----------

In the darkness, there was chaos, with no sense of front, back, left, or right. The feeling of weightlessness quickly evolved into spacetime compression and distortion, like riding a roller coaster. Even with his Spider-Sense, he didn't know where he was being thrown.

For a moment, the distorted spacetime power ignored the protection of his psychic power and spread over Kaito's body, as if trying to assimilate him into a part of spacetime matter. He tried to resist, but could only maintain basic conscious existence, his senses plunging into a black silence.

Marvel 1610 Universe, New York City.

Miles Morales from Vision Academy had been troubled recently. First, he was bitten by a strange spider, and then strange things kept happening.

Overnight, he gained powers similar to Spider-Man. Unable to control his abilities, he ruined the hair of a girl he liked, a beautiful relationship seemingly ending before it even began.

At night, he personally witnessed Spider-Man being killed by a muscular fat man in the Brooklyn subway, but the news reported that he died from earthquake injuries. He was chased for several blocks by a villain in a purple high-tech battlesuit, and it took all his strength to escape.

These chaotic events twisted his originally normal life into a tangled mess, until he attended Spider-Man's memorial service. Just when he thought everything had settled, he found another Spider-Man in front of Spider-Man's tombstone.

But it was the middle-aged, overweight version. Regardless of whether he was real or an imposter, he was now tied up in Uncle Aaron's house. So, it was time for a good interrogation!

Kaito woke up from the darkness. His senses gradually expanded, and the surroundings were still a chaotic and disordered spacetime rift, but occasionally, complex, glowing white spiderwebs streaked through the darkness.

Thanks to this, he knew he was moving at high speed. Attempting to move his body, Kaito touched a tough spacetime barrier.

From the sensation feedback to his fingertips, this seemingly solid barrier was actually as fragile as a bubble. With his current strength, he could easily break free with a little more force.

As he pondered, his vision suddenly cleared. Under the night sky, a modern city, both familiar and strange, appeared in his sight.

Familiar, because he had learned about this city in many ways; strange, because he had never truly been here. His gaze fixed on the statue of a goddess holding a torch on the coastline, and Kaito immediately confirmed: "This is New York."

He himself was plummeting towards the ground at an extremely high speed! The moment before impact, Kaito exerted force with both arms, and terrifying brute strength erupted. The barrier formed by spacetime energy instantly shattered, turning into countless distorted fragments of various colors, dissolving into the air.

His psychic power expanded, and Kaito stabilized himself amidst a multitude of tall office buildings, his feet above the famous Times Square. Neon lights flickered, pedestrians everywhere, a scene of prosperity.

However, the news uniformly displayed on the surrounding LED screens was a bit off: "...Spider-Man died from severe injuries in a strong earthquake in Brooklyn. His true identity was confirmed to be Peter Parker, a 26-year-old graduate student and part-time photographer. New York City's good neighbor has left its citizens forever."

"Oh, this." Kaito landed on the rooftop of a small building. The people in his perception were as surprised and bewildered as he was, pulling out their phones to confirm the news.

In the blink of an eye, a tremendous sorrow enveloped the entire city.

"It seems it's true." Kaito narrowed his eyes, finally confirming which world he had arrived in. This was the Marvel World.

As everyone knows, the Marvel World has a nearly infinite number of multiverses, and the vitality of these universes depends on comic sales and the writers' imaginations. They could undergo great changes over time, or they could be reset with a single snap.

And New York in the Marvel World was the center of countless major events, a peaceful city with simple folk customs. Spider-Man confirmed dead? That was indeed bad news.

Kaito wasn't sure how long the 'Black Box' described as a brief stop would actually be. It seemed he had to quickly investigate the cause of the matter... As he pondered, a familiar red and blue figure flashed across his peripheral vision, stopping on the glass curtain wall of a nearby office building.

Kaito: "???" Then he looked at the special news still looping on the big screen... Fake News?

"Damn it? I'm already dead?" Peter Parker stared blankly at the news playing on the screen below, his mind momentarily confused. "26 years old, but even with the Blip, I'm only 21! And graduate student? Forget it, I haven't even started college yet! So... did Doctor Strange's spell go wrong again? Oh my god, what happened..."

"I was just about to ask you that question, Mr. Parker."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!!!" Peter Parker jumped in fright, his hair standing on end beneath his suit. He backflipped repeatedly on the glass curtain wall, creating a distance of nearly ten meters, before finally getting a clear look at the speaker.

Hey, why is this guy so handsome and so tall? This isn't fair! He must be around 1.95 meters, right? That physique, those exaggerated muscles... he's as tall and strong as Mr. Thor from Asgard!

"Wait... why are you flying? Oh my god, you can actually fly? A psychic user? A hero, or a psychic villain..."

"Stop!" Kaito's temple twitched, interrupting the chattering little bug. "My name is Kaito, my profession is a police officer, and my part-time job is a hero."

"A hero? I mean, are you also a hero?" Peter paused, perhaps his Spider-Sense detecting no malice from Kaito. "I see, you haven't joined the Avengers, have you? That's why I don't know you."

"What you said... is at least logically correct," Kaito floated in front of the slightly calmer Peter, his hands in his pockets, directly stating the current situation. "The hero organization I belong to is not the Avengers, but the Hero Association, and the world we are currently in is not our respective universes."

Peter: "!!!"

"Hiss..." A similar sharp pain came from the back of his head; the Spider-Sense between different individuals instinctively perceived information from a fellow kind.

Peter didn't have time to process the information conveyed by Kaito's words and instead stared at Kaito in shock: "This feeling is definitely right, you... are like me?"

"Yes, I do possess some Spider powers." Kaito nodded, making a gesture with his right index finger and thumb that men from a certain country hated immensely. "Just a little bit."

"I see," Peter Parker finally regained the composure a Super Hero should have, hesitating before taking off his mask. "Mr. Kaito, I think we need to have a good talk."

"Of course," seeing the handsome face of the Holland version beneath the mask, Kaito made an inviting gesture: "I know a suitable place."
