Chapter 3 - Hera and Gandalf

-Hera... daughter of Helm, the previous king of Rohan... it really is amusing. - Smaug thought for a moment and removed his eye from the sky. He knew Gandalf would feel it, so it was best not to overdo it.

It was strange to see the girl who appeared in an animation in reality, she was beautiful, very beautiful, probably around twenty to thirty years old, but being a descendant of Numenor, even if very distant, she still has a long life, perhaps she can live between 150-200 years.

He was interested in her for a while, but not for long, he came to his senses and began flying towards a nest of orcs, ready to get more females and devour corruption.

The figure of the trio was soon forgotten by the dragon.

A month passed and a new litter of little monsters arrived, this time the little moon elves helped to take care of the smaller ones, the growing group already reached 250 with the newborn babies.

Smaug had a preliminary plan to reach a thousand first, so the wood elves without memories could only continue to be milked.

More female orcs arrived and the number of pregnant women had already reached more than five hundred, just a little more and he would have enough to establish the first population of his small kingdom.

But thinking about the elves with trolls, he decided to look for some trolls to try.

So, taking advantage of the night rain, as he went to the gray mountains this time, he searched for trolls and found some on the mountain tops, he discovered 3 females, he went down and used mental magic, now more powerful with his growing magic, controlling them one by one and sucking their corruption.

His scales were now shiny black, his size, however, did not increase much, but this was controlled by him, bigger is not always better, growing more would decrease his speed when flying.

He took the three Trolls and flew away, when he arrived at the mountain, Tauriel was teaching the moon elves, who preferred the night, to shoot archery, when she saw the three trolls brought, her lips trembled and she felt sorry for her subordinates, she could only sigh with regret.

Looking at the children, they were all their children, how would they feel when they found out?

Among the little moon elves, a little girl in a black dress ran up to him happily. "King, you're back, what are those things? They stink so much!"

Smaug chuckled softly and said, "These are Trolls, they will create a different variation of elves, also your companions."

"Different kind of elves?" She asked curiously. "What will they be like?"

"Well, I don't know, we'll have to find out together." Smaug snorted lightly and let the trolls follow him inside. Helena wanted to keep asking, but Tauriel caught her and took her back. The little girl pouted, but went back to the line to train.

She remembers what the king said, she was the first born, her name was given to her by him, the others were chosen by Tauriel, the king said, that on dragon mountain, the fist speaks louder, so if she wanted to be the leader of the night elves, she should train more!

She didn't know if she wanted this, but she wanted to make the king proud, she felt happy when he praised her, she wouldn't let him down!

So she got back in line and practiced hard.

Tauriel sighed and went back to guiding the little elves, the bows and arrows they used were made by themselves, her first lesson was to make their own bow and arrows, they learned well, they were still rudimentary, but they were improving.

Clothes were also taken from the dwarves' houses, the small size helped, but in the future they would need more.

Tauriel looked up at the moon above her and then at the small white heads and had mixed emotions.

Smaug said he removed the corruption from the orcs before they gave birth, so these children were born pure. The orcs themselves were raised by elves, so are these pure elves? It's hard to say. She only knows that the way they were raised is unnatural, but she saw the innocence and kindness of the elves in them.

So she resigned herself and continued to teach them, she couldn't control it at this point, she couldn't even think about running away or harming the children or the dragon, so she could only go on with her life in peace.

On the other side, the orcs helped the Trolls to fertilize themselves, it only took 3 days for the three of them to be pregnant, the babies also held much more vitality inside them, they were growing even faster than the moon elf babies.

Meanwhile he started thinking about taking dwarves and Hobbits to start the process with them, but instead of elves, he would use orcs on them, so the life expectancy would not be very good, especially for the Hobbits.

He was too lazy to care about it and decided to wait for the moon elves and half-trolls to grow up, then he could hand over management to someone else.

Tauriel was already very busy and with the help of the pregnant orcs, she could barely take care of these children, luckily they grew up quickly.

Helena visited him every day, asking about all kinds of doubts she had, one of which made him think a little.

-King, are you our father? Or are those elves our parents? - She asked curiously.

-Hmm... in terms of giving you life, they were the ones responsible, but without me, they would never have agreed to have children with orcs, so if it weren't for me, you wouldn't exist, so I'm your father in the sense of being your creator, they in the sense of giving you life. - The dragon answered after thinking for a moment.

Using her magic to help Helena not think too much of the elves, seeing them only as sperm donors.

-I see... so we are your children! - Helena nodded understandingly.

"Yes, all moon elves in the future will be known as children of Smaug, as will all other creatures I create," he explained calmly.

Helena pouted, dissatisfied, making Smaug chuckle lightly.

-Don't be jealous, my little one, you will always be unique in my heart. - The dragon promised.

