Chapter 2 - Moon Elfs

It only took Smaug a few hours to return, the plot had gone to hell at that point, but he didn't care about that, he's a happy dragon at the moment, so he lay down on the now empty treasure halls and thought about exchanging the dwarven ring he got from Thrain.

The ring decomposed and a new message box appeared.

[Skill Acquired: Life Gift]

[It can transfer vitality, whether to plants or other living beings, making them reach maturity quickly without any kind of physical or genetic problem, but it uses its own vitality to do so.]

Smaug's smile split his face, showing his sharp fangs.

Isn't this perfect for his future plan? As for vitality? He can gain vitality by devouring living beings, no matter how little he gives away.

The order he gave to the orcs was simple, kidnap some females, if you are noticed, kill the others, if you are caught, kill yourself.

Some must return to him with the targets.

Now... he needed elves! It wouldn't be hard to get some in Mirkwood.

The amount of Mithril was less, but he still used it to strengthen himself a bit, the pain was less this time, but it still hurt quite a bit, making him roar.

In the end his scales were more silver, but he also noticed a bit of black after eating the orcs' corruption.

He couldn't just clear out the orcs and let them return, that would attract attention, so he only cleared out the orcs he caught, even if they were caught, they would kill themselves and wouldn't raise much suspicion unless Sauron showed up in person.

It would take several days, maybe a month, because he cleaned the corruption and they were no longer so weak against the sun, it only bothered them slightly.

Meanwhile, he recovered his magic, ready to go to the forest of darkness, there he could eat some corruption and get the elves.

Three days later, after a nap, he flew out during the night, hoping not to attract too much attention, flying high again.

After just a few minutes, he was flying over the northeastern part of the forest, he looked around and saw the elf kingdom, but he didn't go there, he searched the forest and found some corrupted beings, spiders mainly.

They had been spreading for millennia, slowly but surely.

He crouched down and began the hunt, the spiders didn't notice until one of them was devoured as Smaug fell, they screamed and tried to run, but Smaug used his magic to make them hesitate and stop, then he devoured them quickly, he ate them together, not just for their form, but because they were full of life energy.

As soon as they entered his mouth, they seemed to turn into energy and melt inside him, he felt his magic stronger, his vitality stronger and also that he could transform into a spider now.

He didn't, but continued to hunt spider nests scattered around.

The forest was huge, the nests numbered in the hundreds of thousands, losing a few during the night wouldn't be a big deal.

He continued to wander around, looking for spider nests and eating them easily, his magic increasing, as did his strength and vitality.

It was only in the early hours of the morning that he stopped and hid in a deep cave he had found, it was full of orcs, he felt a little silly for having asked the orcs of the grey mountains to go there and forgotten about the orcs of the forest of darkness, in the end he cleared them out and made them help find the elves.

It was near noon that an orc, who could now walk on light with irritation, returned and called out to him.

-Master, master, I found a group of elves, they are going after the spiders about three miles away...

Smaug narrowed his eyes and thought that appearing directly would be counterproductive, he gave an order and flew up, going there, he observed from above, it was difficult to find them, fast over the dense forest, he could only sigh and give up, then he realized that catching elves hidden would not be so easy, so the plans changed.

Finding the orcs, he made them go back and search for orc nests in the forest, they already knew some, but they looked for more.

At night, Smaug attacked again, this time the Orcs, by morning, his followers already numbered in the thousands, but they were all stunted orcs, just like those found in the Grey Mountains, the best ever taken by Sauron.

A thousand orcs... should be enough, but it's better to get more, just in case.

He went further this time during the following night and his group of orcs reached three thousand, they used rudimentary weapons and no armor, but he did not believe that the elves would be able to break the siege, even if they did, they could still capture some.

In the following days he deepened his control and made the Orcs fanatical, he also instructed them to kill each other if captured.

In the end, after almost two weeks there, the ambush happened.

The elves, about ten of them, were besieged, arrows flying but not enough, their swords cutting but resistance fading with them.

Surrounded on all sides, they killed nearly a thousand orcs before they were captured, but it was only because he ordered that they not be seriously injured or maimed on purpose.

