urban Side Street
It's 8:30 PM…
The rain is drizzling… a streetlight is flickering…
The road is silent — the only sounds are water dripping from a pipe… and footsteps.
A girl, Prithvi, walks calmly. She's holding her bag tightly, returning from a bookstore.
Suddenly… three guys start following her from behind.
> Rowdy 1 (grinning):
> "Hey… look at her from the back, guys."

Prithvi starts walking faster. But the street is empty.
> Rowdy 2 (laughing):
> "Hey pretty…"
>
They quickly get closer, and one guy tries to grab Prithvi's hand.
> Prithvi (firm tone):
> "Don't touch me. I'll call the police."
>
> Rowdy 3 (mocking):
> "I won't even give you time to call…"
>
He tries to grope her…
But suddenly…
The wind shifts.
Scene Change: A Shadow Walks In
A figure stands at the street corner. He's tall, wearing a black hoodie. His face is in shadow… Only his red glowing eyes are visible.
Tap… Tap… Tap…
The sound of his footsteps is loud.
Prithvi and the three guys both stop.
> Rowdy 1:
> "Hey! Who are you, man?"

The figure walks silently…
A flash of lightning —
It's JINWOO. His face is calm… but dangerous.
He doesn't speak. In the next second, he grabs Rowdy 2's neck.
> CRACKKK!
>
A bone snapping sound! The guy screams — an instant knock-out!
Rowdy 1 pulls out a knife… but Jinwoo breaks the knife with a single punch!
> Jinwoo (cold tone):
> "Weaklings… don't show your strength in the wrong place."

Rowdy 3 tries to run. Jinwoo just flicks his hand — the guy flies and hits the wall. Blood.
The fight is over. 8 seconds. Silence.
Moment: Jinwoo Turns
The rain has stopped.
Jinwoo turns silently. For the first time… he looks at Prithvi. Her eyes are full of fear. Tears are stuck to her cheek… But still… she's calm.
Her heartbeat slows… DUM… DUM… DUM…
> Jinwoo (inner voice):
> "This world isn't safe for girls."
>
Prithvi is still silent… No words. Just eye contact.
> Jinwoo (soft, single line):
> "Now, please go safely…"
>
He turns. Walks away. The rain starts again.
Only her heartbeat remains.
Scene: Prithvi's House – Late Night
The rain is falling lightly… The streetlight flickers… a slow breeze blows.
As Prithvi opens her gate, she feels as if a boy is standing to the side. His face isn't clear in the shadows… but his eyes seem to be following her.
Prithvi closes the gate and silently goes inside the house.
The figure… fades away…
Scene: Prithvi's Room – Midnight
Prithvi is in bed, thinking.
> "What would have happened to me if that guy wasn't there?"
> "He looked like a normal college student… But that strength? That speed? How terrifyingly calm he was…"

Prithvi falls asleep…
Scene: The Next Morning – College Ground
A new day… It's the first week for freshmen, and the college campus is full of people.
As Prithvi finishes class and walks toward the canteen… she suddenly sees the same figure. The same look. The same silent aura.
He's standing there in casual clothes… but the feeling of that calmness and power is the same.
Prithvi walks directly toward him.
First Words
> Prithvi:
> "Hey… what's your name?"
>
> Boy (low tone):
> "Jinwoo."
>
> Prithvi:
> "Nice name. My name is Prithvi. You're the one who helped me last night. Thanks."
>
> Jinwoo:
> "It's okay."
>
> Prithvi:
> "What are you doing here? Are you a student?"
>
> Jinwoo:
> "Yes. 3rd year."
>
> Prithvi:
> "Oh… same college! I'm in my first year. Are you free now? Can we talk?"
>
> Jinwoo:
> "No. I don't have time."
>
> Prithvi (with a mild smile):
> "Why do you say that? Why are you always alone?"
>
> Jinwoo (calm tone):
> "I like being alone. I don't need to talk to you."
>
> Prithvi:
> "If we talk, we'll get to understand each other better, right…? I feel like I want to know a little about you."
>
> Jinwoo:
> "What you want to know about me… it's not good for you. There are a lot of things inside me… and I don't tell any of it to anyone."
>
Jinwoo calmly turns and walks away… Prithvi stands silently… The scene slowly fades.
