Chapter 337 - Robin's Social Death, the Dream of Unity

Sunday wasn't arrogant enough to think Dominicus was invincible.

But, empowered by thousands of wishes, on Penacony's home turf, and guided by the "Dream of Unity (Ena)"... at least in this environment, he was confident he would not lose to any other Emanator.

Wielding the powers of both Harmony and Order, who could possibly stand against this avatar of two Aeons?

In the face of this overconfidence, this arrogance, Robin answered with an unshakably firm tone.

"Lord Su Mo!"

"Even so, Brother, you could never defeat Lord Su Mo!"

Yes, this was the reason Robin had remained completely calm even after hearing of Sunday's terrifying plan.

Dominicus of the Collective Will was indeed strong, and with the home-field advantage, its power would multiply.

But no matter how much it was strengthened, it could never be a match for Su Mo.

Although she had never directly witnessed Su Mo's strength, she could faintly sense from the attitudes of the Aeons towards him that while an Aeon might be able to harm Su Mo, an Emanator never could. They were not beings of the same dimension.

Therefore, no matter how well Sunday planned, no matter how much he overestimated Su Mo and how thoroughly he prepared, it was impossible to truly surmount this peak.

"..."

Hearing the undisguised adoration for Su Mo in Robin's voice, her complete lack of faith in his own victory, Sunday took a long, deep look at his sister, shook his head, and offered no further explanation.

"Then let's wait and see!"

In his view, Robin's admiration had robbed her of her ability to judge reality. Unless one was willing to burn all of Penacony to the ground, even an Emanator of Nihility would have a hard time dealing with Dominicus.

"Brother!" Seeing Sunday turn to leave, Robin couldn't help but call out to him, wanting to explain Su Mo's true strength without revealing his secrets. Lord Su Mo is the one person you must not make an enemy of.

However, Sunday had already guessed what Robin would say, and those were words he did not want to hear. So, he left the room without looking back, stubbornly set on his path.

At the very end, Robin heard Sunday's voice carried on the wind.

"The plan is about to begin. Don't worry, Robin. You don't have to do anything. Just wait patiently, and you will receive what you desire... a perfect life!"

"?!"

Hearing those gentle whispers, an inexplicable fear bloomed in Robin's heart. What is my brother planning to do?

A wave of drowsiness washed over her. Robin let out a small yawn but did not fall asleep. Now was not the time to rest.

She didn't know the specifics of Sunday's plan, but she knew that if she didn't stop him now, she wouldn't get another chance. Was she just going to stand by and watch her brother fly into the flame like a moth?

No, she absolutely could not!

"Miss Robin, I'm sorry, but we cannot let you out!" The loyal guards of the Oak Family blocked Robin's path.

Under Sunday's orders, they would never harm her, but if she wanted to leave, she would have to step over their dead bodies.

It was a blatant, unavoidable trap. As long as she didn't want to kill them, Robin could not leave. Given the young woman's personality, this cage should have been impossible to escape.

However, nothing in the world is truly impossible, only things that have yet to happen.

Robin was not a caged bird. On the contrary, she had long flown free across the universe and had just recently bathed in the warmth of the sun.

Someone who had received the sun's grace would naturally not be bound by a mere cage.

And so—

"Lord Su Mo, I'm counting on you...!"

Following Su Mo's earlier instructions, Robin clasped her hands together in prayer, beseeching his help.

In this crisis, the Aeon of Harmony could no longer be trusted. Only Su Mo had the power to break this stalemate.

Just as Robin had expected, Su Mo quickly answered her wish and appeared before her. Not only did he, like a knight or prince from a fairy tale, shatter the Oak Family's cage, but he also completely foiled Sunday's plot before he could do anything foolish and truly launch his rebellion.

After being educated by Lord Su Mo, Sunday quickly realized the error of his ways. To show his repentance, he stepped down as the head of the Oak Family and joined Lord Su Mo's service, atoning for his past by carrying out various public welfare projects assigned by Su Mo.

Watching her brother's transformation, Robin was immensely gratified, feeling it was almost too good to be true. As expected of Lord Su Mo; when he acted, the result was nothing short of a perfect ending.

After the Penacony incident concluded, Robin did not resume her concert tour. Instead, she shifted the focus of her career to Su Mo. She was well aware of her own influence—she possessed a level of popularity comparable to an Emanator, yet the charitable value she produced was a pittance compared to Su Mo's. Correspondingly, the value Su Mo created far surpassed her own by a thousandfold, yet he had not gained the corresponding fame, status, or public support.

That being the case, why should she continue with her own low-yield model? With her fame and his substance, wouldn't they be the perfect partners?

With this in mind, Robin began to promote Su Mo's endeavors. Based on solid facts, she achieved excellent results, even setting a new trend for philanthropy across the galaxy. In just a few short years, the two of them initiated numerous groundbreaking projects that changed the galaxy, greatly soothing the public's pain and mitigating many unnecessary wars. Using her voice to heal the world—Robin had achieved her life's goal in a short time.

And Su Mo, through her introduction, became known and revered by the public.