All the elves were brought back, he looked at them and smiled, it would be difficult to return them now, after all it was harder to catch them than it seemed, so a whole group disappearing at once... would raise suspicions, if he returned them, magic could be used to release their memories, he would not underestimate the elves, the unconscious elves were tied together he also tied up a hundred female orcs and killed the rest of the orcs, they could not escape the elves, so it was better not to leave loose ends.

He grabbed both charges with his back claws and flew away with slight difficulty.

When the elves realized the clues were confusing, he made the orcs kill each other, so the group of elves did not understand what happened, they could only judge that something evil had controlled the orcs.

Smaug on the other hand had given orders to the female orcs, they didn't look much different from the males, without any large breasts, because the orcs were born already able to eat meat, they were smaller than the males, however, still ugly.

He had the orcs put the elves in prison, he looked at them and noticed that there were 8 male elves and one female, looking at the female with interest, he seemed to notice something, turning her over with his claw, he recognized her. - Tauriel.

"I'm in the world of the movies? Well, that's a relief, but I didn't see Legolas among them, it's a shame." - The dragon smiled. - Now... what to do with you... are you going to keep pretending to sleep?

The elf widened her eyes and jumped, trying to cut him with her dagger, he let her, watching the dagger leave a trail of sparks on his scales, but no damage was seen.

The elf looked shocked and resigned, dropping the dagger and falling to the ground. "Kill me, dragon!"

-Ah... that's a waste... in fact, actually... my plans changed a bit with your arrival, after all... a king still needs an heir... - The dragon smiled, making the elf turn white with fear and confusion, what did she hear? This dragon wanted to do this to her?!

"Ah, don't worry, I still have my morals, although not much, I won't force you, although the elves who came with you aren't so lucky." Smaug laughed lightly, laying his body down and placing one claw over the other.

Tauriel trembled and asked in shock, "What are you going to do with them?!"

"Well, my lovely guest, that's for me to know and for you to find out, until then, forgive me for being rude." He chuckles lightly and a group of orcs came and took her weapons, before taking her to the dungeons.

"Wait! Smaug! Let us go! What do you want with us! Do you want to start a war with the elves?!" Tauriel screamed and struggled, but now unarmed, she posed little threat to the group of orcs.

Smaug ignored her, he snorted in amusement and began to think, his magic had grown a lot during that time, that forest... just breathing there made him slightly stronger, it was small, but it was there, corruption, millennia of hard work for you, Sauron...

After a while, an awakened elf was brought to him, he began to work, the elf screamed and struggled a lot, but in the end, his memories were slightly fading, then he was taken away, with some orcs going with him.

Smaug looked sadly at the elf, feeling bad for a second before letting go.

His previous self would have abhorred his actions, but the current self, with centuries of Smaug's life compared to a few decades of human life, plus the dragon body affecting him, in the end, he could no longer be considered human at this point.

Of course, there was still human mentality, so he used that to instead of having them complete the act, be milked and then the semen would be injected inside them, as it would be injected... well, the dwarves had fire blowers and... he doesn't want to talk about that.

Sighing at the change in mindset, he didn't mind much, he wasn't just Smaug anymore, but he was still Smaug.

He soon began to recover his magic, in the following days he repeated the action, making the elves docile while they were milked by the female orcs.

Tauriel, still locked in the dungeons, only receiving food at certain times, was unaware of the elves' tragic fate, but Smaug still consoled himself thinking that at least he did not force them to finish the act.

After half a month, all the female orcs were pregnant, this was due to him checking on them regularly and putting a little vitality into their wombs every day.

The gestation period of orcs is short, about five to six months, but since they are half-elves, it can be longer, but he accelerated it again, putting vitalities into the orcs' bellies every day, their bellies grew rapidly.

He went hunting every night to gain more vitality and corruption. A month later, the orcs of the gray mountains arrived. He killed the males and sucked the corruption from the females, a little more than twenty, then made them enter the breeding plane.

It was at this time that the first half-orc, half-elf was born.

When the baby was born, he was too big for the orc, she ended up dying in childbirth from excessive bleeding, but he didn't care much, the baby was brought to him by another Orc.

He looked carefully and noticed the differences, normal limbs, no mutations, pointy ears like those of elves, slightly wrinkled from being a newborn, still crying, its differences however were clear, its skin was a pale grayish, the tufts of hair on its head a pure white, it was a girl.

