Seraphina's POV
"Blake, seriously," I tried again, pushing at his shoulders. "We really need to stop—"
"Mate likes it," he murmured against my skin, his voice dropping to something darker, more primal. "Blake can smell it. Mate's heart is racing. Mate wants this too."
My face burned. Damn the werewolf senses. Damn the mate bond that made hiding anything impossible.
He was right, though. I did like it. Too much.
His mouth continued its path down my neck, marking me with deliberate care. Each kiss, each gentle scrape of teeth sent electricity shooting through my veins.
My fingers had somehow tangled in his hair, and instead of pushing him away, I found myself holding him closer.
This was insane. We were in his office. In the middle of the day. But rational thought was becoming harder and harder to hold onto.
