Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"Miera... an ordinary girl living her ordinary life. Dreaming about a different world, a different life. Reading her little web novels, writing and daydreaming, and of course! Cats. Those little cuties were her favorite beings. She had a pretty good life-"

Someone knocked on the door while Miera was writing a story, sitting at her desk. She leaned back and quickly put her notebook away when her mom came in.

"Oh? What happened?"

"Here you go," her mother said as she put the teacup on the table. "Drink before it gets cold."

Then she left Miera alone with her dreams. Miera sighed and took the cup while staring out the window, thinking about how she hated school.

Later at night, Miera heard a sound from her window while lying on her bed. It was impossible for someone to knock on her window since it was the 5th floor. She felt scared and laid back down.

Almost 10 minutes passed and Miera was still rethinking her life choices as she stared at the window. She slowly got up and headed toward the window. Suddenly, she felt a sharpness behind her neck and fell to the ground.

"That was... unexpected..."

Miera opened her eyes and sat up. She was in her room, in her bed, perfectly fine.

"First of all, how in the world did I get here from the ground...? Oh, that might be a dream... Anyway."

She looked at the clock-it was early for school. Then she got up and headed to the bathroom.

"Oh God..."

Her face was blank, and it looked like a black hole. She felt uneasy and her heart was beating like crazy. Miera fell back in horror. She felt someone catch her, but before she could even feel anything, everything went dark.

Miera opened her eyes to find herself in class. It was history class. The teacher was talking about homework while some of her classmates stared at the clock. As the bell rang, everyone rushed out before the teacher could even say something. Miera slowly got up, and she felt like she had forgotten something... something important.

"Oh, my backpa-"

She bumped into something hard and fell to the ground. She looked up to see a boy with... white hair? But before she could get up, the boy spoke:

"Are you gonna get up, or are you glued to the floor?" he said, his hands on the sides of his pants.

Miera got up and tidied her clothes as she took her backpack. As she was about to leave, she couldn't move her feet.

"Hm? Why did you stop now? You were ignoring me very well a moment ago."

The white-haired boy leaned to the side, staring right into Miera's soul.

"Orrr... you just simply can't move, hm?"

Miera looked around-no one was here other than that weirdo and her. She couldn't move her body, not even an inch.

"What should I call you, I wonder? Aurelia or Miera... Well, my Aurelia wouldn't have to ignore me, I think. So that means you're not her?"

The white-haired boy looked at her, both confused and excited.

Miera squinted her eyes as she looked away. She sighed and said:

"Well, I'm definitely not the one you're looking for. And what the hell are you? Are you a part of my dream? Or am I dead? I mean, how did you even get here? Why can't I move?"

He tilted his head to the other side as he straightened his back.

"Too many questions at once, but I think we should cut our conversation here now. You're not really social, are you? You're gonna get a lot of friends now... Hehe..."

Miera stared at him.

"'Hehe'..? You can't leave me like that! I can't move and I might go crazy without knowing what's going o-"

Miera felt dizzy and slowly lost her consciousness. The last thing she saw was that weirdo walking away while waving.