"Well, you are the first of your race, daughter of Smaug, the king over the mountain, your name shall be Helena." Smaug declared calmly.

The little girl opened her eyes with red irises slightly, she seemed to be able to see, she saw the huge dragon, but she wasn't scared, just making baby noises.

"Helena... yes, if you are worthy, you will rule my armies, but in these mountains, the biggest fist is king, don't say I didn't warn you." The dragon laughed lightly, amused.

He then filled her with vitality and let the pregnant orc, but still with a small stomach, carry her. He used his life gift to grow fruit trees and edible food in some parts of the mountain, then he let the orcs offer fruit to her. She was born with teeth, although only the canines were pointed.

Over the next month, the palace became more and more crowded. It only took a month for all the babies from the first batch to be born, and the second batch was close behind. All the mothers had died. Even though his lifeblood gift could heal, it wasn't really a healing skill, so he couldn't do much about it.

But that didn't matter, the little half-orc, half-elf children who were born first already looked like eight-year-old children, Helena was the biggest among them.

With red eyes, grayish-white skin, and pure white hair, making Smaug think of the Moon Elves in his previous life, so he called them that, Moon Elves.

The orcs themselves were once elves, or humans, it's hard to know, so it doesn't matter if they just carry the name elf.

 --x--

-King, why do flowers wither? - Little Helen, sitting on Smaug's nose, asked, holding a withered rose, a little sad.

-Because everything in life has an end, whether it's you or me, we will all wither one day, just like this flower, but it will take a long, long time. - He joked.

The vitality of the moon elves was like that of the elves, their vitality not decreasing over time, but they could still die from unnatural causes or from sadness.

-Why? - The little elf asked curiously, without really understanding what death means.

Smaug rolled his eyes, then said, "Ask Tauriel."

Helena pouted and sighed in resignation.

He released Tauriel, he didn't do anything to her, he just made her teach the little moon elves in his name, besides not teaching them things like "Dragons are evil" and "We will kill the king when you grow up" he doesn't care much, he spent a lot of time using compulsion on her to prevent rebellion and her from running away, in the end, she was free, but trapped at the same time.

She still looked angry at what he did, but looking at the little moon elves, she didn't refuse to teach them.

He put vitality into them every day, but he will stop when they reach ten years old. After all, childhood is an important stage in life, so he let them live in this state for a while, allowing them to grow in the future.

Tauriel became a teacher, not only educating them about the world, but also about war, this was part of his compulsion, Smaug himself played with the children from time to time and placed mild loyalty compulsions on them, making them loyal from a young age.

Taking advantage of this period, he would continue to use compulsions for this.

Elves take 50 years to reach maturity and up to 100 to complete their growth before they age no more, according to Tauriel, Helena already looks about fifteen to twenty years old for an elf.

Shrugging, he played with Helena a little more and let her go, the treasure room now being his bedroom, he also used gold coins to make a "bed" for himself, in truth he simply liked gold, even without the corruption affecting him, he still felt that he liked gold, not to a level of madness, but to a level of abnormal attachment.

At night, he left again, returning to the dark forest, Smaug's scales were now more silvery black, the red just a memory of the past, besides, now his flames could be harnessed to corruption, creating what he called cursed flames.

His magic also grew greatly during this period, he alternated between hunting in the Grey Mountains and Mirkwood, he wanted to go to Mordor, but he didn't want to arrive in Sauron's lands as a dragon and at this point, his transformation into a spider-like creature only lasted a few hours.

Sighing, he took advantage of the cloudy weather to use the eye of the sky and scan the nearby forest, of course, he didn't dare go to his place to use it so as not to be seen by Sauron currently in Dol Guldur, but to the north it was still possible.

It was while searching for a target that he found something interesting, two women and... a wizard? Dressed in gray and bearded, Gandalf?

Gandalf seemed to notice something and looked up, narrowing his eyes and looking at the clouds, he felt something was wrong, but he didn't know what it was.

-You'd better get some sleep, Olwyn, I'll keep watch. - Gandalf said to the elderly woman next to him.

The woman waved and settled into the tree, tired from the journey, she soon fell asleep while Gandalf smoked his pipe, he looked at the beautiful red-haired woman sleeping against another tree and looked away, sighing, wondering where the ring was...
