Synopsis
I was just your average college student with a passion for anime, gacha games, and questionable life decisions. Then I died. Classic truck-kun moment. But instead of heading to the afterlife, I got an unexpected offer from a mysterious voice: reincarnate into the world of High School DxD… with a twist. Now I’m reborn as a teenage boy in Kuoh Academy, armed with a glitchy but powerful Gacha Template System. My first draw? Frisk—the soul of Determination itself. I can talk my way out of fights, reset time (sort of), and dodge attacks like I’ve been dodging responsibilities my whole life. But nothing’s ever simple in the DxD world. Angels, devils, and dragons want a piece of me, and Rias Gremory seems very interested in what’s hiding in my soul. Between unlocking new templates, fending off yandere supernatural beings, and navigating awkward romance with girls who can literally kill me, this new life is going to be one wild ride. ______ (Fanfiction Written By AI)

Chapter 1 - Truck-kun Has No Chill

I knew something was wrong the second I stepped out of my apartment and saw the cat.

Not a normal cat, mind you. This one was sitting in the middle of the road, completely unfazed by the speeding delivery truck barreling down the hill. And me? Like an idiot, I ran after it. Because of course I did.

Spoiler alert: I didn't save the cat.

I woke up to nothing. No pain. No noise. Just white. Everywhere. The kind of empty space that makes you wonder if you accidentally glitched out of existence like a corrupted save file.

"Hello?" I called out. "Is this… heaven? Hell? A loading screen?"

A soft chime echoed around me. Then, a screen appeared in front of my face like I'd booted up a mobile game:

[Welcome, Chosen Soul!]

[You have died in a karmically neutral fashion.]

[You qualify for the Reincarnation Lottery.]

[Spin the wheel to determine your new world and starting package!]

"…I knew I should've read those terms and conditions on life."

Before I could complain further, a roulette wheel appeared with various anime worlds spinning around: Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Boku no Pico—NOPE, skipped that one real fast—and finally…

[High School DxD]

The wheel slowed. Click… click… click… and stopped.

"…Seriously?" I blinked. "I'm going to die again in like a week."

But there was no arguing with fate. A second wheel appeared.

[1x Free Template Roll Granted!]

[Template Rarity: Random]

[Drawing…]

I crossed my fingers. Please be Kirito. Or maybe Gojo. Hell, even someone from Dragon Ball.

The screen dinged:

[Congratulations!]

You have received:

[Frisk - Soul of Determination]

Rarity: Legendary

Trait: Pacifist Power, Reset Instinct, Soul Visibility

"…Frisk? As in Undertale? That tiny, silent menace that can kill gods or hug them into submission?"

I didn't know whether to be excited or terrified.

[Installing soul…]

[Reincarnating into new body…]

[Warning: Your new form will attract supernatural attention.]

"Wait, what does that mean—"

BOOM.

I gasped as I woke up in a bed, drenched in sweat and confusion. Sunlight filtered through the window. Birds chirped. My hands were small. Too small.

No.

I scrambled out of bed and ran to the mirror. Brown hair, golden eyes. Teenager. Definitely not my original body.

"Okay… this is fine. This is fine."

I paused.

"…I can feel my soul."

There was a gentle hum in my chest. Like something eternal had been stapled into my being. I blinked and saw faint colored orbs hovering around me: little wisps of red, green, blue… It wasn't chakra. It wasn't magic. It was emotion. Intention. Determination.

And beneath it all, a soft whisper.

You are filled with Determination.

The door burst open.

"Come on! You'll be late for school, Haru!"

"Coming, nee-san!" I shouted automatically, even though I had no idea who she was.

Note to self: figure out who I am now.

As I grabbed my uniform and rushed downstairs, one thing was clear:

I had just reincarnated into the chaotic, perverted, demon-infested world of High School DxD…

…armed with a gacha system and the soul of a pacifist god.

What could possibly go wrong?
