Aurora and Elliot quietly walked into the house after their fun day outside, hoping not to wake Dawn up, the time was 2:00 AM.
The sun was on the other side of the globe, and everything is quiet outside, the house was also kind of dark, until…
Dawn ran down the stairs and bounced onto Aurora, surprising her, they looked confused… why is she still awake?
"Mommy! How was your date with daddy?!" She yelled excitedly.
"It was great," Aurora stated "But shouldn't you be asleep?"
"Yeah! I am! But Auntie fell asleep before me so I couldn't sleep after that!" She told them… her tirelessness was obvious.
"Honey, you really should sleep… okay?" Elliot advised.
"Okay, but only after you tell me what you did after Auntie told you the advice!" She teased while giggling.
"What advice?" Aurora asked, confused "She gave me hundreds of bad advises that were so stupid that even a rock would be baffled by."
"The one where she told you to think about confessing to dad!" She once again yelled.
"That?" Aurora rolled her eyes and sighed before putting down her purse onto the drawer next to the door.
"Come on, I'll tell you in bed." She ordered as she walked upstairs, she noticed the slightly open door that leads to Dawn's room.
After a slight push, she saw Natalie sleeping peacefully on Dawn's bed, the storybook still in her hand.
"I really can't trust her with those kinds of jobs, now can I?" Aurora sighed as she slowly closed the door.
Aurora sat onto her bed, and immediately, Dawn came running in and jumped into the bed, laughing.
But as she settled down on one of the pillows, she yawned, and so did Aurora…
"Now let's get this over with so we can sleep." she said.

The words were stuck to me like glue… no matter how I try to shake them off… I can't.
"They say this phase is what determines your love, so it's not too late! If you spend these years working and studying, you'll NEVER find love and WILL end up ALONE!"
I want to focus on studying… but I don't wanna be alone.
I opened my eyes, the usual dark ceiling greeting me as the night stretched on… thank God I was able to finish all those assignments…
But… now I feel bad for Elliot, he just got out of the hospital and the finals are approaching, what will he do?
Do… doing can sometimes be subconscious… our feelings can sometimes affect our subconscious… feelings… love… Elliot…
Do I love him? I don't know, but I can't get him out of my head, and I have that feeling like I wanna hug him…
My body jolted and hugged the blankets as I accidentally let a squeal out…
Attempting to forget what just happened, I tossed and turned, but this feeling is keeping me up… guilt… the guilt of not helping him… the guilt of making fun of him…
Damn it… I'll sleep no matter what!
After struggling the whole night, I finally slept, two hours before I was supposed to wake up but I did it…
When I woke up, I felt like my whole body was a weight… so heavy…
I dragged myself, but in the end, I was able to get ready for school.
The shower, the dressing, the make up… all of it are things I have to do before going to school…
I just wish I were a boy… just a shower and a t-shirt and jeans… getting ready in just a minute… that must be the best dream.
After arriving and seeing Elliot for the first time in forever, looking left at him, as always.
"Hey…" My tone was tired, low… But… Even through this tiredness… I feel happy… Excited… Content…
"HI! What's up?" He asked, his tone was happy, like he doesn't have a full year's worth of assignments and tests.
"VERY Tired, you?" I put my head down onto the desk, wrapping my hands around it, I slightly lift my head and put my head on top of my forearms.
"I'm great, just found out they excused 70% of my missing assignments!" He said cheerfully.
Huh?… am I dreaming? Is that even legal? What… ever…
My eyes closed on themselves, all the classroom noises blurred and disappeared.
I started dreaming…
"Elliot… I love you!" I yelled, the ocean behind me… the sunset casting an orange light that made this place look more beautiful than it already is.
He stared at me, before slowly walking, then running, he immediately hugged me and stopped, spinning a bit, I now faced the ocean and the sunset.
"I love you too! I'll never leave you!" He said, his face closing in to mine…
"I won't either…" My face also closing in to his…
"-WAKE UP!!"
I jolted awake, the teacher staring at me, crossing her arms.
"YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN SLEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CLASS!?" the teacher screamed, her face was about to explode "WHY DIDN'T YOU SLEEP EARLIER IF YOU'RE GONNA SLEEP HERE?!"
After she finished yelling, I was able to keep awake… and at lunch, I sat at my usual table, girls trying to befriend me and all.
I stared at Elliot who was standing around at the window. I'm going to him…
I got up, ignoring the girls as they yap aimlessly, the air filled with drivel.
"Hey! Come with me…" I walked towards him, he immediately turned to me.
"Sure, but where?" He asked.
"The garden." I gestured him to follow, and he did follow as I walked towards the garden.
When we arrived, I sat at a bench, sighing, he stayed standing, not even sitting.
"Sit…" I patted the spot next to me.
He adjusted his glasses before sitting down, looking away, even when he looked my way… he didn't look at me directly.
Tell him…
Don't…
Do it!
You can't trust him!
He's the best guy you met! Don't let this opportunity slip by you!
Your parents will kill you if you do!
The silence around us was nice… the leaves rustling, the air quietly howling, the flowers in the garden that are usually taken care of by the gardening club, created a nice and beautiful atmosphere.
I looked up at the sunny, yet slightly cloudy skies, a small dark cloud moving through the sky…
TELL HIM!
It repeated hundreds of times… never stopping, repeating over and over…
"Elliot…" I opened my mouth, but I hesitated.
I then sighed… grabbing an apple from the nearby tree… convenient…
I then lightly threw the apple at him… hoping he'd get it… I just hope he does…
Greek behavior can sometimes be useful… sometimes…
I mean it worked for… THAT girl… Aphrodite…
Elliot looked at me confused as he caught the apple, he then got up and walked away.
Did I offend him? Maybe it didn't work…
After school, I was about to walk home, when I noticed that the ground outside was wet, the sound of rain filling the air.
The smell of dust and humidity, the cloudy skies…
I pulled up my hoodie, but before I could step out.
"Hey! Aurora!" He called out.
I turned to him, he was holding an open umbrella, his other hand in the air, he put down his hand and ran to me.
"Let's go home together!" He cheerfully suggested.
This guy is dense… but at least he's sweet.
We walked under the rain, we were awkwardly silent, but I can tell he didn't mind.
"It's peaceful" Elliot whispered, snapping me back to reality.
"It is…" I said… taking a deep breath.
"We… We should hang out sometime… you know?" He awkwardly said… cute…
"I agree… We should." I replied.
When he got me to my home, I waved goodbye as I walked in, he waved back…
The sun shined through a crack between the clouds… at the same time… A rainbow appeared.
Nearby, a beautiful flower flourished and opened…
