Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 – Arms Shattered… But I’ve Finally Done It!

Good charged back into battle against Whitebeard once more.

This time, Marco, Vista, and the other division commanders didn't even try to stop him—they'd learned their lesson. Good's strength wasn't something they could handle.

No matter how often he was injured, he would always recover.

Only a true Emperor like Pops could go toe to toe with such a monster.

Their furious clash made the already crumbling island begin to collapse even faster.

Chunks of the coastline were crumbling into the sea.

Though Good had previously defeated both Akainu and Shiki, this time was different. This was Whitebeard—the world's strongest man.

Back then, Akainu hadn't gone all-out, and Shiki had been injured and shackled, far from his prime.

Now, Good was getting overwhelmed.

Whitebeard's constant blows, empowered by the Gura Gura no Mi (Tremor-Tremor Fruit), contorted Good's body and shook his insides violently with each hit.

It was reminiscent of how Akainu got rocked during the Marineford War in the original timeline.

But unlike Akainu, Good had a cheat code—his self-healing ability.

Injuries that should've put him out of commission were instead burned away as he burned through stamina to heal again and again.

If not for that recovery power, he'd have been a blood-soaked wreck by now.

Whitebeard may have been aging and ill, but he was still a monster in battle.

In truth, Whitebeard was playing the long game—pushing Good to his limits, waiting for that final opening. If he could force Good to burn through all his stamina, one final blow could end it.

What he didn't know was:

Good, at full power, could recover from fatal wounds 12 times.

These minor injuries? They weren't draining him much at all.

So while Whitebeard kept knocking Good back, the surrounding pirates were cheering like mad.

They were convinced: victory was near.

No matter how often he got up, the end was only a matter of time.

Morale soared on the pirate side—while on the Marine side, spirits sank.

Their Fourth Admiral was being crushed.

If reinforcements didn't arrive soon, this whole operation was doomed.

Kizaru once again proposed retreat.

And this time, Akainu didn't object.

His face dark, he shouted up at Good:

"Reckless Maniac! Stop wasting time with Whitebeard—find a chance and retreat!"

Kuzan was still occupied elsewhere, and the Fleet Admiral couldn't leave Marineford.

They were deep in the New World—any minute now, Kaido or Big Mom could show up. That would be a nightmare.

Even Momousagi was shouting:

"Admiral Good! Please, pull back!"

But Good wasn't listening.

His system was about to complete replication of both Gura Gura no Mi and Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki).

How could he leave now?!

Good kept charging in, yelling:

"No way I'm retreating until Whitebeard's been captured!"

"Don't worry—JUST KEEP FIGHTING!"

Again and again, he attacked.

Again and again, Whitebeard sent him flying.

[Replication Progress – Gura Gura no Mi: 89%]

[Replication Progress – Haoshoku Haki: 78%]

So he pressed on.

Akainu, watching this, couldn't help but feel shaken.

This wasn't just recklessness. It was fearless courage.

Even legends like Sengoku and Garp would be wary of facing Whitebeard.

But Good—a newly minted Admiral—was charging at him like he didn't give a damn.

This kind of raw, unflinching battle spirit made Akainu's respect for Good rise.

He wasn't like Kuzan or Kizaru. If he survived and grew stronger, he would become a true nightmare to pirates everywhere.

This—was true justice.

Whitebeard swung his blade again. Good barely dodged backward, avoiding a direct hit.

And then—Good retaliated with a strike from an impossible angle.

Even Whitebeard's sharp eyes narrowed in surprise. He moved to block—barely making it in time.

This brat... is learning my habits that fast?

Good's battle instincts were terrifying.

Whitebeard had sensed it earlier, when Good fought Marco and the others—but now, fighting him directly, he confirmed it.

He's the real deal.

But Whitebeard wasn't called the world's strongest for nothing.

Even while blocking, he twisted his stance and redirected his blade—

—A vertical quake slash from point blank.

Even Good couldn't avoid that one.

His arms flew up to block, covered in Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki).

But it wasn't enough.

The overwhelming force of Whitebeard's Quake-Infused Haki Slash ripped through his defenses.

The Haki shattered—flesh tore—and his bones snapped.

Good's arms dropped uselessly at his sides, crimson flooding the ground beneath him.

Whitebeard took a deep breath, a bit winded—but smirked.

He'd crippled the man's arms.

And Good was visibly tired.

The surrounding pirates cheered wildly.

Whitebeard had done it—Good's arms were destroyed. He couldn't fight anymore.

Victory was near.

Akainu and Kizaru's faces darkened.

Akainu growled:

"Kizaru. Get Good out of there."

"There's no point continuing this. He can't win."

Kizaru nodded. There was no point dragging this out.

He transformed into golden light and flew toward Good.

At that moment, Good stood there, his arms ruined, barely connected by scraps of flesh. His bones visibly cracked.

But his eyes shone like twin suns.

Because in his mind, the system had just spoken:

[Replication Complete – Gura Gura no Mi (Tremor-Tremor Fruit)]

[Replication Progress – Haoshoku Haki: 78% → 100% (Unlock Pending)]

[Now entering: Mastery Phase…]

He had done it.