The experiences in between felt as illusory as a dream.

With the encouragement of the entire populace, Robin, in front of the whole galaxy, mustered the courage to confess her feelings to Su Mo. And to everyone's relief and Robin's immense joy, Su Mo actually reciprocated her feelings. And so, their wedding date was set, and Robin naturally became Su Mo's first lady.

On the eve of their wedding, they returned to Penacony together. Robin returned to her old room.

Looking at the familiar furnishings, Robin felt a little dazed. "This place looks almost exactly the same as it did five years ago, when I called Lord Su Mo's name." A sweet smile touched her lips. "If Lord Su Mo hadn't answered my call for help that day, I probably wouldn't have had the chance to develop this kind of relationship with him, right?" the white-winged maiden sighed with complex emotions.

Just then, Su Mo's voice suddenly came from behind her, startling her. She turned around and, seeing the genuine confusion on Su Mo's face, blushed and shot him a playful look. "Honestly, Lord Su Mo... do you just enjoy making me say embarrassing things like this?"

"?!"

Seeing the even deeper confusion on his face, Robin took a deep breath and said magnanimously, "Well, the wedding is tomorrow, so it doesn't count if I say it now... Lord Su Mo—no, Lord Husband... do you like that title?" The young woman blinked coquettishly and asked cheerfully.

Su Mo fell silent. Seeing the dawning realization mixed with hesitation on his face, a seed of doubt sprouted in Robin's heart.

"?!"

The way Lord Su Mo was looking at her... it wasn't like he was looking at a lover. It was completely different from his expression the day he accepted her confession...

No, wait! What was his expression when he accepted her confession? On what day did she confess to him? Why had they become so close? How exactly was the Penacony crisis resolved? And what about the Harmony? Why hadn't the Aeon of Harmony acted against Lord Su Mo?

A cascade of questions sent Robin's logic into a tailspin. It was as if cold water had been dumped on her head, and some phantom in her mind suddenly shattered. Looking at the furnishings of her room, she couldn't recall any of those important details no matter how hard she tried.

Back then, how did Lord Su Mo save her from her confinement?

Just as Robin was getting a headache trying to remember, she suddenly heard a young girl's voice. Looking up, she saw that Su Mo hadn't come alone. Behind him were several girls, some she recognized and some she didn't.

"L-Lord Husband? That title has a very Xianzhou-like feel to it. Should I start calling Dad that too?" The gray-haired girl scratching her head was none other than the Stellaron Human, Su Mo's adopted daughter, whom she had met in his room.

The gray-haired girl spoke words that defied ethics without a care in the world, then looked at Robin with curiosity. "So, you want to be my stepmom too, huh!"

!

Thump, thump, thump!

Robin staggered back a step, her eyes wide. Her mind buzzed, and she finally realized something was wrong.

If she was Lord Su Mo's adopted daughter, then she was also her daughter. But why was there almost no trace of her in her memories? The only clear memory was from five years ago, before the Penacony incident, when she first met her with Lord Su Mo. This made no sense!

After the gray-haired girl's comment, the pink-haired girl next to her noticed Robin's shocked expression and kindly tried to comfort her. "It's nothing. In the Dream of Unity, it's normal to dream of your ideal future. I had a similar dream before." She bit her lip with a hint of envy. "Ugh, if Stelle hadn't woken me up, I'd probably be at the wedding part by now!"

March 7th could deeply empathize with Robin's current confusion, as she had made a similar fool of herself, thinking she had become Su Mo's first lady. So now, her comfort was quite gentle.

However, no matter how careful she was, her words were still a bolt from the blue for Robin. "Miss March 7th, what did you just say?! A... dream?" Robin's expression was incredibly strained, a mix of existential confusion and a shame so deep she wanted to die.

Seeing her like this, Firefly gave her a sympathetic look. "Miss Robin, you're right... I don't know what you just experienced, but it was all the false Dream of Unity."

The silver-haired girl answered with perfect clarity. "In reality, it is now the day before the Harmony Festival! Mr. Sunday launched his plan ahead of schedule, summoning Dominicus, the avatar of the Aeon of Harmony, and has pulled all of Penacony into the dreamscape."

"And ten seconds ago, you called out to Lord Su Mo for help. Everything that has happened in that time came from the deepest wishes of your heart."

As she said this, Firefly's expression held a hint of regret and envy. She also wanted to have a dream like that. Even if it was just a dream, if she could marry Lord Su Mo together with Stelle, she could be with the two people she loved most forever. Unfortunately, she was now an Emanator of Propagation, and the illusions of the Dream of Unity could not affect her.

"Ah!"

Hearing Firefly's explanation, Robin's eyes went vacant. So, just now, in front of Lord Su Mo and several other people, she had presumptuously called him her husband? She had exposed her deepest, most secret fantasies to the public?

Remembering this, her cheeks burned hot, and she wanted to find a hole to crawl into. "I want to die... ugh..." She squatted on the ground, burying her face in her hands, her delicate frame trembling slightly.

"Stay strong!" Firefly patted her shoulder with a hint of pity.