The little girl smiled happily, hugging his snout tightly, making him laugh.

He thought for a moment and spat something out. A silver tiara studded with rubies that matched her hair and eyes, he carefully lifted it between his nails and placed it on Helena's head. "Here, I hereby declare you Princess over Dragon Mountain."

The little boy placed his hands on the tiara and smiled widely, his eyes filled with tears, making Smaug look surprised, only for Helena to hug his snout and cry a lot, leaving him confused.

-Little girl, don't cry, if you didn't like the tiara I can choose another one. - He sighed resignedly, still confused.

-No! I like it! - She stopped hugging her head and held the tiara tightly. - I'm just happy...

-Well, but you don't need to cry, you are the greatest warrior of the moon elves, you shouldn't cry. - He persuaded.

The little girl struggled to swallow her tears with difficulty, Smaug talked to her to make her divert her attention until she fell asleep on his snout.

Smaug sighed, looked behind a column, and said, "Tauriel, take her to her room."

Tauriel appeared, looking at him between doubt, confusion and curiosity, but she didn't comment or apologize for snooping, she knew he knew, so it wasn't snooping!

She approached, took the girl from the dragon's snout and left quickly, giving him one last look.

He rolled his eyes at the elf and smiled, to win over the elf, he must first show that he is not just an evil dragon.

Sighing and thinking about Helena, he narrowed his eyes, he actually began to like the little girl's presence more than he can admit, he is very lenient with her, although he pretends otherwise, of course, for those who see from afar they still notice his clear favoritism, the other moon elves are a little envious, but he works with his mind constantly, putting loyalty and brotherhood between them.

He doesn't want infighting anyway.

Sighing, he took advantage of the cloudy sky to use the sky eye.

Hidden among the clouds, the great eye appeared, looking around, it did this from time to time, mainly looking at the lake city.

He first wanted to use this to see if he could find more Arkenstones in the mountain, but it didn't work, he can see through matter, but he can't see where there is no light in the first place.

The stone itself emits light, but searching inside the mountain for a small stone is... impossible, he would have to be incredibly lucky, so he gave up.

Looking at the city from the side, the people of Dalle had settled down by this point, he also saw a familiar trio there, Gandalf, Hera, and Olwyn.

Looking at Hera again, his claws itched a little, this time he could see her better, she had green eyes and red hair as red as blood, unlike Tauriel who looked like autumn leaves, her cheeks had light freckles and she looked brave and valiant with a sword at her waist, beautiful indeed, but feeling Gandalf's gaze, he gave up looking at them and removed his eye from the sky.

Catching the woman would be very difficult in the eyes of the wizard, not catching the wizard would put him in the eyes of many and catching the wizard would create even more problems for him, problems he doesn't want right now.

The moon elves are still far from being ready for combat, apart from the other races, the mountain is still not safe, if Sauron knows what he is doing, he can try to stop him or control him, he does not accept either.

You know, Sauron is not the type to share power, besides, once he wins, Middle Earth will be infested with dark races, he prefers the beautiful world over the ugly one, so he gave up.

Speaking of dark, he was thinking about where to get more corruption, avoiding Mordor, just clearing out orcs and other dark creatures was proving too slow.

He began to think about the darkness of the world, his first thought was Utumno, the first stronghold of Melkor, or later known as Morgoth, master of Sauron.

But this place was sunk in water, as was much of ancient Middle Earth.

He dismissed Utumno and turned to the next, Moria, actually the place where the Balrog came from, it may have been part of Utumno, the dwarves may have dug a tunnel that connected to that place, that would explain the Balrog.

Smaug was excited by this, not only the corruption but also the treasures, but he also feared the dangers he might find there, after all it was still Melkor's stronghold, so he was gathering strength before continuing.

Minas Morgul is also a very corrupted place, but also Sauron's territory.

Sauron was currently in Dol Guldur, so that place was a big no.

In the end, Moria was the best option.

But he would wait, it was not time yet, his strength was growing, not only his personal strength, but also his armies...

On the other side, Gandalf frowned again, looked at the confused sky and thought about what he heard the day Erebor fell.

-An eye appeared in the sky, sinister, almost the color of the sky, but there was a black slit, it narrowed, as if swallowing everything, watching everything below with malice and terror... - The man repeated.

-Strange magic, Smaug? Where did he learn it?

Gandalf sighed, afraid for the world, but he put it aside, Smaug, as bad as he was, was not his current problem, it was finding what had been hidden for so long that most treated it as legends... but Gandalf knew, he would return, he didn't know how, but he could feel it in his being.

At least that was what he felt before, now he felt conflicting feelings, leaving the confused old man even more confused.

He sighed, smoked his pipe, and went back to bed.
