Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Transmigration, Let the Wind of Beginning Blow!

"Oh! So I've transmigrated into Ash!"

Staring at his unfamiliar reflection in the water and the Pikachu perched on his shoulder, Aleck couldn't help but wear a helpless expression. Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined crossing worlds to become the protagonist Ash.

From the flooding memories, Ash had just completed his first regional journey through Kanto. He'd placed Top 16 in the Indigo League and earned the title of Honorary Trainer at the Orange League before returning to Pallet Town.

Just moments ago, he'd packed up with traveling companions Brock and Misty, ready to head west toward Johto to challenge the Johto League.

Professor Samuel had also entrusted him with a special mission: deliver the mysterious GS Ball to Mr. Kurt in Azalea Town, Johto.

"From now on, I am Ash!"

The disorienting sensation vanished instantly as Aleck's soul fused with Ash's, forging a brand-new Ash.

"Now, the Johto Silver Conference, Hoenn Ever Grande Conference, Sinnoh Lily of the Valley Conference, Unova Vertress Conference... I'll conquer every League Championship! Then I'll become Kanto Champion to fulfill my pre-transmigration regrets!"

Ash clenched his fist fiercely. This journey would leave no room for regrets, making his crossover worthwhile.

"Honestly though, original Ash's Johto performance was downright disappointing. None of his Johto starter Pokémon reached their final evolutionary stages, and his tournament showing was lackluster."

"Worse, during his Kanto travels, he loaned out or released most Pokémon he caught. Aside from Charizard, they barely got screen time. Bulbasaur got the rawest deal—turned into a glorified nanny at Professor Oak's lab."

As a transmigrator, Ash discovered he'd inherited a system: the Bond System.

The name reminded him of Ash-Greninja's unique Battle Bond evolution during the Kalos journey. Though it ultimately lost to Mega Charizard X due to type disadvantage, that league run remained original Ash's peak performance.

Beyond its built-in shop and storage space, the system featured a Bond Value prompt function.

It measured Ash's connection with his Pokémon. Once Bond Value hit a threshold, they could achieve Battle Bond evolution like Greninja.

Even Mega Stone-dependent Charizard could evolve into Ash-Charizard through this bond.

How epic would that be?

The system shop only offered Pokémon items and psychic abilities like Viridian Power or Dragon Power—no Pokémon exchanges.

Exchange Points came from battle victories, scaling with performance.

After one region's journey, the system granted him 3,000 starter points—a decent foundation.

"Wait... should I exchange for Aura Power?"

Original-series Ash knew he possessed dormant Aura abilities, hailed as "the Pikachu-wielding Wave-Guiding Hero," though he'd never trained them.

He theorized that original Ash's Battle Bond stemmed from this latent power.

3,000 points secured him basic Aura Power.

A blue glow shimmered around Ash as techniques flooded his mind.

"Pikachu?"

Pikachu tilted its head, sensing the change.

"Alright, partner. Counting on you!" Ash checked the Bond Values.

Pikachu: 180/255

Charizard: 140/255

Snorlax: 120/255

Squirtle: 120/175

Bulbasaur: 120/180

Confused by the numbers, Ash queried the system.

Compatibility determined his maximum achievable Bond Value.

This wasn't fixed—it grew through evolution stages, training, and shared experiences.

Like couples developing resemblances over time.

Battle Bond required maxing compatibility at 255.

Currently, only Pikachu, Charizard, and Snorlax had potential.

Snorlax's compatibility genuinely surprised him.

Pikachu, despite lacking final evolution, scored remarkably high—a true soulmate exception. Fate's chosen indeed!

As for Squirtle and Bulbasaur? Neither sought evolution. He wouldn't force them.

"Pikachu!"

Pikachu puffed its cheeks, brimming with "leave-it-to-me" determination.

"Ash! What's taking so long? We're lost!"

Misty's frustrated shout snapped him back to reality.

They'd left Pallet Town heading west toward New Bark Town—where the wind of beginnings blows.

A single forest separated them from their destination until thick fog derailed everything. Lost and disoriented, they wandered until his transmigration.

"Relax, Misty! We'll find our way!" With newfound Aura senses, Ash felt certain about navigation now.

Suddenly, an overwhelming yet gentle aura pulsed nearby.

Ash glanced upward. A shimmering blue silhouette materialized on the water's surface.

"Suicune?"

Transmigration knowledge confirmed the Legendary Beast's ethereal form.

Suicune locked eyes with Ash before leaping toward a specific direction—an unmistakable guide.

The aura dissipated instantly, leaving no trace.

"Thank you! Wait for me somewhere in Johto!" Ash shouted, trusting Suicune would hear his vow to the entire Pokémon world.

He was here!

Pokémon across the lands—wait for him!
