Chapter 15 - Chapter 7: The Aftermath & Next Moves VI

Scene 6: A Storm Behind Closed Doors (Live)

The morning sunlight barely filtered through Han Yue's window when she suddenly sensed movement outside her door.

Three people—Han Jiaojiao, Han Feifei, and Han Jun—were approaching, their angry expressions almost palpable through the walls.

She closed her laptop, sneering coldly. So, the snakes come to hiss.

Without hesitation, she opened Weibo and started a Live Broadcast.

Within the first minute, over 25,000 viewers flooded her livestream room. Her recent viral statement had already brought her a huge following. Viewers flooded the chat with greetings, curiosity, and gossip.

@peachyTea89: omg she's live again?? 😳

@yuansnacker: best morning surprise! good skin and drama, thank u universe

@melancholyMilk: her room… it looks so plain? this is the Han family??

@glitterati.bunny: why does her room look like a guest room from 2010?? 💀

@princeLoyalty: they claim to treasure her but can't even upgrade her furniture… tragic

Han Yue, dressed in soft peach homewear, sat gracefully on a simple chair, her skin glowing with natural light. She waved sweetly at the screen.

"Thank you all for believing in me. I just wanted to say—my sister Jiaojiao is truly innocent. She would never glare at me, or insult me, or plot behind my back..."

Right then, the door was violently kicked open.

BANG!

Han Yue flinched, gasped, and stood up in fright, eyes wide with visible panic. The netizens exploded.

@watermelon4breakfast: THE DRAMA IS LIVE

@ceilingcatsees: yessss let us EAT 🍿

@jadelioncourt: applause to the host for opening the stage clap clap👏👏👏

@sugarbutterknife: did that girl just barge in and start GLARING?? jiaojiao honey ur mask slipped lol

Storming into the room were Han Jiaojiao, livid and trembling; Han Feifei, red with fury; and Han Jun, cold and condescending.

Han Feifei was the first to shout.

"Are you pretending to be stupid?! Why did you post that video?! Do you have any idea what you've done?!"

Han Jun's voice followed, deeper and more cutting.

"I knew you were jealous of Jiaojiao. Mother, Father… even I care for her. But that doesn't give you the right to ruin her reputation. Take the video down and remake it properly. We'll tell you what to say."

Han Yue blinked rapidly, tears brimming in her eyes.

"I... I didn't mean to... I just—"

"You like making me look bad, don't you?!" Han Jiaojiao snapped with venom.

"I never glared at you, never talked behind your back! Why do you keep twisting things?!"

@tofuonfire: girl you're literally glaring right now lol

@truthsnackz: this is scary. her eyes are full of hate. what is going ON

@grandeldream: han jun is actually disgusting. siding with the fake one over your real sis?? tf

@bunbun_bibi: Feifei is RUDE. No respect to Han Yue and clearly copying Jiaojiao's mean girl vibes

Han Yue's voice cracked.

"I've only been back for a few days… but it already feels like everyone hates me."

She wiped her tears.

"At the welcome party, you—Feifei and Jiaojiao—you framed me. You said I pushed her in the pool. But I wasn't even close… everyone believed I was some evil girl. I just… kept my head down..."

Feifei, furious and careless, screamed:

"You deserved it! That juice should've spilled all over you, maybe then you'd learn your place, you poor orphaned bastard!"

The room went deathly silent.

So did the chat.

Then—

@nosybydefault: …she really said that.

@cleverclove: yup. it's real. they plotted everything.

@matchagraves: I KNEW IT!!! I SAW THE POOL VIDEO—SHE WASN'T NEAR JIAOJIAO

@salty_candle: wtf even IS this family. I wanna hug Han Yue 😭

@buzzwords101: #JusticeForHanYue is trending. Holy crap.

@melonmonday: Han Feifei just tanked her own life with one sentence lmao

A panicked maid burst in, too late.

"Miss! You're still live! Stop the broadcast now!"

The realization hit all three like lightning. Their faces went from fury to pure horror.

Too late.

Han Yue looked at the camera, still sniffling.

"I just wanted to tell everyone not to bully my sister Jiaojiao anymore. Please don't make her sad… but… they suddenly barged in…"

She blinked away tears, bowed her head, and gently ended the livestream.

The mansion fell into a suffocating silence.

Han Jifu was at work, but the incident was quickly reported by his secretary. Madam Lin was comforting Jiaojiao—who was wailing about being "framed"—and scolded Han Yue without even watching the footage.

Han Yue returned to her room, locked the door, and sat on her bed.

Then smirked.

The net was already tearing into those three.

Every major platform had the video reposted and top-commented. Someone—perhaps even a fan—was actively buying top search space to keep the truth in circulation. The Han Family's legal team? Useless.

Her WeChat chimed.

It was Long Yichen.

"I saw the livestream. Are you safe?

Let's meet tomorrow morning at 9am, at a café near your area. I want to make sure you're okay."

Han Yue smiled softly, her heart fluttering.

Finally. A chance to talk to Long Yi.

The rest of the day passed quietly. She curled up in bed, reading netizen comments and watching as her enemies were shredded by public opinion.

A satisfying end to a chaotic day.
