Chapter 10 - Character descriptions

DomMaxwell

Hardened, battle-scarred jedi whose faith in the Force has been deeply shaken. Once idealistic and loyal to the rebellion, he's now haunted by loss-his severed arm, fallen comrades, and the looming shadow of the Pale Father.

Lorenzo Maxwell

Lorenzo is a conflicted and emotional torn former rebel, once close to Dom, now caught between loyalty and survival. Intelligent, percetive, and fiercely independent, he watches the galaxy crumble from the shadows, haunted by old memories and pressured by imperial forces. Lorenzo journey is one of slow erosion-a good man forced to compromise, inching towards the dark as he weighs the cost of bloods ties, betrayal, and the pursuit of victory. Lorenzo isn't evil...but he's drifting l. And soon, he may no longer recognise the man he used to be.

Trax

Trax is a Hardened warrior and Dom's most loyal ally-at least in the beginning. He's fiercely tactical, battle-scarred, and driven by results rather than ideals. Unlike Dom, who clings to hope and morality, Trax believes in doing what must be done, even if it means blurring the line between light and dark. War has sharpened him into a weapon, and over time, that edge begins to cut too deep. As the fight drags on and losses mount, Trax's thirst for vengeance and order pushes him towards darker choices.

The Pale Father

The Pale Father is the central antagonist—a haunting, almost mythic figure cloaked in darkness and legend. Once a man, now something far worse, he is a Sith twisted by time, war, and ancient power. His cracked obsidian mask and jagged crimson blade are symbols of fear across the galaxy. He speaks rarely, but when he does, every word is calculated to wound. His philosophy is cold and unrelenting: pain breeds loyalty, and hope is a lie.

Unlike other Sith, the Pale Father isn't driven by rage alone—he's patient, strategic, and terrifyingly calm. He doesn't seek destruction for its own sake; he seeks control, rebuilding the galaxy in his image through psychological manipulation and cruelty. To him, suffering is a tool. He sees potential in Dom, Lorenzo, and even Trax—not as enemies, but as pieces to mold or break. Every encounter with him feels like a chess match where he's always five moves ahead.

He's not a villain to be fought and defeated in a single battle—he's a creeping infection in the soul of the galaxy

The Blackened death

The Blacken Death is the Pale Father's most feared disciple—a former Inquisitor twisted beyond recognition. Shrouded in armor scorched black and crimson, with a voice like rusted iron dragged across stone, he embodies terror and decay. His real name is long forgotten, consumed by his devotion to darkness and the Pale Father's ideology. Where the Pale Father manipulates with precision, the Blacken Death destroys with fury.

he is pure weapon. Unlike many Sith, he revels in violence. His lightsaber is a brutal double-bladed pike, serrated and unstable, and his fighting style is ruthless—like watching a storm tear through flesh and steel. He doesn't speak much, but when he does, it's filled with a quiet madness—whispers of death, of memory, of things that never die.

The Blacken Death is a ghost made real—he infiltrates, he corrupts, and he kills. He walks through fire unfazed, driven by purpose: to purge the galaxy of weakness, to finish what the Pale Father started, and to see the Jedi finally burn. To many, he's not a person. He's a nightmare that walks.

Mr Larusen

Mr. Larusen is a complex figure—a political architect, a wartime advisor, and one of the last few with insight into the old ways of the Republic and the dark undercurrents that destroyed it. Once a respected senator and strategist, Larusen survived the fall of the Jedi and the rise of the Empire by becoming something colder: a man who understood that ideals without power meant death.

Larusen helped Lara shape the early foundations of the Galactic Free Systems, urging her to reform the Jedi not as warriors, but as peacekeepers—though he himself trusts neither the Jedi nor the Force. He fears what the Pale Father represents: not just a resurgence of Sith power, but the return of myth in a galaxy that desperately needs reason.

In many ways, Mr. Larusen is a mirror to characters like Dom and Lorenzo—less idealistic, but no less scarred. He's the man who watches the fire from the edges and reminds the heroes what it will cost if they fail. Cold at times, but not cruel. Tired, but never without purpose.

Lara

Once a Mandalorian who walked through fire losing her her friends, and her faith—Lara emerges in the trilogy as something rare: a builder in an age of ruin. By Shadows of Rebellion, she has become Chancellor of the Galactic Free Systems, tasked with rebuilding not only a fractured government but an entire philosophy. She believes the Jedi must change—no longer warriors of prophecy, but peacekeepers forged by memory, pain, and humillty.

If Dom is the soul, Lorenzo the tragedy, and Trax the rage, Lara is the balance—the leader who dares to imagine peace in a time of endless war.

Queen Jade

In truth, Queen Jade died generations ago. But her legacy—mysterious, revered, and feared—became fertile ground for manipulation. In Star Wars: Echoes of Ashes, the figure who claims to be Queen Jade is no resurrected monarch, but Victoria, a powerful witch of the dark side, a deceiver who wears Jade's face like a mask.

Victoria resurrects the myth of Queen Jade to gain followers, especially among Force-sensitive cults and superstitious systems looking for a messianic figure. She twists Jade's legacy into a doctrine of power, control, and divine rule. She speaks of "purifying" the Force, restoring the "true balance," and undoing the so-called lies of the Jedi Order.

The real Queen jade is long dead. But her name has become a mask for a galaxy's most dangerous villains

Cvince

A battle-scarred Jedi Guardian and one of Lara's most trusted allies. Stoic, loyal, and haunted by past failures, Cvince acts as the sword and shield of the New Jedi Order. Though deeply devoted to the cause, he wrestles with the fear that peace may never last—and that he may not survive long enough to see it.

Connie

A passionate and impulsive young Jedi Knight trained by Lara. Bold, idealistic, and sometimes reckless, Connie burns with a desire to do good—but her emotions often push her toward dangerous extremes. She represents the hope of the new Jedi, but also the risks of rebuilding the Order too quickly.

General Juno

A minor but intriguing figure, General Juno appeared briefly in the first story. In a high-ranking position within the crumbling commandens. Though her role was small, she is know to being a calm but ruthless leader, someone who want to maintained order.
